Initial Expectations: Most of Wicked’s movies and DVDs have impressed me, and I have no reason to expect different here.

Initial Reaction: Everybody has their off days, and this was apparently made on one of Jim Enright’s.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody expecting Wicked’s normal high quality

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is pretty clear and well balanced, with no background noises. The video is pretty good, but does have a few problems. There are couple waves of fuzziness that flashed through my screen, but nothing else that really stands out. For being over five years old, Allure looks and sounds pretty good.

Music: The music is pretty standard porno music, with a bit of action music thrown in, and nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The main menu gives a few nice glimpses of the movie before getting on with a simple, but nice looking menu. As usual with Wicked, the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of the scene and a title for each scene.

The Feature: Long ago Alex Sanders was a jewel thief. He’s now turned over a new leaf and is working as a security consultant to help museums safeguard themselves against people like himself. He doesn’t realize, however, that his former partner Stacy Valentine still has her eye on some of the gems they once tried to steal together.

Stacy Valentine starts things out with Alex Sanders, straddling his legs and kissing him passionately. He enjoys the fruits of her flesh orally before pulling her up so she can return the favor. Stacy moves on to let Alex have his way with both her pussy and ass before taking a very impressive pop in her mouth. It’s an okay scene, but could have been much better. The camera often seemed a little off. When Alex went down on Stacy, it looked like he was giving her one heck of a great rimming, but you could never see it. Likewise, when Stacy went down on him, the camera seemed so focused on Alex’s cock that Stacy’s beautiful face was often lost. Unfortunately, this kind of camera work continued throughout the entire feature.

Jonathan Morgan takes on bleached blonde bombshell Sindee Coxx in his office in the second scene. Sindee spreads herself wide for Jonathan so he can easily warm her up orally, and Jonathan frequently looks up to make sure he’s getting just the reaction he wants. Sindee returns the favor with some great knob gobbling and a smile on her face before turning around to brace herself on Jonathan’s desk as he fucks her. They work through a few of the common positions before Sindee takes Jonathan’s ball butter on her stomach. It’s another okay scene, but nothing special in any way.

Stacy Valentine and Sindee Coxx celebrate in the manner that most men enjoy watching best, namely hot lesbian sex. Sindee takes the first trip down under, and energetically gobbles Stacy’s gash before letting Stacy reciprocate, licking and rubbing her nub. After messing around a bit, the girls finish things up with a little sixty-nining. The girls have decent chemistry, but the scene feels as if they’re both trying to hold back or like they aren’t sure quite how things are to go. It’s an okay at best scene, which is too bad, since I was really looking forward to seeing these two lovelies working each other over.

Alexandra Silk takes on Mickey G. and Alex Sanders in the penultimate scene after interviewing them for TV. Alexandra works the middle both ways, so she can sample each of the guys and they all have a chance to work each other over (except for the guys of course). Alexandra lets each guy take a turn in her snatch before letting them DP her. She finishes things with a great double facial, and never shies away from a single drop. It has some of the same problems with the camera work as the previous scenes, but Alexandra’s obvious enthusiasm raises this one up a bit.

Finally, Mickey G. works on cute bleached blonde Lexi Eriksson, who looks more than a little hot in her red stockings and garter belt. Lexi lets Mickey lick her kitty before sucking and stroking his schlong. They move on through doggie and missionary before Lexi takes a decent facial. It’s another scene that’s a little below average, and as usual here, nothing really special.

Ironically, Allure doesn’t have too much alluring about it. The plot reminded me of why so many people make fun of adult movies. Sadly, the camera work wasn’t much better. It was more common than not for much of the action to take place off-screen, and not that common to see both the penetration and the star’s reaction to it on the screen at the same time. The editing also felt sub-par, with several moments where it looked like the talent was trying to figure things out between them. Sadly, although there’s a lot of talent among the talent, all of them also appeared to be a little slow here too. Surprisingly, Allure is one heck of a disappointment.

As usual, each bio is tailored to fit the overall menu style and includes a few photos, a bit of personal information, and a link to the star’s scene. Trailers are included forThe Kissing Game, Hell on Heels, Flashpoint, Double Feature!, The Bride of Double Feature, Dream Quest, Knockout, Pornogothic, Satyr, Sex Safari, Vengeance, and Working Girl. The photo gallery lasts two minutes with about six seconds per nice looking snapshot. There’s also the standard Wicked extras of promotional materials, the Wicked Casino, Wicked Web, a company profile, a list of Wicked’s award winners and nominees, and a commercial for the Free Speech Coalition.

Overall: Currently Allure can be found online for between $15 and $26, with most stores offering it for around $20. Rent this one first, or at least pick it up at the low end. Almost everything about it is average at best, from the sex to the transfer to the extras.

Note to Wicked: I hope you add this one to your lower budget line soon.
