To say that my expectations are in the toilet is probably an understatement. Initial Reaction: Its far from a great interactive DVD, but it has me wanting to see much more of Lana Moore! Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting a fresh face with a virtual title Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a well developed virtual title Audio /Video Quality: The audio is a bit on the low side, which means you have to crank up the volume if you want to hear it decently. Theres also a few background noises. The video leaves much to be desired. Its overlit and shows some very noticeable pixelation to the point you might think youre watching some of it on the original Atari system. On top of that, some of it is even a bit out of focus.

Review brief: NOTE: There seems to be more than a little confusion as to the title of this DVD. The title on the cover reads: Eye Contact Young True Amateurs Volume 2 I fully took this to mean the movie was called Young True Amateurs 2 when looking at the cover, but the movie is actually called Eye Contact 2 and is labeled as such on the DVD and listed as such on RAME. This seems to be more than a little confusing, especially if a person wants to recommend this movie to somebody else. Hopefully Homegrown puts a little more thought into their covers and how they word things in the future to end this confusion. Im listing this review under Young True Amateurs 2 as thats the way most stores appear to have it listed, although in the review Im going to refer to it as Eye Contact 2 as thats actually the name of the movie.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody trying to quit watching porn Who Should Avoid It: Couples and anybody who wants some feeling with their porn Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and well balanced without any background noises for the most part. There are a few areas where somebody tried adding artistic effects to the audio which makes it interfere with the movie in a big way. The video has a slightly soft feel, and a hint of grain. Its normally well lit, but there are a few areas where some artistic effects are once again attempted, and instead interfere with the video.

Who Should Watch It : Amateur porn fans without much money Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants full sex scenes or decent technical aspects Audio /Video Quality: The audio is just a couple steps above suck. Its often clear, but frequently the music is the only audio you have. Theres also a fair amount of dubbing, and background noises, which always turns me off. The video, however, is surprisingly good even when one doesnt consider how horribly done the audio is. Its normally well lit and shows hardly any grain, but there are a few soft focus problems.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting fresh and realistic faces Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting nastier sex Audio /Video Quality: The audio is pretty clear and well balanced for the most part, but there are a few spots that are a little muddy. The video is realistically lit, rather than showing everything with bright lights. Although I like to see everything, this works for me too due to the reality of it. The picture is slightly grainy, with occasionally flashes of pixelation, but is clear right out to the edge. Unfortunately, you get to see a bit of the crew poking in now and then.

The audio is pretty clear and well balanced, although there are a few background noises. The video is pretty well lit, but does have a bit of grain to it. You also see shadows and hints of the crew several times throughout the feature. Its better than VHS, but not a lot. Music: None. Menus: The menus are nothing special, but still done decently.

The video has a little grain, but is consistent out to the edges and normally well lit. There are a couple moments when you can see a bit of the camera in the field of view and a couple moments with bad pixelation, but theyre quickly moved past.

Initial Reaction: Its pretty hit or miss, with the hits being just as strong as the misses. Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting a light all girl feature with a decent balance between natural sex and toys Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants implants, girls going at it naturally, or girls seeing how nasty they can be Audio /Video Quality: The audio is pretty clear and decently balanced. I didnt notice any background noises, but some of the audio gets a little muddy and hollow at times. The video is also okay. Theres some natural lighting used in a few scenes that occasionally causes a few extra shadows, as well as bleaching out some of the colors.

Initial Reaction: This explosion is more of a dud than a blast. Who Should Watch It : Fans of internal pop shots Who Should Avoid It: Fans of high technical qualities Audio /Video Quality: The audio is pretty clear and well balanced. Theres a few background noises, but none of them overtake the scene with the exception of sometimes hearing the performers being given directions. The video is extremely grainy, looking a little worse than film when it isnt treated right. I know that some directors occasionally use filters to give scenes a little more artistic feel. I dont know if it was done here or not, but regardless it hurt the feature. The lighting is mixed, with much of it being natural lighting.

The video is pretty good, but does have a few problems. There are couple waves of fuzziness that flashed through my screen, but nothing else that really stands out. For being over five years old, Allure looks and sounds pretty good. Music: The music is pretty standard porno music, with a bit of action music thrown in, and nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

Initial Reaction: Disappointment. Who Should Watch It : Anybody who wants fun sex with real women that you havent seen hundreds of times before Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants high technical aspects or a lot of anal sex Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty standard for gonzo porn. The audio is pretty good, but is frequently a bit on the soft side. There are also a few problems with the balance now and then, almost all of which are during the setup scenes, which are often hard to hear. The video has some very slight grain and is normally well lit, but the soft focus problems and shakes that do get in the way a few times. Music: None. Menus: The menus are the standard VCA menus that Ive often complained about.

The video is also pretty clear, but there is a little bit of grain. As often happens in Nick Orleans features, theres a fair amount of slow motion, but its normally nicely done. This means theres also a fair amount of dubbing, but its normally done pretty well also. Music: As with most of Nick Orleans features, Saint provides the music, which is almost always a very good thing.
