Audio/visual quality: Fallen Angel DVDs tend to be uneven in technical qualitysometimes the lighting or camera angles leave a lot to be desired. But Sex Across America Second Stop: New Orleans is probably the best I've yet seen from this studio. The footage from the two cameras has been edited together in a pleasing manner, usually letting me see what I want to see (the biggest exception is the indirect view of the anal sex in the third scene). A few places are slightly overlit (leading to saturation), and a few are slightly underlit (leading to grain).

Review brief: I am a big fan of Kate Frost and Kristina Black so I naturally went into this video knowing the work of those 2 girls. The plot is very thin and even borders on camp, but the sex is excellent. However, one girl really stands out in this video and that is Phoenix. She is in a threesome with Kate and Herschel (is this guy ever going to retire) Savage. He plays the amorous teacher (again), but even he does good in this one. How can he help it but to do well with a girl like Kate sitting on his face while a hottie like Phoenix does a reverse cowgirl showing a beautiful shaved twat. It will give you a "stiffie", believe me. The first scene of the video has Kristina taking on a couple of studs and she does her usual good work with them. She is a truly stunning girl. Its decently balanced, and although there are some background noises, they normally stay in the background pretty well. Menus: The main menu is pretty simple, and includes a small clip of the movie on a still of other pics from the movie. Its not great, but its also not bad.

The video is surprisingly clear right out to the edge of the screen and well lit. Theres a little pixelation, but not much. Music: The music reminded me of things like elevators and the dentist office. Disc Problems / Complaints: Theres no time stamp here, which always ticks me off. I like to be able to jump around in movies, as well as knowing things like how long the movie is and how much is left. Without the time stamp, Im left in the dark.

Review brief: Here is a Harold Lime/Robert McCallum classic from 1982 that is still famous over 20 years later. It won six adult film critic awards, including best picture. Because it was filmed near the end of the "golden age," there aren't quite as many exterior shots as there would have been in movies a few years older. The plot involves a madam named Amanda (Veronica Hart) who, as a favor to her former pimp and lover (Jamie Gillis), sets up an S & M session for a local politician. The girls that she sends for this session (Lisa de Leeuw and Samantha Fox) are later found dead. R. Bolla plays the straight-arrow homicide detective trying to solve the case, without much help from Amanda. To make matters worse, there's a corrupt vice squad cop (Ron Jeremy) who is constantly getting in the way. By today's standards, this is couples' fare, with relatively short sex scenes, and loads of plot. It's so good-hearted, it could almost be on the Family Channel. Veronica Hart gets to over-act and ham it up ridiculously. It's a good movie, but a poor DVD.

Review brief: After spending a great part of my life in big cities and then returning to the country, I discovered just how slowly things move in the country. The speed limit may be 55, but the locals poke along at 35; cashiers in checkout lanes hold long conversations with the patrons. So I suppose the slow leisurely pace of COUNTRY TIME, COUNTRY FINE is appropriate, but it doesnt make for stimulating viewing. There are only three persons in the cast. Jeff Baron, a gorgeous hunk of man with graying hair, black eyebrows, a small goatee, a light dusting of hair on a perfect chest, a pierced ear, nipple, and navel; and a brown-skinned cock. The type of daddy twinks would die for. Then we have Brett Collins, who has appeared in films from major studios such as ORAL EXAM and PLEDGES. Finally, we have Cody Scott whose somewhat emaciated face seems rather at odds on a fleshy body. When we join these three they are playing the local game of Seattleopoly. They play it for ten frigging minutes before there is any horseplay.

Review brief: This 1984 release from Cal Vista is a couple of years too recent to be considered "Golden Age," but is definitely a classic. Produced by Sam Norvell and directed by Robert McCallum, it features 70s porn superstar Annette Haven, along with John Leslie, Harry Reems, R. Bolla, and Hershel Savage. It also features "Angel" who was breifly the rage during the mid-1980s. She does a scene with Leslie and another with R. Bolla. My favorite performer is the under-celebrated Janey Robbins. She had a great body and was a very enthusiastic sex performer. Robbins also has a cute Minnesota accent (like the female sheriff in "Fargo"). Here, she does two scenes, one with R. Bolla and one with Hershel Savage (a purported incest scene). Strangely, it appears that this movie was intended to have a sequel, but I've never seen it, and I don't think it was ever made. Nu-tech has done an acceptable job on the DVD transfer; it looks much better than the tape I had. Nu-tech also features Dolby surround sound, but I couldn't detect any improvement in the sound.

