Review brief: This dvd is loaded...literally! Some good loads and some bad, mostly bad. If you're into strictly cum shots this might be for you, I personally found it to be pretty monotonous after about the tenth shot. This is 4 hours of cum shots with every conceivable size cock, load, and hunk. You get big cocks, small cocks, black, white, cut, uncut and everything inbetween. The guys range in variety as well from twinks and muscle to black and hairy. Overall the majority of the shots are of poor quality with either poor sound or bad video, which consisted of the hues all being off. And the audio ranged in live to cheesy elevator music. Once in a while though you did get a good one but they were few and far between. The dvd is broken down into 50 chapters with I guess, I didn't count them, 10 shots in each. I wonder how many gallons of cum this would amount to? Anyway, there are some moments but just not enough for my taste.

Review brief: Gentle Gents is a compilation dvd that stars some of the great porn stars from the early 90's. They include, Chuck Baron, Devyn Foster, Christian Fox, Steve Gibson, Steven Marks, Tanner Reeves, JT Sloan, and Danny Summers to name a few. I couldn't track down who was who as their looks change with time and so do their names but believe me they are all hot! Each scene cuts right to the chase with not much foreplay and there's probably something to please everyone. Some of the scenes include guys getting hot and heavy on a couch, guys in jockstraps, one of whom I believe to be Christian Fox who is too fucking cute! Ive got fairly high hopes for that reason alone. Initial Reaction: The story is fun and the sex is good and it appears that everyone is having fun. It makes the entire movie fun to watch. Audio /Video Quality: The audio is very good. Theres a few background noises but they dont interfere too much with the movie. Theyre soft enough that you wouldnt even notice them if there was any music. The video is also very good. Theres a few soft focus problems but theyre only for a split second a couple times in the movie. Music: None. Review: Normally its a really bad sign when the cover and the movie cant agree on things.

Initial Reaction: Carnal Witness has perhaps the best plot Ive seen in an adult film. The sex was also a little above average. This is a great movie! Audio /Video Quality: The audio is generally pretty good. Its a little uneven here and there, but nothing that interferes with the movie too much. The dialogue is all easily understood. The video is about average. Most of the picture is slightly grainy. A lot of the scenes take place in fairly dark places, which doesnt help things much. When you consider some of the locations, the video seems a lot better than what it first appears. Music: The music is excellent and extremely varied.

Review brief: If Karen Dior were given a bit more of a budget her movies might not be that bad, unfortunately she doesnt have much so they tend to be average at best. The story is thin and the scenes arent really related too much, just 5 segments with one being a solo. The guys are all average looking which is refreshing. Nice cocks and asses and no "super model" types. Just your guy next door. It begins with Don Dawson and Dirk Adams lying in bed. Both of these guys are rather cute, young, dark hair and a bit Spanish looking. They appear they could almost be brothers, which is kind of erotic in itself. Review brief: While BARBARA BROADCAST is a true classic in the annals (or is that "anals?")of adult movies, I must admit that this film has never been, and probably would never will be, a favorite of mine despite this superb DVD presentation by VCA Classics. As it so happens, my ardent interest in porn coincided with a time where videotape reigned supreme, and where any incompetent with a video camera, a flood light, and a hotel room could easily make their own pornographic masterpiece. Suffice to say, I completely missed the era of true blue movie classics of the seventies and early eighties (which included titles like DEEP THROAT, INSATIABLE, ROOMMATES, and BEHIND THE GREEN DOOR) for which porn historians like Jim Holliday sing their praises. Still, though I lack the cultural background to appreciate fully the golden age of adult movies, their overall erotic effect is not lost upon me, nor should it be lost upon anyone who enjoys watching carnally raw, hot sex.

There are a few focus problems, but not a lot of them and theyre fixed fairly quickly. The audio is very good in the sex scenes, but in the interviews some of the dialogue is hard to understand. Theres also some bad background noise in a few places. Music: None. Disc Problems: The feature is split between two main chapters (as is the time code). Its a kind of fuzz throughout the entire movie. The video is what Id consider good VHS quality. Its slightly grainy and it isnt helped by the bad lighting in most of the movie. Theres also a lot of pixelation flashes towards the end of the movie. Music: To call it cheesy would be a compliment. It ranges from well balanced to extremely overpowering. Review: Inferno tries to get by on the charm of leading lady Teri Weigel, which seems kind of strange as this is her first movie. Teri had a huge following, and she shows a lot of talent in Inferno .

