Some irritation factors, but all in all, a good value. Plot Synopsis: Action Sports Sex is a "reality" gonzo, meaning that the plot is supposed to be like vacation home video footage and seem natural to the viewer. This video manages to accomplish this better than most, but you still have no doubt this is a scripted porn flick. The premise of ASS (original acronym, huh), is that Robby D. and Pat Myne steal a professional grade video camera from a guy filming surfers on the beach.

Review brief: If only the sex were as feverous as the movie itself. Crazed is a great DVD, packed with dynamic and informative extras. Even the main menu is cool the scene in the background portrays the tone of the movie really well. Serenity is refreshingly cute, instead of the typical Look at me, Im beautiful porn star. She also can act both in and out of the bedroom. I definitely enjoyed watching this DVD even though it didnt spark a Crazed evening (excuse the bad pun.)The intermingling of the real world with a passionate dream world makes the movie interesting, but definitely could have been smoother (or I should say more intricate.) Serenitys descent into insanity strays from your run of the mill porn plot. As usual in porn, the story set a mood rather than providing a seat gripping adventure. Mike Horner and the special effects develop that tone even further.The sex ranges from passionate couples sex between Serenity and Mickey G to Missy in leather straps to everlasting orgies.

Before each scene get's started on this the DVD their is a short interview with each girl. They are asked about their views on anal sex, to which most reply they love it! Which is what most people watching this DVD probably want to hear. The first up is Zoe who in her pre penetrative interview tells us how she likes anal sex and has never had anal sex. ??? Apparently she was nervous :o) Zoe is quite pleasing to the eye but I wouldn't compare her to infamous blonde porn star Savannah unlike the director seemed to think. After this somewhat paintful interview we see the guy fingering Zoe's pussy and arse while she lies face down sticking her butt in the air. Her drools spit inside her and the proceeds to dig his fingers in like he's searching for something. Zoe then gives him a blow job of very poor quality, I found myself fighting the urge to hit the forward button.

Although the fantasy scenarios are scripted, the dialogue and interviews appear to be natural.

How do you review an award-winning softcore porn title which consists mostly of re-used footage? In this case, all of Arousal's couples scenes were shot for Titan's gorgeous hardcore Island Guardian and Desert Train, so first I'd recommend those DVDs over this one--for most of us who are actually interested in sexual activity... Titan calls Arousal "a fine art coffee-table book come to life"--and that's a pretty good description. Cam & Kirsch know how to find stunning scenery--human and otherwise--and film it well. Taken on its own merits this DVD is beautiful, well-made and, yes, arousing as hell--if the sight of gorgeous studs passionately kissing and rubbing against each other for 82 minutes sounds worth a purchase or a rental. (Don't confuse this softcore with the kind usually referred to as "cable porn"--which includes real or simulated sex edited non-explicitly.

Review brief: I picked up Diva Girls a few weeks ago, and it barely leaves my player! The disc is amazing! 25 of the hottest women in the industry in SOLO scenes. Now that may or may not be your cup of porn, and I admit, some of the scenes are just too short, or dont do it for me, but 90 of the disc is fantasitc. The performers include :Anna Malle, Asia Carerra, Avalon, Rebecca Lord, Vicca (a fave!) Laura Palmer, Cortknee, Jeanna Fine and 18 others! Each woman has her own scene, and inbetween is a brief but entertaining look at them, out of character. Sometimes these are as good as the scene itself. The scenes range from a dominatrix styled Jeanna Fine, to the light and cuddly types. There are some nice bonuses on the disc. There is an interview with Michael Ninn. There are also some two on two all girl scenes and a few hotter scenes that you have to find a key to unlock. All worth it! However, you do have to have a liking for female masturbation...

