The audio is normally clear, but often slightly off balance. Theres also a fair amount of background noise throughout the feature. The video varies slightly, but normally has only a small amount of grain and good lighting.

Review brief: Expectations The Private/Penthouse series was really the showcase of the talents of Antonio Adamo. He released 12 DVDs in this series. This box set captures 6 of them. I know the movies well, but I can't wait to see how the box has come out. Capsule Review All I can say is WOW! I am going to approach this review a little differently than I normally do, and I will dwell a while in this section. Also, I am not going to do a scene by scene review, but rather a disc by disc review. First off, let's broach the subject of Adamo. He is a very highly stylistic director that has a unique trademark feel to his movies. Some folks love his stuff, and others seem to hate it. I don't think there is a lot of middle ground. There have been comparisons drawn to Blake and Ninn, but other than the fact that those directors are also highly stylized, I don't think there are a lot of parallels. Adamo shoots porn as though it were a fashion magazine. Everything is bright, colors are deep and rich, wardrobe and sets are perfect, the women are made up.

Some of the sexual sounds are dubbed or taken out in favor of bringing the music forward more, but there are still many of the true sex sounds left in. The video is the same way. Kris Kramski shoots quite a bit on film, and although Im not sure if he shot this on film or not, it has the same style.

(Maybe its of appearing in the films.) These films vary in quality, but none are very good. Some, like this one, are pretty bad. Review brief: Help me out, will you? Ive got this great idea for a porn film. See, this chick gets conked on the head andandwhats that? Then we string a bunch of sex scenes together? Thats brilliant. Dont worry, Ill share the story credit with you. Porn really doesnt need to contribute to its own stereotype, does it? Yet I think the conversation between Barry Wood and Sindee Coxx regarding the Private release Your Time Is Up must have gone substantially like this, except that their chick (played by Jenna Haze) doesnt take a blow to her head, she takes a john to a motel room. Other than that, its identical, and the credits dutifully record Barry and Sindees cadaverously thin story collaboration. My guess is that because they managed to work the title into the dialogue at the end of the movie, Barry and Sindee thought they had a story.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who likes heavy artistic styles used in porn and the stars Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who thinks art and porn shouldnt go together Audio /Video Quality: The artistic feel of the movie doesnt spare the audio. Some of the sexual sounds are dubbed or taken out in favor of bringing the music forward more, but there are still many of the true sex sounds left in. The video is the same way. Kris Kramski shoots quite a bit on film, and although Im not sure if he shot this on film or not, it has the same style.

Review brief: There seem to be a whole series of these films being cranked out by Inferno and others which feature young twinks masquerading as cops banging other young twinks who are apparently guilty of something. (Maybe its of appearing in the films.) These films vary in quality, but none are very good. Some, like this one, are pretty bad. We open with a duo we have seen beforea cute young slender brunet and a bleached blond with pierced nipples and a bit of baby fat. The blond is always the cop. He asks to see if there are drugs in the brunets backpack. Instead he finds gay porno films. The cop is on the kid before you can say the word Miranda. They fuck bareback (I believe they are lovers) but the effect of this is lost due to poor camerawork. Choppy editing and a bit of looping further mar the scene. It looks like it might get into something interesting when the young blond lubes the cuties ass and the nightstick, but we cut away before he inserts it and its "déjà vu all over again". Blondie cums and Cutie does not.

Review brief: I am told that in the old days, writers would say to the studio heads, What do you want? A musical? Or something with a plot? I guess the same can be applied now to porn with a slight variation: What do you want hot sex, or something with a plot? Of course its always nice to have both, but give me a good tune, or some great sex. In STRICTLY YOUNG Chi Chi LaRue dispenses with plot, but gives us some truly great sex. A group of giggling twinks is sitting around to introduce the scenes with only one or two set-up lines. Its the most clichéd of all porn gimmicks, but you wont care. The first of these younguns to get it on are blond Trey Alimore and the present love-of-my-life Trent Austin (who also has performed using the name Diabut whats in a name?) This twink has an adorable smile and always seems so fucking happy. (That can also read so happy fucking.) They suck one another before Trey gets to eat and bang that cute butt. Trey then sits on Trents stiffy. These guys are just having so much fun that you will, too. Next up (literally) we have Jason Hawke and Fitch Abel.

The only real disappointment here is that this feature recycled at least two scenes that were included on the previous discs. Even so, the rarity, quality, and general appeal of this kind of collection certainly outweighs its shortcomings. The bottom line: Short scenes, but a great compilation of female orgasms.