Review brief: PRICK-A-PORTER is a clever take on the fashion trades prêt-a-porter (ready to wear). Robert le Foc (haha) is a designer who needs to make a comeback so he approaches Jean-Claude Penisse (hoho) the man who can make it all possible. The drawback is that Jean-Claude is Roberts former lover whom Robert jilted. Robert is played by Renato Bellagio (a man of many names who is using yet another one here) while Jean-Claude is played by the popular Janos Volt (also using another name here). Janos is looking hotter than ever before. He has shaved his chest in order to show off his new bodthe result of many hours and much hard work in the gym. I was never truly a fan until now. But, wow! Jean-Claudes new lover is a handsome blond assistant that is also familiar with body-sculpting. A nice threesome is the result. Review brief: GAMES MEN PLAY is a 1979 pre-condom flick that has been transferred to DVD. The guys are mostly seventies gay clones with mustaches and beards. It begins with a gang member in a leather jacket picking up a hustler who takes him to a T-room. When they arrive the gang member refuses to pay the hustler and orders him to give him a blowjob. Review brief: Expectations The Fetish Machine series is a weird bird. Whereas the Pirate series from Frank Thring had a good fetish feel to it, and the Tanya Hyde stuff was brilliant, the Kovi stuff never quite seems to sync. These are well filmed releases with hot girls, but the fetish generally is confined to some outfits and some face paint. I hope that this release will surpass some of its predecessors. Capsule Review This is definitely the best volume I've seen in this series. While the face painting still seems somewhat silly to me, the sets and the sex are better than the previous installments. And the cast is stellar. Technical The camera work is very good and clear. The lighting is adequate, although some of the shots are a little too smoky (a stylistic element that slightly interferes with the production.) The audio is dubbed. Review brief: A rather odd title to a pretty good film. There are five scenes. The guys know how to fuck but are not very proficient cocksuckers, which seems to indicate that they are gay-for-pay. But as the guys are all attractive and as there is something titillating about straight guys getting it on, I can recommend this one to all you Russophiles and foreskin lovers. In the opening scene Miroslav and Petrz (the guys are identified for each scene but not as to which is which) start making out on a park bench where they suck one another before moving to a secluded area where they spread a blanket and fuck. One is a brunet and one is a blond, a combo that this director seems to like. (There is no way on earth Im going to buy a name like Roman Pornanski, which is what this director is using. Oh well, even Roman Polanski is a fake name.) The next scene with Ladislav and Milan features a very handsome young man who is on a job interview.

Review brief: Expectations Antonio Adamo really doesn't seem to have a home these days at Private. When the Private/Penthouse series was around, Adamo had a wonderful showcase for his talents. The Virtualia series also did a good job of showing off his work. But now he is shooting for the new Private Movies line as well as the old Private Gold line. While he seems to "own" the movies line, his recent work for Private Gold seems to be a bit stronger. I have high hopes for this one. Capsule Review This is a very strong DVD with Adamo showing off many of his trademark shots. While this disc is reminiscent of the Penthouse series, it has more plot and that puts it in line with the Gold series. The plot does not get in the way of any of the sex, and that makes it acceptable to me. Technical The camerawork and lighting are excellent. The mastering is beautiful.

Review brief: Semi-unconventional Review: Joey Silvera's Service Animals 11 History or Why I got/reviewed this movie: I never realised how difficult it was to write a review and it may have been made worse since my porn viewing gets dictated by my ADD. I gotta give props to my fellow ADT reviewers. I took long break from watching Joey Silvera's movies. One of my first movies I ever bought was Butt Row Swallowed and that was because I wanted to see what all the hype was about this new girl, Silvia Saint. Instead I found myself laughing at how much of a nut Joey was when I saw Jessica Darlin giving a stuffed dog a bath. I would watch some of his Fashion Sluts and Please! series and never came away really impressed cause of the quality of the girls was lacking compared to Rocco's. Joey's fondness for shemales seemed to extend to some of the girls he had in his movies. By this time I stayed away from his movies when he started his Service Animals line.

