Review brief: This is going to be very brief as it's difficult to get motivated about a film like this. SCENE 1. Aimee Tyler Worthless scene. I've seen Aimee in a few films and she NEVER looks interested, actually screw that she looks bored. makes you wonder why she even shows up. Oral, vag. & some badly shot anal make this a poor scene that ends with a cumshot to her chest. DUD SCENE 2. Avy Scott & Luxie Not being a fan of g/g I wasn't looking forward to this scene. Though Avy Scott does have an incredible wrack and is pretty hot Luxie isn't upto much looks-wise. Both nailed each other with a strap-on. Review brief: Description This feature has a lame story about a student at an art institute. General Impression The sex in this movie is okay, but not outstanding. It's a bit better if you skip to the sex, avoiding the plot, and keep the sound low. The dvd is somewhat redeemed by the bonus scenes. This is the world's strangest art institute. It's extremely upscale, and yet the easels are flimsy and cheap. All the female students are slim babes, and although the men wear what they like, the females have a uniform that includes a mini-skirt slit up the front to the crotch. Oh, yeah, and the art is just a step above stick-figures. You won't like the fake, wooden, lofty dialogue, either. Sex The first scene features Sondra Hall with Julian. He handles her fake tits before they expose each other's unfortunate tattoos. A big, nice dick, but the stupid sun tattoo above it is pretty distracting. Review brief: Terri Hall......as Joanna Jamie Gillis....as Jason Zebedy Colt.....as Griffin Juliet Graham...as Gina "The Story of Joanna" from 1975 has the most highly developed storyline of any porn film I have seen. I don't want to give to much of it away, but it involves Jamie Gillis being a millionaire who picks up this woman and sets about degrading her for a special purpose he has for her later in the movie. The degredation of her though is very central to the plot of the movie and after what I had read of how this was one of the rougher movies of the 70's I was surprised by how tame it was. The acting in this movie is top notch, I have not seen a porn film with acting equal to this one. The music is excellent and the sets are beautiful. The audio and video on the dvd for this movie are not that good though, about equal to some of the classics VCX puts out on dvd.

Review brief: Expectations Private has released a number of compilation DVDs in the last few years. These draw upon the vast library of scenes in the Private vault. Most of these DVDs have been solid, even if they are not spectacular. The one exception is the "Private Life" series which has been spectacular. Private's latest marketing ploy is to collect up several of their prior DVDs and to bundle them together as a superpack. Capsule Review I recently reviewed the Private/Penthouse box set and I was thrilled. The care they put into that re-package was obvious. Unfortunately, they do not seem to value all of their re-releases equally. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing flawed about this release. It's just that there is nothing special either. In effect, they have taken three of their Anal compilation DVDs - Anal Toppers, Anal Introductions, and Pure Anal - packaged them in a 4 DVD case with their Sampler 6, and covered it with a new picture. That's it. No booklet. No special features.

Review brief: Expectations I'm not quite sure what I expect. This DVD is billed as interactive, yet it has a "play movie" option. I guess we'll wait and see what they mean by interactive. Capsule Review OK, now I see. This is basically half movie, half interactive. The movie is a typical VCA feature, and the interactive is kind of like a "My Plaything Lite". An interesting combo, but I would have appreciated all interactive instead of this hybrid. Tawny Roberts is a hottie and deserves her own interactive title. Technical The sounds and visuals are excellent. Director Wit Maverick Extras The extras are the interactive stuff. Also, trailers and bios. Target Audience Feature fans, interactive fans Scene Review Scene 1 - Dayton Dayton plays a cat burglar sneaking around a mansion at night in fishnets and boots. Review brief: Expectations I have generally liked Digital Sin's releases. They tend to be targeted to a particular fetish, and then they stick to that target very well. Review brief: Expectations I haven't watched many of the JM DVDs, but this one caught my eye. I love DPs and Aurora Snow has become one of my favs, so I'm hoping that this disc really pans out. Capsule Review This is not a bad movie. If you enjoy straightforward, no frills gonzo, you will probably enjoy this DVD. The Aurora Snow scene is very hot. Technical While there is nothing fancy here, the video and lighting are adequate and the sound is good. The set is a large mansion that is attractive. The girls are reasonably well groomed. Review brief: When I purchased a package from Titan Studios, I actually received a 2 DVD set of previews from their collection. It's basically a promotional tool to get me to buy more from them and boy did it work! The Hardcore Portfolio ends up clocking in at over 3 and a half hours and spans through every realm of what Titan has to offer. Disc One This disc is mostly just all the previews. Each preview clocks in at around 4 minutes long and gives you full detail of exactly how the film is going to be without actually spoiling the whole picture. Any of the bonus features (as advertised on the cardboard slipcase the discs come in) are on disc 2. Basically, the way Titan works it's hardcore previews, is we're shown a scrolling credit for each actor along with various scenes from the film where the actor would star in. The company rarely disappoints so you're sure to want to write a few down after you see the extended previews.