Review brief: When the biggest flaw in a porno is really bad hair you know it has to be good. And when a pornos opening scene takes place in a trailer park you know its going to be funny. This movie covered everything from humor to sensuality to orgasmic spirituality. OK theres not really anything spiritual going on, but Peaches (Keishas) spiritual quest definitely gets her some libidinal bounty.Peaches, the wonderfully innocent trailer park girl begins her journey at the ravenous Dr Thunderpussys office, where she gets feverously fingered by the good doctor (who then pleases herself with a blowup doll in the backroom.) Dr Thunderpussy is an 80s styled clit reader who sets Peaches up to get taken advantage of by every kind of charlatan, religious or otherwise.Peaches quest takes her from a retreat where three pretty blondes have too much fun with each other, to a really bad Jimmy Swaggart whose partner bows before him when he tells her to start praying, to a class on polarity which is nothing more than a lot of hot sex.

Review brief: DESERT TRAIN Directed by Kirsh & Cam Titan Media / Atomic (Distributors) REPORT CARD: B Desert Train features perhaps the most gorgeous photography ever shot in the U.S. for a gay porn film. Stunning camera work, and extremely fine music. The editing is top-notch too, if a bit leisurely. And the cast is outstanding--almost every man here is guaranteed to make you jump to attention, so to speak. Still--it manages to add up to less than it should. Titan's main directors--Bruce Cam and Robert Kirsh--can be an infuriating team. They know just what it takes to make great films, and they rank among the best in gay porn for craftsmanship and artistry. Yet their hard-core footage is often poorly planned, uneven and rushed. The sex scenes vary drastically in length, and the "pretty scenery" begins to feel like padding after a while. In Desert Train, for example, Adriano Marquez--one of my current favorites, featured on the DVD cover--is almost completely wasted in a scene which, according to the production notes, was interrupted while filming.

Review brief: This is the best I've seen in interactive DVD. Don't look for a movie in the new Dyanna Presents series, because these DVDs aren't movies - more like visual toys.The way this virtual sex DVD works is that you navigate through menus and submenus. Firstly, you choose Inari or Sky, two young, beautiful blondes. Then you choose teasing scenes or sex scenes. Then position.To simplify I'm going to break this down into treasures and flaws (not in any kind of order):TreasuresInari - she's naturally beautiful and has the perfect personality to make you feel like she is doing everything just for you. Did I mention Real Boobs!Menu - the first menu is so well done. When you click on a girl she talks to you and shows her stuff asking you to pick her. Very cool.Dyanna - her narration gives the disc a homey feel. And she's great in the behind-the-scenes. There are also some extra hot clips of her.Behind The Scenes - what can I say I love this kind of raw footage. Review brief: Normally comedy in porn means acting so bad it's laughable. Not so in this wonderful film. Blue Movie is not only a parody on porn itself, but also makes amusing references to mainstream movies. Remember the briefcase in Pulp Fiction, which if I remember correctly was also in Kiss of the Spider Woman? Well, Blue Movie has a clamshell that emits that same dangerous light. Men melt into nothingness if they look into the clamshell that deviously whispers "Pussy Power. Pussy Power." I'm slapping my knee just writing about it.Stephen St. Croix's quarky role as cross-dressing director makes the movie. He stays in character even during sex scenes. And best of all he wears a chiquita banana fruit hat around the set one day.I know you're waiting for me to start talking about Jenna. But the Jenna look just isn't my style. And the blue ball - what's with the blue ball? I must be shallow 'cause I have no idea.Michael Zen made one heck of a masterpiece here. Review brief: Seven Deadly Sins really is made for DVD. It is cut into seven loosely associated sex scenes perfect for the easy access of a chapter menu. Viewing sequentially is totally unnecessary its more of an erotic anthology than a film with a story line. The concepts behind each scene/sin are expressed through unique sexual depictions. The sex is definitely not your ordinary porno sex. One scene is a wild food orgy, another a gorgeous threesome in a house of mirrors (talk about multiple angles.) I cant say that I loved every scene, but you get four hours of Vivid girls: seven sex scenes in the feature and a ton of extras. To top it off Vivid put it all on one side of a disc.Seven Deadly Sins will peak your interest and a lot more. The performers, male and female, are very attractive (thank you Vivid for casting James Bonn.) The execution is not perfect, but will exceed your porn expectations. Seven Deadly Sins can cross that line into mainstream because it took porn and made it erotic.