Review brief: Off Limits is a pretty good fuck fest presented by Chip Daniels who makes a cameo appearance as the Sarge. Review brief: Barbara Broadcast is a Radley Metzger classic from 1977, starring Annette Haven and C.J. Laing. For more on Metzger, see my review of "The Opening of Misty Beethoven." The plot, to the extent there is one, involves C.J. Laing as a reporter interviewing Annette Haven, as "Barbara Broadcast", a sort of "Happy Hooker"/Xaviera Hollander type character. This is my least favorite of the Metzger hardcore pieces, but is still an excellent example of golden age adult film making. My favorite scene is a simple oral scene with under-celebrated seventies star Suzanne McBain. There is also the famous kitchen scene in which C.J. Laing does an anal scene with Wade Nichols. Nichols went on to star on a daytime soap opera for about 7 years, later succumbing to AIDS. There is a scene with Constance Money that was an unused leftover from "Misty Beethoven." In accordance with current law, because Constance was securely chained in the scene, no sex is shown, which is a darn shame.

Initial Expectations: I havent watched many of Plums DVDs yet, but I have some fairly high expectations after recently watching some of Silvias other work with Nic Cramer. Namely, Looker and Looker 2. Initial Reaction: Lame. Theres virtually no plot and its advertised as a couples movie. The only really good sexes are the ones with Silvia. Audio /Video Quality: I now know what people mean when they refer to Cramer-vision. As I said earlier, Ive seen two of Mr. Cramers other releases, Looker and Looker 2, both of which looked very good. Skin Deep , however, does not. Im assuming that Mr. Cramer is a big fan of Christmas. Its the only reason I can think of for having a red or green tint to every scene in the movie. None of the colors seem real.

Review brief: This is an example of a movie being more than the sum of its parts. Or in this case, less than the sum of its parts. The individual elements wouldn't make a bad flick, but mix them together and you've got salmon flavored ice-cream. I like salmon, and I like ice-cream. But I don't like salmon flavored ice-cream. Once a week my girlfriend and I cuddle up and watch some porn together. The problem we had with this flick was that the plot was somewhat interesting and the sex was good, BUT the plot was not sexual or erotic. The plot was downright depressing. Long dialogs describing crippled firemen and crippled relationships interspursed with great sex. We'd get going with the flow of the sex only to be brought to a screeching halt by some depressing monologue. And there seemed to be a lot of them. And I didn't understand the use of the monologues. Review brief: Wow, where do I start with this one. The DVD is crammed with countless short scenes which involve various combinations of 4 females and 2 male actors. The scenes themselves are quite short - about 5 min on average each, but there are 18ish of them which includes multi-angle in each scene. Review brief: Frankly, I don't know what film the rest of these reviewers watched. I don't watch porns for the sound, or the plot, or the special effects. I watch them to get aroused... and that's where this film is lacking. Sure, the women are quite attactive, but I can see naked attractive women on late night Cinemax. In short, we we're most looking for in this film is what it lacks... torrid, unabashed, uninterrupted sex. Most of the sex is very cold, artsy, and staged (rather than "hot" and spontaneous) with far too many special effects, cuts, and other BS mixed in. And, there's too much masturbation and lesbian sex... not enough of the good stuff (male-female). Moreover, to top it off, the main gal (Sasha) doesn't do anything other than get herself off (I don't buy that it's her in the very, very brief tiger sex scene). Ok, the part about suckas in fear is bullshit; it's just that I'm always on the lookout for opportunities to paraphrase L.L. Cool J. But Teri Weigel has been here for years, and that's certainly longer than the pornographic 15 minutes most people gave her when she stepped off the centerfold of Playboy magazine and into hardcore movies. Though what one man might call longevity another might call "being around the block." To that end, let me put your worries to rest. She still looks good. That is, if you like the overly ripe comic book heroine type. This time around Teri is a blonde, which takes some getting use to; I preferred her as a brunette.

