Initial Reaction: There’s some good heat and hot sex, but the camera work and technical aspects don’t let it get too hot.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects leave a bit to be desired. The audio is surprisingly good. It’s well balanced and there isn’t much for background noises. The problem comes in with the video. It’s dark, which isn’t all bad because it fits 90% of the movie. It’s also extremely grainy, even when the scenes are taking place in a light area. I know this is an older movie, but it looks as if it’s from the early nineties rather than the late nineties.

Music: None

Menus: The menus are very basic. The main menu is unanimated and doesn’t give the best first impression. The chapter menu lets you choose a chapter based on a chapter number and a small clip of each chapter.

The Feature

Nasty Filthy Cab Rides 2 follows three different cabbies and their fares. They talk back and forth, and somehow things always turn to sex. Sometimes it’s a passenger looking for sex, sometimes it’s passengers getting busy, and sometimes the sex just seems to come naturally.

Scene 1 - Dru Berrymore and Angel

After talking back and forth about sex and her piece of crap boyfriend, Dru gives Angel the cabbie a look at her tits. She has him pull over so that she give him a better show, and then takes him to a room where they can get it on. They strip down and kiss before Dru makes her way down to completely work her partner over. She sucks his cock, licks his balls, and even tongues his ass before he has her bend over on the couch so that he can tongue her holes and finger her pussy. Dru has Angel fuck her from behind and call her names before letting him spoon her. They finish things up with a bit of missionary and Dru taking a nice facial.

This is a good scene which should have been great. Dru and Angel have great banter back and forth that builds to great chemistry. They have great energy and play off each other extremely well through the entire scene. The only thing that holds it back is the camera work, which was problematic the entire time. I think there’s more obstructed views here than good ones, and it left me wanting a different view almost constantly. Even with the problems, this is the best scene in the movie.

Scene 2 - Tina Tyler and Tavia

Tavia and Tina get it on in the back of a cab while the cabbie and another guy watches. Tavia starts out eating Tina’s ass and then lets the other guy play with her tits a little while Tina goes down on her. The cabbie finally pulls over and the other guy gets out so that Tina can go down on Tavia decently. Tina tongues Tavia and then breaks out a dildo to fuck her before they move outside the car. Tina bends over the hood for Tavia to tongue her holes a bit more before fucking her with a strap-on. She keeps fucking Tina until they both look to be satisfied, and then kiss as the camera fades out.

Once again, with the exception of much of the camera work, this is a pretty hot scene. Tina and Tavia have great chemistry together and seem to have a lot of fun with the scene. The cabbie’s a bit annoying, but goes a long way in setting the stage for the scene. It’s a bit odd how he disappears once the real action starts, but the other guy sticking around does add a bit to the scene. This is an above average scene that could have been better with better camera work.

Scene 3 - Nancy Vee, Matt Jade, and Yongky

Matt’s looking for love, and cabbie Yongky knows just where to take him. They pick up Nancy from a streetcorner. She starts to suck him as they drive down the street, and Nancy even teases the cabbie a bit when she takes a break. They head to a garage so they can have a bit of privacy and sixty-nine before Matt gives her a good oral going over. Nancy bends over the hood for Matt to bone her before laying back for some more. Finally, Nancy takes a decent facial to finish things up.

This is another decent scene. Nancy plays the dirty whore very well, and adds plenty of vocals. I don’t care much for the slut / whore talk, but she seems to get into it and makes it work for the scene. As usual the camera work lacks, and you rarely get to see both the penetration and Nancy’s reaction.

Nasty Filthy Cab Rides 2 gives you about what you’d expect. The setups revolve around cabs and people who seem overly horny or desperate. The girls here all do a great job, and even managed to keep me interested in the scenes when they started into the dirty whore / slut talk which normally throws me out of a scene. They have great banter with the cabbies and other guys, and manage to give all of the scenes a very nice start. The problem here is the camera work. It all seems very juvenile and had me wanting a slightly different camera angle almost continuously. It’s rare to see both the penetration and the girl’s reaction, and I found myself doubting if the couples were really fucking several times. Nasty Filthy Cab Rides 2 will probably give you what you want if you’re interested in it, but don’t go in with too high of expectations.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Digital Playground DVDs can be found online for between about $12 and $28 with many stores offering them for around $20. This one’s normally at the low end, and that’s just where it should be. The sex is okay, but the camera work normally leaves much to be desired. The technical aspects are also lacking and there’s nothing worth mentioning for extras.

Note to Digital Playground: It’s good to see you keeping some of your older lesser titles like this at a low price.
