Initial Expectations: I wasn’t at all impressed with British and Barely 18 #1, and I’m not expecting much more here.

Initial Reaction: There’s a couple good scenes here, but most of it’s easily skipped.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants to see that the women are really enjoying sex

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is balanced pretty well, but there are a few minor distractions throughout the feature. The video is very clear, and nicely mixes black and white and color.

Music: The music rests softly in the background of the movie, and at times is so quiet that you barely even know it’s there.

Disc Problems / Complaints: There’s no time stamp for the feature. As I’ve said numerous times in the past, this always ticks me off and makes the DVD feel cheap to me. Without a time stamp you can’t navigate around the movie easily, and on many players, if you stop the DVD and then restart it later it won’t go back to the place you left it.

False Advertising: The cover states that there’s group sex here, but none to be found in this feature.

Menus: The main menu has some okay animation blended with clips from the movie. The chapter menu nicely lets you choose a scene based on the name of the girl in each scene and a still photo.

The Feature: British and Barely 18 shows that Ed Powers influence has spread across the ocean. Each scene has a very brief lead-in, and the scenes are broken apart by interviews with the girl in the scene. As soon as the scene is done, things quickly cut out and go on to the next scene. Unlike most sequels, the entire cast of the first episode is back, along with a new guy.

Donna Marie starts things out playing with herself on a couch. She starts with her fingers before moving up to a dildo and working her pussy over in a few positions. It’s a pretty good masturbation scene that Donna gets into nicely. She trash talks through most of it, but doesn’t seem to force it at all. It’s a nice start to the movie.

Karla St. James starts things off with an unnamed white guy kissing his way across and down her great body. He gives her bald beaver a little attention before letting Karla work her lips around his cock. They move on to fuck doggie and missionary style before Karla collects the guy’s cock cream on her stomach. It’s an okay scene that I couldn’t get into to much. Karla often seems like she’s faking it, and often looks offscreen and smiles as if somebody’s telling her jokes from over there. It’s distracting and held back the scene for me.

Ashley, a cute blonde, gets busy with the black guy from the first episode. She gives him some energetic head before letting him fuck her in a couple of the common positions. Finally, Ashley takes an okay facial before licking up what’s left. Although Ashley does a great job, the camera work comes close to ruining it. I’m not sure her face is ever shown while she’s fucking, with the cameraman preferring to focus on the guy’s ass when they’re in missionary and chopping off her head when she rides him reverse cowgirl style. If it weren’t for the oral portion of this scene, it would have been completely worthless.

Brunette Maxine, who looks like she’s never had a razor between her legs in her entire life, shows up next. She starts masturbating with her clothes on, and they gradually disappear as she vigorously works herself over. She talks about wanting to fuck a black man since she’s never done that before, but that’s exactly what she did in British and Barely 18 #1. She starts out with her fingers and then moves on to a largish black dildo. Maxine gets into it all very good, and puts a great amount of energy into it all.

Fran Lord, a cute dishwater blonde, takes on Karla St. James in her scene. Fran looks like she wants some gentle play, but Karla pushes her back so she can eat Fran out. They move on with their fingers and a couple toys before the scene cuts out almost as if they ran out of video tape. This scene didn’t seem anything close to finished, and was just picking up a little momentum when it cut out. Sadly, that one leaves this scene almost worthless. Fran has a very new feel to her here, while Karla is cold and businesslike. I had the feeling that Fran wanted to take things slow and easy, but Fran just wanted to get things over, collect her check, and get out of there. It’s not a good feeling for a scene.

Teona, a decent looking blonde with a very nice rack, lets her fingers do the walking in her scene before breaking out a dildo. She starts on her pussy, works up to a little anal, and then DP’s herself with a pair of toys. Once again, the camera work darn near ruined this scene by focusing on close-ups and angles that barely allowed you to see anything.

Karina, a very cute dirty blonde with great eyes, gets it on with Maxine in her scene. Maxine quickly dives into Karina’s cunt before letting Karina return the favor with a dildo. Fran gets a little toy time as well, first letting Maxine fuck her pussy, then play with and tongue her ass, and finally taking a double penetration. The girls finish things up sixty-nining so they can fuck each other one last time. Once again the scene ends without feeling fully complete, but at least this time it feels close. Fran and Maxine turn in a great scene here that’s easily the best in the feature. They’re obviously into it and the camera work, although still far from perfect, at least lets you see a few of their reactions as they’re being done. Hopefully we see a lot more of Karina in the future!

Cloe, a cute big tittied bleached blonde, works herself over with a dildo for her scene. Cloe does a good job working herself over, but I didn’t see anything that really separated it from all the other masturbation scenes out there. I can’t help but think that if this was the only masturbation scene rather than one of many, that I would have enjoyed it much more. My problem here is much more with flooding the DVD with masturbation scenes than Cloe’s job, which was pretty darn good.

Bonny Heart helms the penultimate scene, and takes on the black guy (I’d love to let you know who he is, but I haven’t a clue and there’s no credits in the movie). They work each other over orally before Bonny takes it in each of her holes and shows off a bit of hang time. Finally, she sucks him to a decent facial. It’s a pretty typical scene for this feature, which means that it’s got a ways to go. You get one camera angle throughout all the fucking, and that’s from behind focusing as much on the guy’s ass as Bonny’s. She sounds like she’s into it, but not being able to see pretty much ruined the scene for me.

Amber, a bleached blonde who looks several years past eighteen, works herself over with her fingers and a dildo. It’s a pretty typical scene and didn’t impress me much one way or the other.

British and Barely 18 #2 is a slight improvement over its predecessor, but still has plenty of problems. The first problem that caught my eye was that there isn’t a single girl here who wasn’t in the first part. Also, a lot of the non-sex portions of the feature looked to have been repeated from British and Barely 18 #1. Something similar is fine, but repeated just makes me think that Phil Barry is unoriginal and very limited in talent. That thought is reinforced by the camera work in the feature, which is the bigger problem. It focuses on close-ups and odd angles so much that it’s not uncommon for a girl’s head to be chopped off several times in her scene or to not even see her reaction to getting fucked due to the angle. The final problem is the structuring of the DVD. I have nothing against interviews with the stars, in fact, I really love watching interviews with stars. Unfortunately, here they’re spliced into the scenes so that almost every time there’s a cut between different angles or actions, the scene completely stops and instead you get part of the interview. This kills the heat at least partially in every scene! Also, there’s barely any variety to the scenes, which makes the feature feel extremely repetitive by the end. On the plus side, some of the girls really get into things nicely. Karina is easily at the top of the pack, and is nicely paired with Maxine who gets into things almost as much. Cloe and Donna Marie also turn in enjoyable masturbation scenes. British and Barely 18 #2 has a couple good scenes, but isn’t anything to rush out and even rent.

Overall: Currently, Union Jaxxx DVDs can be found online in the $15 to $20 range. If you’re a fan of female masturbation, this one will probably be worth your money, but others might want to try and rent it first. There’s some okay sex here, but the camera work holds it back a lot. There aren’t any extras, but the technical aspects are nicely done.

Note to Union Jaxxx: I don’t have much of a problem with you trying to keep a similar feel between episodes of a series, but I don’t think anybody likes watching recycled material in each scene. Also, a time stamp and a couple extras would really help things out, as would watching your cover claims.
