Review brief: Barbara Broadcast is a Radley Metzger classic from 1977, starring Annette Haven and C.J. Laing. For more on Metzger, see my review of "The Opening of Misty Beethoven." The plot, to the extent there is one, involves C.J. Laing as a reporter interviewing Annette Haven, as "Barbara Broadcast", a sort of "Happy Hooker"/Xaviera Hollander type character. This is my least favorite of the Metzger hardcore pieces, but is still an excellent example of golden age adult film making. My favorite scene is a simple oral scene with under-celebrated seventies star Suzanne McBain. There is also the famous kitchen scene in which C.J. Laing does an anal scene with Wade Nichols. Nichols went on to star on a daytime soap opera for about 7 years, later succumbing to AIDS. There is a scene with Constance Money that was an unused leftover from "Misty Beethoven." In accordance with current law, because Constance was securely chained in the scene, no sex is shown, which is a darn shame.

Initial Expectations: I havent watched many of Plums DVDs yet, but I have some fairly high expectations after recently watching some of Silvias other work with Nic Cramer. Namely, Looker and Looker 2. Initial Reaction: Lame. Theres virtually no plot and its advertised as a couples movie. The only really good sexes are the ones with Silvia. Audio /Video Quality: I now know what people mean when they refer to Cramer-vision. As I said earlier, Ive seen two of Mr. Cramers other releases, Looker and Looker 2, both of which looked very good. Skin Deep , however, does not. Im assuming that Mr. Cramer is a big fan of Christmas. Its the only reason I can think of for having a red or green tint to every scene in the movie. None of the colors seem real.

Review brief: This is an example of a movie being more than the sum of its parts. Or in this case, less than the sum of its parts. The individual elements wouldn't make a bad flick, but mix them together and you've got salmon flavored ice-cream. I like salmon, and I like ice-cream. But I don't like salmon flavored ice-cream. Once a week my girlfriend and I cuddle up and watch some porn together. The problem we had with this flick was that the plot was somewhat interesting and the sex was good, BUT the plot was not sexual or erotic. The plot was downright depressing. Long dialogs describing crippled firemen and crippled relationships interspursed with great sex. We'd get going with the flow of the sex only to be brought to a screeching halt by some depressing monologue. And there seemed to be a lot of them. And I didn't understand the use of the monologues. The point of most of them could have been expressed much better visually with a "flash back" approach.

Initial Reaction: Its pretty good. Not great, but very good. Who Should Watch It: Anybody wanting sex on the more artistic side Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants sex in real time without dubbed audio Audio /Video Quality: The audio is mostly dubbed, but theres a lot of slow motion shots in the movie so its kind of unavoidable. Everything is very clear, both dialogue and sex sounds. The video is normally very clear, but in some places theres a little grain. Music: The music is by Saint, which I really like. Saints music really raises couples movies up a notch for me. Its very well balanced and fits the scenes wonderfully.

Review brief: Wow, where do I start with this one. The DVD is crammed with countless short scenes which involve various combinations of 4 females and 2 male actors. The end scene includes them all, squeezed onto the bed. You can choose through the menu who you would like to appear of the scene, but you can bypass all that and choose from a list of actors who are in each scene. The scenes themselves are quite short - about 5 min on average each, but there are 18ish of them which includes multi-angle in each scene. Each scene takes place on a boring dull bed, but hey - it's the sex I want to see not scenery. The girls themselves are in my opinion quite attractive and the guys are average in appearance. There is limited extras on the disc, just 3 hidden scenes for you to find, but I went straight to them on my software player.