Review brief: Sex on Film tells the story of film student Joel Lawrence who, thanks to girlfriend Jenna Haze, snaps to the bright idea of making a porn movie for his thesis project. And not just any porn movie, eitherevery porn movie. His script (its one of those deal-with-the-devil stories) is so generic that if it had been seen in Repo Man it would have had a white cover sheet with Porn Script written across it in big black block lettering. On his way to an F for originality, writer/director Brad Armstrong burns up most of Joels story with another porno convention, the talent search. I dont suppose any of this would be anything more serious than another wasted opportunity except that in this case the sex is as uninspiring as the storyline. The sex isnt bad, its conventional. Well-produced, crisp and clear, but typical American porn fare just the same; another sad case of a director failing to grasp the pointlessness of grafting narrative onto a sex film without a meaningful attempt at integrating the two.

The lighting is always adequate, but sometimes rather harsh and uneven. The camera operators eschew proctocam close-ups, instead providing teasing glimpses from just enough angles to confirm that the anal penetration is authentic. The balance of wide, medium and close-up shots is generally pleasing.

Review brief: Expectations Private has released a number of compilation DVDs in the last few years. These draw upon the vast library of scenes in the Private vault. Most of these DVDs have been solid, even if they are not spectacular. The one exception is the "Private Life" series which has been spectacular. Private's latest marketing ploy is to collect up several of their prior DVDs and to bundle them together as a superpack. Capsule Review I recently reviewed the Private/Penthouse box set and I was thrilled. The care they put into that re-package was obvious. Unfortunately, they do not seem to value all of their re-releases equally. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing flawed about this release. It's just that there is nothing special either. In effect, they have taken three of their Anal compilation DVDs - Anal Toppers, Anal Introductions, and Pure Anal - packaged them in a 4 DVD case with their Sampler 6, and covered it with a new picture. That's it. No booklet. No special features.

Review brief: When I purchased a package from Titan Studios, I actually received a 2 DVD set of previews from their collection. It's basically a promotional tool to get me to buy more from them and boy did it work! The Hardcore Portfolio ends up clocking in at over 3 and a half hours and spans through every realm of what Titan has to offer. Disc One This disc is mostly just all the previews. Each preview clocks in at around 4 minutes long and gives you full detail of exactly how the film is going to be without actually spoiling the whole picture. Any of the bonus features (as advertised on the cardboard slipcase the discs come in) are on disc 2. Basically, the way Titan works it's hardcore previews, is we're shown a scrolling credit for each actor along with various scenes from the film where the actor would star in. The company rarely disappoints so you're sure to want to write a few down after you see the extended previews.

The camera operators eschew proctocam close-ups, instead providing teasing glimpses from just enough angles to confirm that the anal penetration is authentic. The balance of wide, medium and close-up shots is generally pleasing.

Review brief: Triple X Files #2 This is older Private film released about one year ago on dvd. All scenes were filmed in year 1997, only still very young Nikki Anderson was in 1996. This means we still have quite a few pussy hair, but view is most time ok. It is mixed potential film with 3 dps, but also 3 mini-features without anal. Girls as always with Private are all quite attractive. Each scene has its own small story. Girls have no tattoos and no piercings. In this film we get 6 Hungarian girls, of which both W/Vandas. When we start the film itself however, up pops the word montage and a definition of same. Then we have a montage as images flow rapidly, lapping over one another in double-exposure. When the montage stops we find a naked Trent Austin blowing the muscular Brad Rock. Now Trent Austin is my favorite twink. The audio is clear and well balanced, as is the video. There arent any great feats of animation here, but for Japanese anime, it looks about as good as Ive seen it. Music: The music is about the same as what you hear on Japanese cartoons today, or at least it sounded about like what I heard in the thirty seconds of Pokemon I once endured. Its nicely balanced with the rest of the audio, and fits the cartoon feel very well. Menus: The menus are animated with the same feel as the movie.
