Flash's
review from 12/29/2015:
Kelly the Coed 17 brings back Allysin Chaynes as Kelly but has nothing to really offer the viewer. Unless you are a major fan of the series and must own them all, I would avoid this entry. Heatwave has done a decent job with the release but it still contains errors. [read the full review]

review from 12/19/2015:
Jim Powers actually manages to somehow make an entry that significantly lowers the bar yet again for the Kelly the Coed series, a feat I thought no longer possible. It appears at this point that Powers truly doesn't care and is going through the motions until Heatwave takes away his funding. Heatwave has done a poor job with this release with audio issues and a massive lack of any extras. [read the full review]
SpitShine's
review from 1/10/2007:
The Kelly the Coed series has been fairly ruined by its multiple installments (and multiple Kellies), but it's still, and always, a hoot to watch. For all those of you who, like me, value the set-up to a sex scene in a porn movie, be warned: the acting here is terrible! It could very well have been a high school play, weren't it for the sex. Our new Kelly in this episode is Crystal Ray. It's kind of a major departure from previous episodes to suddenly have a tall and red-haired Kelly, but she's such a little slut it ends up not really mattering. The plot on this one revolves around the midterm period, but everybody in the Delta and Pi Pi houses would much rather fuck than study. Proof of it is the promptness with which Kelly gladly interrupts her study to fuck two guys in the first scene. Her excuse for so doing? «You guys have beer!» This first scene, by the way, is just about the best in the movie. Laughing sluttily, Crystal seems to be having the time of her life been licked, sucking and getting DPed by those two ugly bastards. [read the full review]

Flash's
review from 12/3/2015:
Kelly the Coed Part 13: Pi Pi Girls Rule is the second entry to feature Noname Jane as the titular Kelly. While this series has never strived for anything great, or even mediocre for that matter, this entry lowers the bar yet a little further down for future entries. Heatwave has not done an impressive job with the release on DVD. [read the full review]

Flash's
review from 11/27/2015:
Kelly the Coed 12: Mommy's Little Monster features a new Kelly and a total abandonment of everything that has been done so far in the Kelly the Coed series along with any rooting in reality, not that this series has ever been good at that. The sex scenes aren't bad, but the plot is an insult to the intelligence. Heatwave has done an acceptable job with the release of the movie. [read the full review]

review from 12/9/2015:
Kelly the Co-ed 15 brings us yet another new Kelly but the movie is the same old garbage that Jim Powers keeps recycling over and over and over again. As with most entries, this one is slightly worse than the one before it. Heatwave has done an acceptable job with the release. [read the full review]

review from 11/24/2015:
Kelly the Coed Part 10: Greek Fest is more of the same. Very little creative thought has gone into the title. If this series thrills you, then you will enjoy this as much as those that came before it. If you want any substance with your adult movie, then pass on this one. [read the full review]

review from 11/24/2015:
Kelly the Coed Part 8, while not an amazing feature by any means, just might be the second best of the Kelly the Coed series as of yet. The plot is weak but some work went into it, but be prepared for a lot of problems. The release is lacking in quality though. [read the full review]

Flash's
review from 11/20/2015:
The Kelly the Coed series from Jim Powers and Heatwave continues to roll on, with each subsequent entry getting worse. The charm of the original has been completely tossed aside, as has actually shooting any footage at a campus at this point. Heatwave has also done a poor job with the release of the title. This is an easy movie to pass on. [read the full review]

review from 11/17/2015:
Kelly the Coed Part 6: Double Secret Probation is a new low for the Kelly the Coed series from Heatwave. Not only is this effort lazier than previous entries, significant portions of the movie have portions of the screen removed with purposely done pixelated out portions of the screen. Heatwave has done a lackluster job with the release to boot. [read the full review]

review from 11/16/2015:
Kelly the Coed Part 5 is another bad entry in the Kelly the Coed series. Kelly is still a freshman and is going to see her boyfriend of the day's father in this entry that would have been better had it been an all sex sorority themed movie. Heatwave has done a decent job with the presentation for the movie. [read the full review]