Review brief: Gorge puts me in mind of a very Quigley Down Under frame of film. Clearly, Dred Scott is aborigine and all these gruff men are frolicking in the wild. Filmed on location at the Grand Canyon (Page, AZ to be exact), Bruce Cam has spliced together shots of beautifully unkempt men just roaming around. This all feels a bit like Absolute Arid if you ask me but hey...no one asked me. I'm merely the reviewer and this is merely... Gorge The Director's Expanded Edit offers us something only a limited edition few will ever see. Two delectable discs (one of the film, and one of bonus material) jam packed full of action. We start off on Disc One as the film opens. Right away, I loved the soundtrack. It's got this dijidarro in the background and these grandiose woodwinds. Totally beautiful and really give you a sense of the landscape. I love landscape porn and the movie really doesn't disappoint in that aspect. It switches from letterbox format to full screen so our eyes never lose sense of everything that is around us.

Anyway, you get a voice over to begin the scene telling you the background story. However, I must state upfront with this scene the lighting was just way to dark for me. I am sure the director was going for an effect and some might like it but me I like to have a clear view of the action and you have to really strain your eyes to see some of the action.

Review brief: Here is a Harold Lime/Robert McCallum classic from 1982 that is still famous over 20 years later. It won six adult film critic awards, including best picture. Because it was filmed near the end of the "golden age," there aren't quite as many exterior shots as there would have been in movies a few years older. The plot involves a madam named Amanda (Veronica Hart) who, as a favor to her former pimp and lover (Jamie Gillis), sets up an S & M session for a local politician. The girls that she sends for this session (Lisa de Leeuw and Samantha Fox) are later found dead. R. Bolla plays the straight-arrow homicide detective trying to solve the case, without much help from Amanda. To make matters worse, there's a corrupt vice squad cop (Ron Jeremy) who is constantly getting in the way. By today's standards, this is couples' fare, with relatively short sex scenes, and loads of plot. It's so good-hearted, it could almost be on the Family Channel. Veronica Hart gets to over-act and ham it up ridiculously. It's a good movie, but a poor DVD.

The speed limit may be 55, but the locals poke along at 35; cashiers in checkout lanes hold long conversations with the patrons. So I suppose the slow leisurely pace of COUNTRY TIME, COUNTRY FINE is appropriate, but it doesnt make for stimulating viewing. There are only three persons in the cast. Jeff Baron, a gorgeous hunk of man with graying hair, black eyebrows, a small goatee, a light dusting of hair on a perfect chest, a pierced ear, nipple, and navel; and a brown-skinned cock. Review brief: This 1984 release from Cal Vista is a couple of years too recent to be considered "Golden Age," but is definitely a classic. Produced by Sam Norvell and directed by Robert McCallum, it features 70s porn superstar Annette Haven, along with John Leslie, Harry Reems, R. Bolla, and Hershel Savage. It also features "Angel" who was breifly the rage during the mid-1980s. She does a scene with Leslie and another with R. Bolla. My favorite performer is the under-celebrated Janey Robbins. She had a great body and was a very enthusiastic sex performer. Robbins also has a cute Minnesota accent (like the female sheriff in "Fargo"). Here, she does two scenes, one with R. Bolla and one with Hershel Savage (a purported incest scene). Strangely, it appears that this movie was intended to have a sequel, but I've never seen it, and I don't think it was ever made. Nu-tech has done an acceptable job on the DVD transfer; it looks much better than the tape I had. Nu-tech also features Dolby surround sound, but I couldn't detect any improvement in the sound.