Review brief: Directed by Cam & KirschREPORT CARD: B+First off, if you're looking for the extreme side of S&M, buy the video--not the DVD.Titan Media, like others, is farming their DVD production to an outside company. Thus they've decided to release only what they call "retail" versions on DVD, rather than their own private "mail order" versions. (Is this what Falcon is going to end up doing too? I hope not. But if they out-source their DVD production, you can probably count on it.)These "retail" cuts are hardcore sex, to be sure, but they've been re-edited to remove "controversial" scenes, which in gay porn usually means fisting or extreme buttplay, flogging or piercing. (Perhaps multiple penetration too; I'm not sure.) Since this stuff has only slight novelty value for me personally, I probably found the DVD cut of Fallen Angel at least as exciting as I would the VHS cut. Still... No one wants to fork out $69 (the very high retail price) just to find out they've gotten a censored or edited-down product. An unacceptable practice, in my opinion.

Review brief: Top 25 Adult Stars of All Time is really an excellent DVD to make part of your collection. It provides an overview of all the eras of porn, from the golden age of xxx theater to today's adult video. The whos who of porn stars is clearly detailed. I found the Jill Kelly, Jim Holiday narration somewhat annoying, but you get 25 of the best sex scenes of all time. On how many DVDs do you get 25 full sex scenes? I was immediately pleased with this DVD when the first scene turned out to be my favorite ever: when Marilyn Chambers 'loses her virginity' in Insatiable. Second comes another incredible scene - the utterly orgasmic Insatiable finale with Holmes and Chambers. Top 25 stars introduced me to a lot of porn I wouldn't have otherwise seen. The extras on Mobster's Wife are better than the average porno. There are moments in the "making of" that are hilarious. There are also scenes unintentioanlly included in the "making of" that didn't make it past the final cut for the DVD. The multiple angles are typical Vivid. (15 minutes of footage compressed into 5 minutes over three angles.) The sex scenes in Mobster's are above average. This one is a must-have if you are a Lexus fan. This is one of her better DVDs. She actually seems to enjoy the sex at times.

For once the men are attractive (90 of em) -and most of the women are very hot (fresh faces.) They are all either faking accents or they are truely European. My problem with the chics is the excessive make-up in some scenes -but no biggie. I guess I'd prefer a bunch of people in the woods frolicking in streams, completely natural. Anwyay -There is lots of foreplay and hot sex. I definitely recommend this for a fuck flick (not sure how else to say that.) Although I thought the cameraman was lame (the one in Pornostar was way better.) There are 7 scenes. and once again excellent menus from Metro. I didn't even check out the extras because I don't consider stills from the movie I just watched 'extra' and the trailers were on the flip side of the disc.

Titan calls Arousal "a fine art coffee-table book come to life"--and that's a pretty good description. Cam & Kirsch know how to find stunning scenery--human and otherwise--and film it well. Review brief: I picked up Diva Girls a few weeks ago, and it barely leaves my player! The disc is amazing! 25 of the hottest women in the industry in SOLO scenes. Stunning camera work, and extremely fine music. The editing is top-notch too, if a bit leisurely. And the cast is outstanding--almost every man here is guaranteed to make you jump to attention, so to speak. Still--it manages to add up to less than it should. Titan's main directors--Bruce Cam and Robert Kirsh--can be an infuriating team. They know just what it takes to make great films, and they rank among the best in gay porn for craftsmanship and artistry. Yet their hard-core footage is often poorly planned, uneven and rushed. The sex scenes vary drastically in length, and the "pretty scenery" begins to feel like padding after a while. In Desert Train, for example, Adriano Marquez--one of my current favorites, featured on the DVD cover--is almost completely wasted in a scene which, according to the production notes, was interrupted while filming.

