Initial Expectations: John Leslie normally impresses the heck out of me, and this cast only gives me higher expectations!

Initial Reaction: Although it wasn’t quite up to what I was expecting, it was still pretty darn good!

Audio /Video Quality: Fresh Meat is John Leslie’s more artistic series, and as such he occasionally mixes things up with the technical aspects. The audio is normally well balanced, but there are sometimes background noises. Unlike most movies, the background noises that are left in normally help the scenes rather than detracting from them. The lighting varies a little throughout the movie, but is frequently just a little on the low side. The video varies much the same way. There’s also a bit of natural light used, but it rarely bleaches out colors or creates an overabundance of shadows. The picture has a bit of grain in many of the scenes, which also adds to the artistic feel. The feature isn’t shot on film, but the grain is added later to approximate it.

Music: There’s very little music to the feature, but what there is rests very nicely in the background.

Menus: As usual, Evil Angel has put some very nice care into their menus which turns simple and easy into a very good thing. The main menu has just enough animation to make a good first impression. That impression is continued with a chapter menu that lets you choose a jumping in point based on a small clip of the scene and the name of the ladies in the scene and a fetish menu that lets you jump directly to sex acts such as blowjobs, sixty-nine, or cumshots.

The Feature: Fresh Meat is John Leslie’s artistic series. Although one might think so from the title, the normally don’t seem to have anything to do with either new talent or mistreating women as if they were a piece of meat. In fact, there doesn’t seem to be anything to connect any of the scenes outside of some of the artistic style.

Taylor St. Clair and Friday start things out taking on Lexington Steele and Pat Myne. They start right out with risking disease doing dangerous unprotected stuff, namely putting on the rented bowling shoes without any socks. Pat licks each girl’s ass for good luck as they bowl while Lex captures some of it on his digital video camera. After everybody disappears, Friday takes Pat into her throat while Taylor follow suit with Lex’s big black boner. Friday also titty fucks Pat a little before they all get on to the real action. Friday and Taylor stick with their men, who start out sticking their pussy with Taylor taking it missionary style and Friday taking it from behind. Lex steps off to get behind the camera, leaving Pat to get a little of Taylor while Friday watches and sucks his cock. Friday moves things into anal, and has Pat devastate her ass reverse cowgirl style. Taylor takes her turn, letting Pat ream her rear from behind while Friday lets Lex have a poke. Finally, Lex lets go with an impressive ball blast that doesn’t quite back Friday’s face, while Taylor works Pat to a fairly disappointing facial.

This scene wasn’t quite what I hoped for, yet still darn good. With these two girls I had hoped for one if not two double penetrations, and that never happened. There was, however, some darn hot sex with nice chemistry. I was a bit thrown by Lex’s moving between being in front of and behind the camera, which hurt the heat of the scene for me. It is handled nicely, as the girls take turns stepping out and watching also and always look like they’re having a great time, but this didn’t quite make it past ‘very good’ for me. The best thing here is Friday and the ferocity of Pat’s anal pounding he gives her in reverse cowgirl. I almost felt uncomfortable watching it sitting down!

In the second scene, Angel, a nice looking dirty blonde with a great natural body, takes on Pascal St. James and Carlos. Angel starts out showing off briefly before going to the bathroom, and then gets dressed in a nice dress. She heads into the next room where Carlos is laying on the table naked and stroking himself. She gives him a hand, as well as a mouth, as she slowly makes her way out of her dress. They’re joined by Pascal, who also gets a little head before playing with Angel a little to get her warmed up. Angel takes a dick at each end, starting with one in her pussy and then letting Pascal put it where the sun don’t shine, all while making sure that Carlos gets plenty of head. It pays off for Carlos in the end, as he finally gets to fuck her ass before Angel takes an impressive facial from each of them.

This is a nicely done scene that keeps a soft feel despite some definitely hard sex. There’s a tenderness and lovingness that seems to permeate this scene, that I think is felt partially because of the slower pace of the scene and partially because Angel seems very subdued as a performer. She takes each guy in each of her holes with great ease, as well as sucking the other as she’s getting nailed, and makes just enough sound that you know she’s getting into it nicely. This scene has a completely different feel than the opening scene, but is done every bit as well.

Cindy takes on boxer Mark Ashley in the third scene. She enters the boxing ring where he’s working over a bag, looking absolutely fucking amazing in a skintight black zigzag bodysuit with a red thong and red fuck-me pumps, and as she crawls up to him on all fours things cut forward to Cindy working his shaft over with her mouth. She continues to work him over orally as he licks her pussy and fingers both her holes before letting Mark spoon her snatch. He slowly fucks her against the ropes before letting her have a little control and take it in her ass as well as her pussy cowgirl style and her ass reverse cowgirl style. Finally, Cindy gets down and takes a nice taste of Mark’s man milk.