Whereas the Pirate series from Frank Thring had a good fetish feel to it, and the Tanya Hyde stuff was brilliant, the Kovi stuff never quite seems to sync. These are well filmed releases with hot girls, but the fetish generally is confined to some outfits and some face paint. I hope that this release will surpass some of its predecessors. Capsule Review This is definitely the best volume I've seen in this series. While the face painting still seems somewhat silly to me, the sets and the sex are better than the previous installments. And the cast is stellar. Technical The camera work is very good and clear. The lighting is adequate, although some of the shots are a little too smoky (a stylistic element that slightly interferes with the production.) The audio is dubbed. Review brief: A rather odd title to a pretty good film. There are five scenes. The guys know how to fuck but are not very proficient cocksuckers, which seems to indicate that they are gay-for-pay. But as the guys are all attractive and as there is something titillating about straight guys getting it on, I can recommend this one to all you Russophiles and foreskin lovers. In the opening scene Miroslav and Petrz (the guys are identified for each scene but not as to which is which) start making out on a park bench where they suck one another before moving to a secluded area where they spread a blanket and fuck. One is a brunet and one is a blond, a combo that this director seems to like. (There is no way on earth Im going to buy a name like Roman Pornanski, which is what this director is using. Oh well, even Roman Polanski is a fake name.) The next scene with Ladislav and Milan features a very handsome young man who is on a job interview.

Review brief: Expectations Antonio Adamo really doesn't seem to have a home these days at Private. When the Private/Penthouse series was around, Adamo had a wonderful showcase for his talents. The Virtualia series also did a good job of showing off his work. But now he is shooting for the new Private Movies line as well as the old Private Gold line. While he seems to "own" the movies line, his recent work for Private Gold seems to be a bit stronger. I have high hopes for this one. Capsule Review This is a very strong DVD with Adamo showing off many of his trademark shots. While this disc is reminiscent of the Penthouse series, it has more plot and that puts it in line with the Gold series. The plot does not get in the way of any of the sex, and that makes it acceptable to me. Technical The camerawork and lighting are excellent. The mastering is beautiful.

Review brief: Semi-unconventional Review: Joey Silvera's Service Animals 11 History or Why I got/reviewed this movie: I never realised how difficult it was to write a review and it may have been made worse since my porn viewing gets dictated by my ADD. I gotta give props to my fellow ADT reviewers. I took long break from watching Joey Silvera's movies. One of my first movies I ever bought was Butt Row Swallowed and that was because I wanted to see what all the hype was about this new girl, Silvia Saint. Instead I found myself laughing at how much of a nut Joey was when I saw Jessica Darlin giving a stuffed dog a bath. I would watch some of his Fashion Sluts and Please! series and never came away really impressed cause of the quality of the girls was lacking compared to Rocco's. Joey's fondness for shemales seemed to extend to some of the girls he had in his movies. By this time I stayed away from his movies when he started his Service Animals line.

Review brief: Gorge puts me in mind of a very Quigley Down Under frame of film. Clearly, Dred Scott is aborigine and all these gruff men are frolicking in the wild. Filmed on location at the Grand Canyon (Page, AZ to be exact), Bruce Cam has spliced together shots of beautifully unkempt men just roaming around. This all feels a bit like Absolute Arid if you ask me but hey...no one asked me. I'm merely the reviewer and this is merely... Gorge The Director's Expanded Edit offers us something only a limited edition few will ever see. Two delectable discs (one of the film, and one of bonus material) jam packed full of action. We start off on Disc One as the film opens. Right away, I loved the soundtrack. It's got this dijidarro in the background and these grandiose woodwinds. Totally beautiful and really give you a sense of the landscape. I love landscape porn and the movie really doesn't disappoint in that aspect. It switches from letterbox format to full screen so our eyes never lose sense of everything that is around us.

I see Michelle Wild and Kristina Bella are in a scene together so I have high hopes for that one. Our first scene stars Lynn Ston, Robby Blake, and Francesco in a little story called "Sade's Dungeon Perversions". Everyone is dressed in costumes right out of Dangerous Liasons to give you a reference to how they look or the movie Amadeus might help you out better. Anyway, you get a voice over to begin the scene telling you the background story. As this voice talks you see the two men and Lynn Stone appear and as they show up you see the two men playing with Lynn's gorgeous backside. However, I must state upfront with this scene the lighting was just way to dark for me. I am sure the director was going for an effect and some might like it but me I like to have a clear view of the action and you have to really strain your eyes to see some of the action.
