Penny has been known for her great acting skills, based on some award winning titles with New Sensations. That continues with this one as well, and I can't forget about Bridgette too, who has been making some great impressions on me these last few reviews she's been in. Flesh Gordon is a softcore parody of Flash Gordon, which combines the right level of camp, cheesy special effects, and ambition behind it to be a fun film, even though the originally conceived hardcore version was never to be. Fans of hardcore films from the 70s should find a lot of fun here, while also trying to find the blue screen actors and actresses from the era in the film hiding in the remaining close to hardcore footage. Hen's Tooth Video has done a decent job with their Blu-ray release of Flesh Gordon. The picture exhibits some heavy grain, and the colors appear to be overly muted in places however, this is likely the best the film will ever look for the home video market. [read the full review]

This Ricky Greenwood directed feature includes some of the best acting performances of 2019, especially considering the cast that includes powerhouse acting and sexual performances from Lena Paul, Charlotte Stokely, Magdalene St. Michaels, Mona Wales and Nina Hartley. The sex scenes are strong, the story compelling enough to keep your hands off the remote and not too much in the way of it being too sac-religious. I'll be focusing on the sex in the remainder of the review but I will conclude by saying Confessions Of A Sinful Nun 2 is currently the strongest title to be the favorite to win multiple feature film and acting awards. We don't often see porn as art. Here's a great example of what that looks like. We tend to think of porn in terms of its value as stroke material. This movie doesn't fit that model. To paraphrase Terry Pratchett the difference between art and smut is that you can put art on a plinth or in a frame. This one belongs in the art category. Is it strokable? Yes. And it's always nice when I get to check out a studio I don't get to review normally, and I have been looking forward to watching/reviewing more from MissaX in the future. And I really enjoyed the nominated scene between Ivy and Zac, pretty sure I had it towards the top of my vote ranking for that category. Some incredible chemistry and heat between these two, on par with some of the great stuff you would expect from New Sensations and others. They all had some great chemistry and heat, but there was a little something extra between Ivy and Zac that will melt your TV.