As usual, it’s a nicely done scene. Cindy has such a sultry look that she almost had me creaming my jeans before she even got down on her knees to start Mark off. She gets into the scene very nicely as it goes on, and never misses a beat no matter which hole Mark has his meat in. The camera work is very friendly here, and keeps things fairly normal while still making sure it captures everything that’s happening. This is a very nice scene!

Kaylynn and Katie Morgan share Mario in the penultimate scene. Katie starts things off just right in a vinyl nurses outfit, and is nicely met by Kaylynn’s vinyl french maid’s outfit with holes cut into it for her cheeks to breathe. The girls help each other show off a little before taking on Mario orally. After everybody’s ready, Katie takes the first fuck, with Kaylynn taking a long ride afterwards while Katie watches and sits on Mario’s face so they can both eat a hole. The girls get a little more action against a staircase railing before Kaylynn’s sphincter is speared while Katie watches and takes care of herself. Kaylynn also takes a nice reverse cowgirl anal ride before teaming up for a double facial with Katie wanting to rub it around her face while Kaylynn wants to lick and suck up every drop of guy goo she can. They try to swap a little of it, but Mario doesn’t look like he gives them enough to work with.

This scene leaves me with mixed emotions. It’s a good scene, but not at all what I was hoping for. I wanted a decent balance between the two girls, and instead the large majority of the scene focuses on Kaylynn. Katie rarely gets any good close-ups like Kaylynn does, and at times even seems a bit forgotten. On the other hand, Kaylynn does an amazing job here! She starts off slightly playful and ends up getting into the scene one hundred and ten percent with an ass pounding that’s almost as intense as the one Friday takes from Pat in the opening scene. In the end I can’t complain much about the opening scene other than to say that it’s quite a bit different than what I was expecting in the scene.

Suzanne takes on grease monkeys Leslie Taylor and Sebastian Barrio in the final scene. She checks in on them as they fix her car before going into their office and diddling herself a little. They argue about the bill a little after the guys finish up on the car, and soon come to a deal they can agree on (especially in the wonderful world of porn). They kiss and grope each other before Suzanne drops down to check their dipsticks, and thankfully not sticking them in each other’s well. They jump in the back of her minivan so she can fuck one and suck the other on the comfort of carpet. Sebastian gets the first fuck cowgirl style, with Leslie taking the mandatory reverse cowgirl and Sebastian finishing things up spooning Suzanne. Finally, Sebastian pulls out and pops on Suzanne’s bush and Leslie spraying his man chowder onto her face.

Although a slightly shorter scene, it’s also a very likeable scene. Suzanne takes on the guys with grace and ease, and surprisingly doesn’t take it in the can. This is the most mainstream friendly scene in the movie, and doesn’t get nearly as artistic as the other scenes. There’s some nice chemistry and energy between the performers, and it all works to bring the movie to a very comfortable end.

Fresh Meat 15 does a great job of showing John Leslie’s artistic side. There’s plenty of different camera angles, as well as lighting styles that you rarely see elsewhere. Unlike most other directors, he’s able to do all that without hurting the heat of the scenes much, if at all. Virtually every scene is a winner here, and John balances the teases very nicely with the actual sex. He also brings a nice variety of sex styles into the movie, going from hard and heavy group anal sex to start the movie to a fairly soft vaginal only closing scene. Due to the artistic styles here, Fresh Meat 15 probably won’t work good as whacking material for some people, but there are very few directors who can blend art and sex as well as John Leslie. Fresh Meat 15, although not perfect, does do a great job of showing it.

The nearly twenty nine minutes of extra footage is presented very nicely on a menu that lets you jump directly to the extra footage for whatever scene you want to watch. As usual with Leslie’s extra footage, John’s comments aren’t edited out. This gives the extra footage a bit of a behind the scenes feeling, and also lets you know just what John’s going for at times. Although some of the footage feels completely new, much of it feels very similar to what’s in the movie, and gave me a feeling that it was cut to keep things moving. Unlike the extra footage you find out there for many companies, the footage here isn’t all cut up into little chunks. You get cuts that normally last a couple minutes and flow nicely. It’s a very nice collection of extra footage that should please people wanting extra wanking material as well as those curious about the behind the scenes working of the movie.

Overall: Currently, most Evil Angel DVDs can be found online for between $18 and $28 with many stores offering them for around $20. By now you shouldn’t even wonder if this one is worth the money! Of course it is! There’s hot sex, nicely done technical aspects, and some great extras. It’s an Evil Angel DVD!