Flash's
review from 11/17/2015:
Jim Powers' Kelly the Coed series keeps going despite Powers seemingly being out of ideas for the smattering of plot that he puts in each one. Some of the sex scenes are good, but one is kind of disturbing when you think about it. There is no real reason to pick up this title. Heatwave has given the movie a decent release on DVD. review from 11/5/2015:
Kelly the Coed 3 is the lowest entry so far of the Kelly the Coed adult movie series. The charm that the first movie pulled off has been lost here. The movie is further hampered by newer footage being added to the movie for this release. The DVD itself is lacking with a less than stellar picture and tons of phone sex adverts. review from 12/28/2015:
Texas Dildo Masquerade is a horrible movie to come from Jim Powers and Heatwave. The movie itself is a chore to sit though with a story that insults the viewer by existing and sex scenes that are rather poor. Heatwave has done a poor job with the release as well making this an easy to skip and forget release. [read the full review]

review from 7/30/2000:
Never let it be said that I don't go the whole nine yards to give you, the discerning porn connoissier, the very best in adult DVD reviews. I work hard at giving you the most thorough, accurate and humorous reviews that I can. Sometimes, I have to make sacrifices in order to give you the best review in exchange for the time it takes to read them. In the case of today's DVD, the Texas Dildo Masquerade, I went out and rented the movie that inspired this tale of lost teenagers in a wilderness of terror. Yes, I actually watched the Texas Chainsaw Massacre in order to catch any reference that the director may throw at you. I suspect that the director is a fan of the original horror movie and he wanted to show, in his own way, that he enjoyed the cult classic and pay homage to the archetype of the slasher films. He failed. The Plot: Okay, check this out. Four impressionable "youths" are driving through the countryside to check on the gravesite of one of their number's grandfather. [read the full review]

review from 3/14/2002:
* DIRECTOR: Jim Powers. * DURATION: »85mins. * STARRING: Allysin Chaynes, Annabel Chong, Delia, Gwen Summers & Mazzy Page. Kelly the Coed has occupied the #1 spot on a few DVD retailers top 10 lists for a very long time. This teen-theme classic stars the perennial teen-queen Allysin Chaynes (less teeny these days with a big pair of plants) and one of my personal favourites, Gwen Summers, in addition to two less well-known cuties, Delia and Mazzy Page. Unfortunately, Annabel Chong worked her way into the movie too ... but these things happen. The teen theme works well with the four young girls and their nice natural bodies. The plot is pretty stupid it has some amusing moments but is entirely skippable. Ive disliked most of Jim Powers work but this movie seems more coherent than his others and the sex was OK. While great for Powers and decent by normal comparison, there could have been a lot more done with the cast (especially Gwen). Once you fast-forward past the long annoying ad at the start, there's a good range of extras. [read the full review]
Flash's
review from 10/18/2001:
All-in-all, Kelly the Coed is not a bad movie, but a far cry from those that came out during the golden age of adult films. Kelly the Coed is worth a watch and/or picking up if the price is cheap enough. There are enough variants in the sexual acts presented in the movie that all viewers should be pleased as everyone should find something to their liking within the movie. Heatwave has done a good job with their DVD release of Kelly the Coed. [read the full review]

Running Time: 83 min. Production Date: August 6th and 7th 1998 Director: Jim Powers Cast: Allysin Chaynes, Annabelle Chong, Gwen Summers, De Lia, Mazzie, Brian Surewood, Pat Myne, John West, Mark Wood, J. J. Michaels, Tyce Bune, Jay Ashley, Mark Afile, Brandon Iron, and Johnny Thrust Initial Expectations: Ive heard a lot of mixed reviews on Kelly The Coed . Since its been nominated for a WAD Award I have some hope for it. Initial Reaction: Its not bad, but its not fabulous either. Audio /Video Quality: Its a low budget feature, so its not perfect. The audio has some dubbing but most of the dialogue is pretty clear. The video has some grain and suffers some from poor lighting in areas. On the plus side, its probably a little more realistic lighting in some of these scenes. Unfortunately, it isnt that way for all of them. Music: I think theres only two songs through the entire movie. Theyre normally well balanced but get really annoying. [read the full review]
