Review brief: Between the Sheets would be a good place for you to be with your significant other while watching this Wicked feature porn. Thats assuming your lover enjoys couples sex with a bit of a storyline. Kaylani Lei is the featured performer here, appearing in four of the six scenes. She also does the voice-over for the story, which basically relates her tale of one womans search for Mr. Right. The sex is subdued, shot in nice locations, accompanied by soft music. Condoms are used in every girl/boy scene. There is the token girl/girl encounter (Kaylani and Lezley Zen in a bar restroom), which involves a lot of licking and finger insertion, but no toys. The cast is attractive, with Charmane Star and Kirsten Price as other girls looking for love in all the wrong places. The guys include Chris Evans, Brad Armstrong (who also directed), Tommy Gunn, Barrett Blade, and Steven St. Croix. Review brief: European Teen Dream may be what the French, Germans, and Slavs enjoy in porn, but it doesnt fly well on this side of the Pond. If this was all porn has to offer, the industry would die a fast death. Throw in poor camerawork (often out of focus or too close to the performers) and you can just about discount it completely. Review brief: Not too long ago I reviewed a flick which I dubbed the worst porn movie of all time (or words to that affect). I now have to rate that piece of junk #2. The new leader: Alternative Worldz #1: Atlanta. That this could ever be marketed as porn is an insult to an industry that has few scruples. Aside from one hardcore scene between Tabitha Stern and her hubby Jonathan Stern (the only male in the cast), and four lezouts, there is no sex to speak of (with the exception of the final scene, which gets its own category). The entire movie is nothing more than rigorously tattooed, overly pierced, heavyset, unattractive women painting themselves, poring milk and dripping candle wax on their bodies, and various other unappealing acts. This is the DVD version of the cable show Real Sex. I defy any red-blooded male (above the age of 12) to get a hard-on over the antics of these often obese women. Review brief: "La Fragancia de la Pasion" was released in 1999 by Adam and Eve as "The Fragrance of Passion." This time it is dubbed, I believe, in Italian. Luckily for all English-speaking viewers, there is very little dialogue. Ashton Moore introduces each of the scenes with just a couple short sentences about flowers and romance. Yep, it's a couples flick to the extreme, but a rather well done one if you're into that kind of porn. Nick Orleans directs, which means there will be plenty of slow motion, special effects up the ying-yang, soft music, upscale sets, and well-dressed, beautiful people. The sex is passionate, not a hair-tug or butt spank to be found. There is no anal sex, and only one semi-accidental facial. Condoms abound. There is one standard token lesbian scene (complete with dildo). Among the women, Moore, Alexandra Silk, Temptress, and Jenny McArther look absolutely stunning.
