A Sex Worker's Story is a short film from director Marcus Quillan, who also wrote the short film with the assistance of star Viktoria Vaar. Marcus Quillan has added portions of stories from friends of his who are sex workers into the story for A Sex Worker's Story. The result of this bouillabaisse of creative input to the story is a fantastic short film that brings to life a day of a sex worker.

In A Sex Worker's Story, a sex worker (Viktoria Vaar) tells a friend of hers about her week. She talks about her first three clients of the week (unknown, Marc Kaye, and Marcus Quillan) before getting to her favorite client of the week. The focus of the short film is the fourth client (Rooster) of the week, which takes up the bulk of the movie and has the only sex scene presented in the short film.

The cast is absolutely fantastic, especially the two leads. Rooster is an incredibly underrated performer. They have shined in every movie that this reviewer has seen them in and A Sex Worker's Story continues the streak. Rooster's performance in A Sex Worker's Story is entirely believable. They give the viewer the impression of an unsure client on their first visit to a sex worker. Viktoria Vaar is also perfect in her role as the sex worker. She brings humanity to a role that is so often, unfortunately, lacking any humanity.

The sex scene is charming and tender. Rooster and Viktoria Vaar have a beautiful lovemaking session that doesn't at all resemble “porno” sex. Instead, Rooster has all the trepidation and awkwardness that one would expect from the character and Viktoria Vaar expertly guides them through the sex. All the conventions that one would expect from a client having sex with a sex worker are present such as condoms, which heightens the reality of the scene.

A Sex Worker's Story gives a tenderhearted look at sex workers and offers a non-salacious look at how sex workers help their clients. As A Sex Worker's Story is presented, it works perfectly in the short film format, and the short film shouldn't be missed!

A Sex Worker's Story is an excellent short film that gives a positive sex worker image and brings a beautiful level of humanity to the sex worker character. In addition, the cast performs in a beautiful sex scene that gives a more realistic look at sex than one often gets in an adult movie. A Sex Worker's Story is definitely worth watching.