"Picture Perfect" with Nico Treasures and Julian St. Jox Nico, a pretty good-looking blonde, plays a shy wife who wants some erotic photos for her husband. Review brief: Frankly, I don't know what film the rest of these reviewers watched. I don't watch porns for the sound, or the plot, or the special effects. I watch them to get aroused... and that's where this film is lacking. Sure, the women are quite attactive, but I can see naked attractive women on late night Cinemax. In short, we we're most looking for in this film is what it lacks... torrid, unabashed, uninterrupted sex. Most of the sex is very cold, artsy, and staged (rather than "hot" and spontaneous) with far too many special effects, cuts, and other BS mixed in. And, there's too much masturbation and lesbian sex... not enough of the good stuff (male-female). Moreover, to top it off, the main gal (Sasha) doesn't do anything other than get herself off (I don't buy that it's her in the very, very brief tiger sex scene). While other reviewers might use terms like Stylish, Incredible, Different, Artist, "a visual feast", etc., I'd be most likely to use the terms Boring, Unending, Repetitive, and so forth.

Review brief: "Madness" -Director: Pierre Woodman -Format: DVD -Production year: April, 2000 -Length: Little over 2 hours -Cast: Melody Kord, Judith Fox, Agnes, Paola, other gorgeous women My Take: Love him or hate him, Pierre Woodman shoots beautiful people in beautiful places having sex. Despite his attempt at making a somewhat intriguing plot, the real focus here is on the action. In particular, he has assembled a cast of virtually unknown, and cover-girl quality women doing nasty things that girls of their caliber shouldn't do (but to our satisfaction). The movie is shot in Puerto Vallerta, and it's absolutely a breezy and tropical backdrop to this movie. There were three women, particulary Judith Fox, that stood out in this movie. Like many of the other actresses, Judith is a bombshell beauty of Hungarian descent, and she has a great scene on a pool overlooking the ocean. She shows great enthusiasm and flexibility throughout her scene. If you love natural, beautiful, yet nasty girls, this is the movie for you.

Theyve always seemed really poorly done both technically and overall. Initial Reaction: Its one of, if not the worst feature Ive ever seen. Audio /Video Quality: For a Pro-Am movie, its almost very good. The audio is very good and lets you hear most everything. The video is slightly grainy for most of the movie except for the last part of the last scene. Horrible is a compliment for the picture here. Its a little better than the original Atari games for this part. If not for these few minutes, I would have rated the audio and video an entire point higher. The color is also off in much of the film due to the lighting. Some of the movie is pretty well balanced and others are completely bleached out from too much lighting. Music: None.

I have a thread of hope due to my luck with Digital Sin. Initial Reaction: Its a lot more tasteful than part of me thought it would be. Fans of all girl all sex features will probably like it. Audio /Video Quality: Both are pretty good. Theres a little pixelation in a few spots and you can hear a few background noises. Neither should be a surprise as this is a low budget feature. Despite the low budget nature, effort appears to have been put into the technical aspects. Music: Theres very little music to The 4 Finger Club 5 .

Review brief: This 1976 Golden Age classic is, by critical consensus, the best adult film of all time. It was directed by Henry Paris, a stage name for Radley Metzger, who directed several soft-core movies of the 1960s, including The Dirty Girls (1964), The Alley Cats (1965), Carmen, Baby (1967), Therese and Isabelle (1968), Camille 2000 (1969), and The Lickerish Quartet (1970). Its safe to say he is more famous for this film than for any other; millions more people have seen Misty Beethoven than have seen any of those non- explicit movies. By the way, Im not talking out of school by giving his real name; on the commentary track of this disk, Jamie Gillis and Gloria Leonard use his real name repeatedly. They arent talking out of school either, because some quick Internet research on any number of sites would give you his real name. The plot is an x-rated takeoff on George Bernard Shaws 1916 play Pygmalion which was the basis for Lerner and Loewes successful Broadway musical and Academy Award-winning film, My Fair Lady.

Occasionally once in a while a good one lands in my hands that I find captures my attention. I enjoyed Digital Playgrounds Conquest, and that title in my opinion holds the most historic most amazing lesbian scene in pornographic DVD history. I also enjoyed Adam & Eves Search For The Snow Leopard, that was pretty good. Anyway, I enjoyed Adam & Eves latest project, A Witchs Tail. If anything, I figured I'd get a taste of what has made Black's company so controversial. Taken in parts, it's easy to get offended by what's in The Pornographer. Jasmin St. Claire gets choked to death by Earl Slate's dick, Nina Whett has sex with possibly the most unsavory man ever to be involved in the business, and there's some light bondage stuff that didn't do much for me at all. But, here I am about to write a positive review of all this.

