In this entry, Kelly (Allysin Chaynes) has been forgetting to study due to having fun. She's got to pass a final or she will have to repeat the class. In addition, the Pi Pi sorority house has the lowest grades on campus.

This entry contains a shitty script that copies the formula that the series seems to have fallen into. There is a frat house fuck and an authority figure fuck. Powers has mixed this entry up with a fuck in a bar, which we haven't seen yet in the series. The acting in this entry is rather abysmal as well.

I understand that this is the world of adult movies and continuity doesn't overly matter, however, Powers has continued his past problem of casting actors in different roles. In this entry Rod Fontana plays Dean Fontana, yet in the last entry he was Kelly's faculty adviser, and in this entry Buck Adams is Kelly's stepfather, yet in the last entry he was the basketball team coach. Aspects like this make one feel that Powers is just cranking these out as fast as he can without any real regard for the feature movie viewer.

Some of the sex scenes are well done, others are well not as good. In a rather disgusting, and vastly inexplainable move, Powers has Kelly's mom (Nancy Vee) walk in on two frat boys (Joel Lawrence and Mark Vega) sitting on toilets in a rest room where she proceeds to fuck them. Take from that what you will.

In good news, it appears that Kelly's freshman year may actually be coming to an end, because at the end of the movie, she is looking forward to being a sophomore.

Kelly the Coed — Part 4 is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The picture presentation shows the limitations of the video master, but isn't bad. Kelly the Coed — Part 4 is presented with an English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track, which is acceptable. There are also dubbed German, French, Hungarian, and Spanish audio tracks presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo. The movie opens with a series of phone sex adverts. They are skippable but the end result is the disc comes across as cheap. Heatwave has included a few extras on the disc. There is a nine minute behind the scenes piece. There is a “Meet the Stars” piece that features video and a picture of the female stars of the movie. There are solo scenes with all the female stars of the movie. There are also two angles available for the sex scenes.

Jim Powers' Kelly the Coed series keeps going despite Powers seemingly being out of ideas for the smattering of plot that he puts in each one. Some of the sex scenes are good, but one is kind of disturbing when you think about it. There is no real reason to pick up this title. Heatwave has given the movie a decent release on DVD.
