NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. That said, amateur and homemade features have a great charm to them, simple because the people in them are doing what they’re doing to have fun and because they enjoy it. All the things that separate them from studio porn contribute to that charm, I hope people will keep that in mind when checking out this review and not just look at the ratings as the ultimate word on this release.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The audio is pretty well balanced between the performers, but there are a few background noises and a little talk back and forth with the cameraman. The video is also okay. There’s a bit of grain throughout the movie and there’s a few soft focus and motion problems here and there throughout the movie. There’s also a little digital breakup and the lighting varies a fair amount through the movie. With the exception of the digital breakup, it’s actually pretty average for an amateur movie.

Music: There’s a little music in the background which is obviously provided by a radio, just as it is in most offices. It rests pretty well in the background, and unlike most porn music, is actually familiar for the most part.

Watermark Warning: There’s a watermark in the lower right corner of the screen. It says put so that it’s easy to put out of your mind, but I mention it because I know that some people absolutely hate them. The good news is that the good people over at Pixie’s Emporium are great about listening to their customers, and I think they’ve started to remove the watermarks from their movies. If you’re interested in this one and the watermark is a deciding factor, make sure to drop them an e-mail and I’m sure that they’ll let you know the status of it.

Menus: The menus are okay. The main menu has a still that nicely showcases Mandi* and the chapter menu lets you choose between a few portions of the movie based on a still of the scene and a description as well as the photo gallery.

The Feature

Mandi* has a rough job. Okay, make that Mandi* has a hard job. Apparently she types for about five minutes a day and then gets it on with Alex the rest fo the day. If you don’t believe me, then just watch this.

Scene 1 - Mandi* and Alex

Mandi*, the cute little brunette that so many of us immediately associate with Pixie’s Emporium, starts things out hard at work. When redheaded Alex joins her with a kiss, she can’t concentrate on her work and lets him kiss his way around her great natural tits. She reaches in his pants to get out his cock, and quickly works her pierced tongue down his stomach before wrapping her mouth around his meat. After Mandi*’s pants disappear they head into the next room for Alex to continue kissing her tits as well as working his mouth around her pussy. This is a nice opening scene. Mandi* and Alex have nice chemistry and keep things moving quite well. I really like all the oral as well as the playful feel to the scene. The camera work focused a bit much on the penetration for my tastes, but thankfully it also moved away to show some of Mandi*’s reactions. This is a fairly hot scene.

Scene 2 - Mandi* and Alex

Mandi* and Alex head to the pool next, with Alex working his mouth around Mandi*’s body as she lies back in a floating char. He picks her up with a kiss and then works her over with his tongue, fingers, and a toy as Mandi* sits on the edge of the pool. Mandi* trades places with him so she can get him ready in return before they kiss and play with each other on a blanket in the yard. Mandi* climbs up for a cowgirl ride before bouncing on Alex as she lies back. They get a bit more oral in before fucking missionary style in a hammock. Alex apparently can’t pop, so he goes down on Mandi* until she’s had enough instead.

This scene didn’t do a lot for me. As usual, Mandi*’s quite easy on the eyes, but the choppy feel of this scene and Alex not being able to get the job done just didn’t do anything for me. It looked like Mandi* was a bit frustrated with it as well, which also held the scene back. This one hovers around the average mark.

Scene 3 - Mandi* and Alex

Mandi* and Alex head for the bed next, with Mandi* wearing a sexy black little outfit. After a little kissing Mandi* wraps her mouth around Alex’s cock and then lets him reciprocate on her now bald beaver. They fuck as they sit facing each other before Mandi* tries climbing up for a cowgirl ride. Apparently that doesn’t work as they quick move back to sixty-nine with Mandi* looking like she isn’t enjoying the taste of Alex’s cock at first. They go back for a cowgirl ride and a bit of missionary work before Mandi* has to put her oral skills to work on Alex yet again. They get in a little doggie, reverse cowgirl, and missionary before the scene fades out with Alex unable to pop.

This is another disappointing scene. Mandi* looks good and puts out some nice effort, but the bottle of “beer” Mandi* holds in the commercial after the scene looks like it could deliver better than Alex can. This scene left me bored as can be.

Me at the Office left me a bit disappointed. Maybe it’s what I should have expected with Alex’s past record, but the entire movie left me wanting more. Mandi* almost always puts out fun scenes and setups, and this one seemed like a great idea for some fun setups. Instead you get a minute or two of Mandi* typing before going on with a bunch of sex with Alex. There’s nothing with her “playing around” at work and the scenes end up feeling like they’re chopped together. As usual Mandi* looks like she enjoys most of the sex, but Alex seems like he couldn’t stay hard no matter what she did and Mandi*’s frustration comes out throughout the movie. Me at the Office was one of the most disappointing releases I’ve seen with Mandi* or from Pixie’s Emporium.

The photo gallery lasts about five and a quarter minutes with about seven seconds per okay screen capture. There’s also a commercial.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of the DVDs from Pixie’s Emporium can be found online for around $13. Aim low here. The first scene is good but the movie falls off sharply afterwards. The technical aspects are pretty average for an amateur movie and there isn’t much for extras. This is a fairly average amateur release.

Note to Pixie’s Emporium: I guess everybody has an off day...
