Every time I think I've seen the extent of EA's collective ability, I find yet another title that pushes the envelope. This DVD could be yet another. Second, it is a John Leslie film and that generally means very good, hardcore sex with a definite twist on the side. Capsule Review Yep, it's a Leslie film. Very good, straightforward, hardcore sex with good looking ladies. Yes it has that quirky twist to it that makes it his. A little dark, a little perverted. The picture, cinematography, and sound quality were excellent. All of the babes were excellent looking. DIRECTOR: Mike John (2001). DURATION: ~140 minutes. STARRING: Angel, Gauge, Kimberly, Miko Lee, Monica Sweetheart, Sharon, Shyla & Victoria Style, with Erik Everhard & Mike John. A Perverted Point Of View 3 takes a simple idea and executes it impressively. In essence, each scene is filmed from the perspective of the sole male performer (Mike John in five scenes, Erik Everhard in the remaining three), which is intended to make the viewer feel more involved with the scene and to facilitate the fantasy of being in the action, rather than just watching it. I love the POV style and this production practises it expertly, with Mike John and Everhard showing themselves as considerable performers and cameramen (human tripod is the appropriate term). Some of the dialogue is hard to understand due to the levels changing slightly throughout the movie. The video shows some slight grain, almost as if it were shot on film. The lighting varies throughout the movie, which gives it a slightly artistic feeling at times and at other times it makes it seem like the budget wasnt quite high enough. Produced by Sam Norvell and directed by Robert McCallum, it features 70s porn superstar Annette Haven, along with John Leslie, Harry Reems, R. Bolla, and Hershel Savage. It also features "Angel" who was breifly the rage during the mid-1980s. She does a scene with Leslie and another with R. Bolla. My favorite performer is the under-celebrated Janey Robbins. She had a great body and was a very enthusiastic sex performer. Robbins also has a cute Minnesota accent (like the female sheriff in "Fargo"). Here, she does two scenes, one with R.
