Black Lace & White Lies is a Marc Dorcel movie. That speaks volumes on its own. Wicked distributes the Marc Dorcel line here in the US, but in my opinion they do not do an adequate job of promoting these films. Marc Dorcel films are truly beautiful porn, but they remain true to their roots and do a good job of providing whack material. What a combo! Needless to say, I have high hopes for this film. Synopsis Dorcel films generally have plots. That's the bad news (any of my readers know what I think of porno plots). But they almost never get in the way of the eroticism, and that's the good news. Black Lace is no exception. Alain Payet does a masterful job of combining beautiful ladies with exotic locations to produce this film. This DVD is as good as any he has done, and that's saying a mouthful. I hereby present this DVD with aybesea's Whackmeister Seal of Approval! Technical This DVD is technically excellent. The other girls are pretty average looking, and would probably look even worse if not for some high quality (for porn films at least) camera work and makeup. Also, Asian Shan is pretty hot. The locale and scenery are definitely above average for a porn film. On the other hand, the sex is pretty typical, with the director making sure (usually) to get the requisite oral/vaginal/anal/cumshot in. The ladies are lovely, the sets and wardrobes are super and the technicals are outstanding. What's not to like? Technical As is true for virtually all of the Dorcel releases, the video, audio, and lighting are wonderful. This is a little older than some of the releases and so I have judged it accordingly. Also, the original French soundtrack is available, so you don't need to do the Private dubbed audio thing here (although an English soundtrack is available as well if you prefer). WHEN ROCCO MEATS KELLY 2 is the highly praised sequel to the modern mainstream classic, WHEN HARRY MET SALLY. Just a joke, folks. Actually, this title from Evil Angel may be somewhat tortuously named [only Rocco Siffredi Productions could use the word "meat" as a verb!], but is entirely appropriate for a movie starring one of the most recognized male performers in porn history. However, let me be perfectly honest...I prefer Rocco's work under the creative direction from superior directors like John Stagliano and Andrew Blake. In what very well may be the set of blue movies of all time, FACEDANCE 1 and 2, Stagliano showcased his Euro stud's enviable talents with some very hot and superbly staged sex scenes (including the anal stunner with Chrissy Ann and the wildly choreographed "blindfold orgy"). Likewise, in SECRETS and HOUSE OF DREAMS, Blake captured the incredible beauty of Zara Whites and Raven in heatedly athletic sex scenes which never lost the trademark artistic beauty for which this director is known.