Review brief: Ok ok, so I bought this movie to watch the twins get a good stuffing - and was not dissapointed! My first viewing of a Ben Dover film and it is quite good. The movie has four scenes and extras such as a photo gallery and extra bits from each scene. The first scene is with the blonde twins, who look like your average 18 year old, with small but nice tits and white flesh. To look at they are nothing compared with the pro's, but they make a refreshing change from the norm. They pair up with a couple of dorks and start off with the usual blow job and end up with a quite nice snowball. Scene featues quite good anal sex with one blonde getting her starfish filled for the first time? Second scene features Georgette who is ok looking with a nice body. She dances around for awhile and strips off then gets double filled by two guys. Third scene is Rebekah who is the most attractive of the lot. There is some good closeup blowjob shots in this scene, and some double vaginal aswell.

Review brief: I thought I would try a DVD from Jill Kelly productions and was not overally dissapointed. The DVD contains five scenes with the first one very reminiscent of an elegant angel scene with Shelbee Myne in the bath. Scene 3 features Tabitha Stevens with whom this DVD is about, and she takes a nice 8 finger ramming from another woman. You can see the extensive boob job she has had done though. Still very nice. Scene 4 has a couple making out in the kitchen and features good camera action with well shot angles etc. Finally, scene 5 is a run of the mill but well shot straight sex scene. Usual positions with a good closeup cowgirl shot. Just can't get over the gap in her front teeth though! The extra's are almost non-existant. They feature a cum shot recap and an interview with Tabitha.

Review brief: It seems like there havent been many out on the farm porno flicks lately. Maybe its hard to find someone willing to turn their farm into a writhing den of scalding gay lust. Review brief: This was my first Private DVD (also picked up Virgin Treasures at the same time and the video quality was better with that DVD). This DVD is good "bang for the buck" :-) but it is not both The Tower 2 and The Tower 3 on one DVD which it should have been since they had enough space. There are some scenes missing and that was never mentioned in the descriptions of it from Private. For example, Joo Min Lee's scene from The Tower 2 was cut out even though the cast list says she is on the DVD. There are still 12 scenes, however, so it is a good deal. Women on the DVD include: Agnes - needs braces Aliza - the blond main character.

I have yet to regret watching any Brad Armstrong movie, and from what Ive heard I wont regret this one either. Initial Reaction: Its very well done. The sex is very good and the cast and sets are beautiful. The story, however, seems a little hollow in places. Audio /Video Quality: The audio is very good. Its clear and you can hear almost everything you feel you should. The video, however, is lacking. Dream Quest appears to have been shot on film, as it has all the grain problems and limitations of film in adult movies.

Review brief: Barbara Broadcast is a Radley Metzger classic from 1977, starring Annette Haven and C.J. Laing. For more on Metzger, see my review of "The Opening of Misty Beethoven." The plot, to the extent there is one, involves C.J. Laing as a reporter interviewing Annette Haven, as "Barbara Broadcast", a sort of "Happy Hooker"/Xaviera Hollander type character. This is my least favorite of the Metzger hardcore pieces, but is still an excellent example of golden age adult film making. My favorite scene is a simple oral scene with under-celebrated seventies star Suzanne McBain. There is also the famous kitchen scene in which C.J. Laing does an anal scene with Wade Nichols. Nichols went on to star on a daytime soap opera for about 7 years, later succumbing to AIDS. There is a scene with Constance Money that was an unused leftover from "Misty Beethoven." In accordance with current law, because Constance was securely chained in the scene, no sex is shown, which is a darn shame.

