One of the greatest partnerships in the adult entertainment industry today continues with The Lustful Wife. Based on Selena Kitt's book Bluebeard's Wife, which has nothing to do with Charles Perrault's Barbe Bleue, The Lustful Wife is masterfully brought to the screen by Kay Brandt. The Lustful Wife is a feature movie that is excellent for viewers that enjoy watching an actual movie instead of just random sex scenes.

The story for The Lustful Wife is that Tara (Penny Pax) is having intimacy problems with her husband, John. John doesn't share any of his fantasies with Tara, and she knows he is holding out on her. One night, Tara catches John having phone sex and turns to her friend Kelly (Bridgette B) for help in becoming a woman that can bring out John's fantasies.

First and foremost, as with many of Kay Brandt's movies, The Lustful Wife is a true feature film. The sex scenes are part of the story, and the viewers get to know the characters, which adds more eroticism to the sex scenes since the sex scenes aren't just two random people having sex. The story, itself, is enjoyable, and the character of Tara is well-rounded, so the viewer wants her to succeed at her mission.

Kay Brandt, as she usually does, has cast excellent actresses and actors in The Lustful Wife. Penny Pax is the driving force throughout the film, because the film, itself, focuses on her character. Penny Pax does a great job of carrying the film, and viewers will get into the character she has brought to life. Bridgette B is enjoyable as her friend Kelly, who always knows the right way to get Tara to excite John. Derrick Pierce, who plays Kelly's husband Chris, is excellent as always as is the actor who portrays John.

The Lustful Wife looks beautiful. The movie was shot by seasoned adult movie veteran David Lord and consisted of mostly indoor locations with a few magnificent establishing shots. The film has excellent lighting, and the movie looks beautiful to the eye. The sex scenes are well captured, highlighting the beauty of the cast members.

The sex scenes are beautifully performed. All the main cast members are professionals when it comes to sex acting and gives sensual sexual performances while staying in character. The sex scenes are the longer style, which are popular in adult films in modern times.

The Lustful Wife is a great erotic film to spend an evening watching. The movie offers an enjoyable story with some hot sex scenes that leaves the viewer feeling satisfied at the end. The Lustful Wife is highly recommended.