Review brief: Seven Deadly Sins really is made for DVD. It is cut into seven loosely associated sex scenes perfect for the easy access of a chapter menu. Viewing sequentially is totally unnecessary its more of an erotic anthology than a film with a story line. The concepts behind each scene/sin are expressed through unique sexual depictions. The sex is definitely not your ordinary porno sex. One scene is a wild food orgy, another a gorgeous threesome in a house of mirrors (talk about multiple angles.) I cant say that I loved every scene, but you get four hours of Vivid girls: seven sex scenes in the feature and a ton of extras. To top it off Vivid put it all on one side of a disc.Seven Deadly Sins will peak your interest and a lot more. The performers, male and female, are very attractive (thank you Vivid for casting James Bonn.) The execution is not perfect, but will exceed your porn expectations. Seven Deadly Sins can cross that line into mainstream because it took porn and made it erotic.

Review brief: Directed by Cam & KirschREPORT CARD: B+First off, if you're looking for the extreme side of S&M, buy the video--not the DVD.Titan Media, like others, is farming their DVD production to an outside company. Thus they've decided to release only what they call "retail" versions on DVD, rather than their own private "mail order" versions. (Is this what Falcon is going to end up doing too? I hope not. But if they out-source their DVD production, you can probably count on it.)These "retail" cuts are hardcore sex, to be sure, but they've been re-edited to remove "controversial" scenes, which in gay porn usually means fisting or extreme buttplay, flogging or piercing. (Perhaps multiple penetration too; I'm not sure.) Since this stuff has only slight novelty value for me personally, I probably found the DVD cut of Fallen Angel at least as exciting as I would the VHS cut. Still... No one wants to fork out $69 (the very high retail price) just to find out they've gotten a censored or edited-down product. An unacceptable practice, in my opinion.

Review brief: Top 25 Adult Stars of All Time is really an excellent DVD to make part of your collection. It provides an overview of all the eras of porn, from the golden age of xxx theater to today's adult video. The whos who of porn stars is clearly detailed. I found the Jill Kelly, Jim Holiday narration somewhat annoying, but you get 25 of the best sex scenes of all time. On how many DVDs do you get 25 full sex scenes? I was immediately pleased with this DVD when the first scene turned out to be my favorite ever: when Marilyn Chambers 'loses her virginity' in Insatiable. Second comes another incredible scene - the utterly orgasmic Insatiable finale with Holmes and Chambers. Top 25 stars introduced me to a lot of porn I wouldn't have otherwise seen. And definitely led to a lot of purchases. The menu functionality had much to be desired.

Review brief: If you like your porn with a decent plot, attractive performers, silly New Jersey accents and a sense of self-mockery then you will like this one. The extras on Mobster's Wife are better than the average porno. There are moments in the "making of" that are hilarious. There are also scenes unintentioanlly included in the "making of" that didn't make it past the final cut for the DVD. The multiple angles are typical Vivid. (15 minutes of footage compressed into 5 minutes over three angles.) The sex scenes in Mobster's are above average. This one is a must-have if you are a Lexus fan. This is one of her better DVDs. She actually seems to enjoy the sex at times.

Review brief: It's a real gonzo -cameraman talks to performers before the scene -goes to each of their 'homes'. For once the men are attractive (90 of em) -and most of the women are very hot (fresh faces.) They are all either faking accents or they are truely European. My problem with the chics is the excessive make-up in some scenes -but no biggie. I guess I'd prefer a bunch of people in the woods frolicking in streams, completely natural. Anwyay -There is lots of foreplay and hot sex. I definitely recommend this for a fuck flick (not sure how else to say that.) Although I thought the cameraman was lame (the one in Pornostar was way better.) There are 7 scenes. and once again excellent menus from Metro. I didn't even check out the extras because I don't consider stills from the movie I just watched 'extra' and the trailers were on the flip side of the disc.