Theres some pixelation to the picture in a few spots. The audio is normally very clear but theres a hum and tapping in the background in a couple spots. Music: None. Review brief: Barbara Broadcast is a Radley Metzger classic from 1977, starring Annette Haven and C.J. Laing. For more on Metzger, see my review of "The Opening of Misty Beethoven." The plot, to the extent there is one, involves C.J. Laing as a reporter interviewing Annette Haven, as "Barbara Broadcast", a sort of "Happy Hooker"/Xaviera Hollander type character. This is my least favorite of the Metzger hardcore pieces, but is still an excellent example of golden age adult film making. My favorite scene is a simple oral scene with under-celebrated seventies star Suzanne McBain. There is also the famous kitchen scene in which C.J. Laing does an anal scene with Wade Nichols. Nichols went on to star on a daytime soap opera for about 7 years, later succumbing to AIDS. There is a scene with Constance Money that was an unused leftover from "Misty Beethoven." In accordance with current law, because Constance was securely chained in the scene, no sex is shown, which is a darn shame.

Initial Expectations: I havent watched many of Plums DVDs yet, but I have some fairly high expectations after recently watching some of Silvias other work with Nic Cramer. Namely, Looker and Looker 2. Initial Reaction: Lame. Theres virtually no plot and its advertised as a couples movie. The only really good sexes are the ones with Silvia. Audio /Video Quality: I now know what people mean when they refer to Cramer-vision. As I said earlier, Ive seen two of Mr. Cramers other releases, Looker and Looker 2, both of which looked very good. Skin Deep , however, does not. Im assuming that Mr. Cramer is a big fan of Christmas. Its the only reason I can think of for having a red or green tint to every scene in the movie. None of the colors seem real.

Review brief: This is an example of a movie being more than the sum of its parts. Or in this case, less than the sum of its parts. The individual elements wouldn't make a bad flick, but mix them together and you've got salmon flavored ice-cream. I like salmon, and I like ice-cream. But I don't like salmon flavored ice-cream. Once a week my girlfriend and I cuddle up and watch some porn together. The problem we had with this flick was that the plot was somewhat interesting and the sex was good, BUT the plot was not sexual or erotic. The plot was downright depressing. Long dialogs describing crippled firemen and crippled relationships interspursed with great sex. We'd get going with the flow of the sex only to be brought to a screeching halt by some depressing monologue. And there seemed to be a lot of them. And I didn't understand the use of the monologues. The point of most of them could have been expressed much better visually with a "flash back" approach.

Who Should Watch It: Anybody wanting sex on the more artistic side Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants sex in real time without dubbed audio Audio /Video Quality: The audio is mostly dubbed, but theres a lot of slow motion shots in the movie so its kind of unavoidable. Everything is very clear, both dialogue and sex sounds. The video is normally very clear, but in some places theres a little grain. Music: The music is by Saint, which I really like. Saints music really raises couples movies up a notch for me. Its very well balanced and fits the scenes wonderfully.

Review brief: Wow, where do I start with this one. The DVD is crammed with countless short scenes which involve various combinations of 4 females and 2 male actors. The end scene includes them all, squeezed onto the bed. You can choose through the menu who you would like to appear of the scene, but you can bypass all that and choose from a list of actors who are in each scene. The scenes themselves are quite short - about 5 min on average each, but there are 18ish of them which includes multi-angle in each scene. Each scene takes place on a boring dull bed, but hey - it's the sex I want to see not scenery. The girls themselves are in my opinion quite attractive and the guys are average in appearance. There is limited extras on the disc, just 3 hidden scenes for you to find, but I went straight to them on my software player.

Review brief: Frankly, I don't know what film the rest of these reviewers watched. I don't watch porns for the sound, or the plot, or the special effects. I watch them to get aroused... and that's where this film is lacking. Sure, the women are quite attactive, but I can see naked attractive women on late night Cinemax. In short, we we're most looking for in this film is what it lacks... torrid, unabashed, uninterrupted sex. Most of the sex is very cold, artsy, and staged (rather than "hot" and spontaneous) with far too many special effects, cuts, and other BS mixed in. And, there's too much masturbation and lesbian sex... not enough of the good stuff (male-female). Moreover, to top it off, the main gal (Sasha) doesn't do anything other than get herself off (I don't buy that it's her in the very, very brief tiger sex scene). While other reviewers might use terms like Stylish, Incredible, Different, Artist, "a visual feast", etc., I'd be most likely to use the terms Boring, Unending, Repetitive, and so forth.