Skin Deep , however, does not. Im assuming that Mr. Cramer is a big fan of Christmas. Its the only reason I can think of for having a red or green tint to every scene in the movie. Review brief: This is an example of a movie being more than the sum of its parts. Or in this case, less than the sum of its parts. The individual elements wouldn't make a bad flick, but mix them together and you've got salmon flavored ice-cream. I like salmon, and I like ice-cream. But I don't like salmon flavored ice-cream. Once a week my girlfriend and I cuddle up and watch some porn together. The problem we had with this flick was that the plot was somewhat interesting and the sex was good, BUT the plot was not sexual or erotic. The plot was downright depressing. Long dialogs describing crippled firemen and crippled relationships interspursed with great sex. We'd get going with the flow of the sex only to be brought to a screeching halt by some depressing monologue. And there seemed to be a lot of them. And I didn't understand the use of the monologues. The point of most of them could have been expressed much better visually with a "flash back" approach.

Review brief: Wow, where do I start with this one. The DVD is crammed with countless short scenes which involve various combinations of 4 females and 2 male actors. The end scene includes them all, squeezed onto the bed. You can choose through the menu who you would like to appear of the scene, but you can bypass all that and choose from a list of actors who are in each scene. The scenes themselves are quite short - about 5 min on average each, but there are 18ish of them which includes multi-angle in each scene. Each scene takes place on a boring dull bed, but hey - it's the sex I want to see not scenery. The girls themselves are in my opinion quite attractive and the guys are average in appearance. There is limited extras on the disc, just 3 hidden scenes for you to find, but I went straight to them on my software player.

Review brief: Frankly, I don't know what film the rest of these reviewers watched. I don't watch porns for the sound, or the plot, or the special effects. I watch them to get aroused... and that's where this film is lacking. Sure, the women are quite attactive, but I can see naked attractive women on late night Cinemax. In short, we we're most looking for in this film is what it lacks... torrid, unabashed, uninterrupted sex. Most of the sex is very cold, artsy, and staged (rather than "hot" and spontaneous) with far too many special effects, cuts, and other BS mixed in. And, there's too much masturbation and lesbian sex... not enough of the good stuff (male-female). Moreover, to top it off, the main gal (Sasha) doesn't do anything other than get herself off (I don't buy that it's her in the very, very brief tiger sex scene). While other reviewers might use terms like Stylish, Incredible, Different, Artist, "a visual feast", etc., I'd be most likely to use the terms Boring, Unending, Repetitive, and so forth.

The movie is shot in Puerto Vallerta, and it's absolutely a breezy and tropical backdrop to this movie. There were three women, particulary Judith Fox, that stood out in this movie. Like many of the other actresses, Judith is a bombshell beauty of Hungarian descent, and she has a great scene on a pool overlooking the ocean. She shows great enthusiasm and flexibility throughout her scene. If you love natural, beautiful, yet nasty girls, this is the movie for you.

Its a little better than the original Atari games for this part. If not for these few minutes, I would have rated the audio and video an entire point higher. The color is also off in much of the film due to the lighting. Some of the movie is pretty well balanced and others are completely bleached out from too much lighting. Music: None.

Review brief: Ok ok, so I bought this movie to watch the twins get a good stuffing - and was not dissapointed! My first viewing of a Ben Dover film and it is quite good. The movie has four scenes and extras such as a photo gallery and extra bits from each scene. The first scene is with the blonde twins, who look like your average 18 year old, with small but nice tits and white flesh. To look at they are nothing compared with the pro's, but they make a refreshing change from the norm. Review brief: This was my first Private DVD (also picked up Virgin Treasures at the same time and the video quality was better with that DVD). This DVD is good "bang for the buck" :-) but it is not both The Tower 2 and The Tower 3 on one DVD which it should have been since they had enough space. There are some scenes missing and that was never mentioned in the descriptions of it from Private. For example, Joo Min Lee's scene from The Tower 2 was cut out even though the cast list says she is on the DVD. There are still 12 scenes, however, so it is a good deal.
