Her & Him is the third entry in Pornhub's Visionaries Director's Club, a series of movies where Pornhub to invites guest celebrity directors to “diversify porn production.” Her & Him was written and directed by former Disney child star Bella Thorne and premiered at the Oldenberg Film Festival in Germany prior to streaming on Pornhub Premium.

According to Bella Thorne, she originally conceived Her & Him as a Christmas horror movie before the project morphed into an adult movie. Apparently, Her & Him had morphed into an adult film prior to Corey Price, the Vice President of Pornhub, coming on as an executive producer for the short film.

Her & Him is a narrative-driven short film. Small Hands plays an unnamed character who is dating an unnamed girl played by Abella Danger. One day he finds out that she has been looking up how to murder your boyfriend and get away with it. The two then play a twisted game of cat and mouse while he tries to figure out if she is really trying to kill him.

The plot for Her & Him is exceptional, as Small Hands twists in the wind, unsure of what his girlfriend is up to, the viewer twists with him. Bella Thorne does a great job of building the dramatic tension in Her & Him as the short film progresses. As the dramatic tension keeps amping up, Bella Thorne also amps up the sexual tension in the short film. Small Hands and Abella Danger both kill in their roles. They both do an excellent job with the non-sexual portions of the short film and the sexual portions.

Her & Him has more softcore sexual action than hardcore sexual activity; however, the short film is fraught with sexual tension as the short film heads closer and closer to the full-blown sex scene. The sex scene itself is highly erotic. Small Hands and Abella Danger perform magnificently. The sex scene is shot differently than most are in the adult industry today. The emphasis is more on erotic sex than putting graphic penetration directly into the viewer's face.

The Christmas aspect may have been removed from Her & Him; however, the feel of Christmas remains in the neon-drenched lighting used in the short film. The visual design of Her & Him is exceptional. The hard-hitting soundtrack composed by Bella Thorne's ex-boyfriend Mod Sun is excellent as well. Both the lighting and the soundtrack add to the sexual tension that Her & Him builds as the short film progresses.

Her & Him is a fantastic debut adult short film from Bella Thorne. Hopefully, Her & Him doesn't end up being her only venture in making an adult movie. She completely hit Her & Him out of the park, and this reviewer would love to see what else she comes up with for future projects. Her & Him is highly recommended for fans of narrative adult movies.

The edition of Her & Him screened is the streaming-only edition on Pornhub. Her & Him was shot digitally and is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1 letterboxed to 1.78:1 in 1080p. The image is gorgeous with vibrant colors that pop off the screen. There weren't any noticeable defects with the video quality. There is a Pornhub bug in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen throughout the short film.

Her & Him is presented with an English Stereo audio track. The sound quality for the short film is exceptional with no noticeable issues, and the dialog can be understood throughout the movie.

The only extra that Pornhub has included with the short film is a four-and-a-half-minute behind the scenes piece that is actually an interview with Bella Thorne about making Her & Him.

Her & Him is a fantastic adult short film from writer and director Bella Thorne. Her & Him is well-crafted and works beautifully in the short film format. The short film is plot-heavy and graphic sex light; however, the short film builds the eroticism to the boiling point before the graphical sex is unleashed on the viewer. Pornhub has done an excellent job with their streaming-only edition of Her & Him with excellent image and sound quality.
