Initial Expectations: I have yet to be impressed much with any Brookland Brothers release. I’m not expecting that to change here.

Initial Reaction: It’s one of the better episodes in the series, but still not quite average.

Who Should Watch It : Amateur porn fans without much money

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants full sex scenes or decent technical aspects

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is just a couple steps above “suck”. It’s often clear, but frequently the music is the only audio you have. There’s also a fair amount of dubbing, and background noises, which always turns me off. The video, however, is surprisingly good even when one doesn’t consider how horribly done the audio is. It’s normally well lit and shows hardly any grain, but there are a few soft focus problems.

Music: The music is pretty much the only audio in the feature, and ranges from a decent rock beat to the stuff that’s banned by the Geneva Convention in POW camps.

Disc Problems / Complaints: There’s no time stamp! I frequently like to jump around in movies or go to specific places in the feature, but without a time stamp, which as I understand it takes next to no effort to include on a DVD, I can’t. The lack of a time stamp always makes a DVD feel a little half-assed to me.

Menus: The main menu is a kind of glorified chapter menu. It lets you choose whether to watch a specific girl or all of them. If you select a girl, you have the choice on what you want to see of them, such as panty peeks, stripping, masturbations, or actual sex.

The Feature: The Brookland Brothers’ Casting Couch mixes together several types of scenes for amateur action. There’s masturbation, voyeurism, strip teases, and even a little sex. The scenes don’t have any lead-in to them, and nicely move along.

Autumn, a slightly chunky brunette, starts things off. She loosens her clothes up just enough to get at herself easily, and continues to strip down after getting herself going. She seems to enjoy rubbing her nub, and keeps a smile on her face much of the time as she mastubates. She showers and gets dressed next, before going to work on herself with a pink dildo, and finally sucking a little cock (and yes, I mean a little cock). She slowly sucks, licks, and strokes it until it explodes on her tits. Although Autumn isn’t the best looking girl I’ve seen in a fuck flick, I can’t help but like her. She really looks to be having fun throughout all of her scenes, and is quick to flash a smile. There’s a lot to dislike here, but Autumn’s attitude goes a long way in helping me forget it.

Leggy brunette Georgina is next, with a scene from Pacific Northwest Amateurs: Masturbation 1, and quickly shows some moves that makes me think she’s an exotic dancer. She plays with her clam a bit with her fingers, and notices the camera just enough to raise the scene up a notch. It’s a pretty good scene that would have probably been great if we would have been allowed to hear Georgina. After that she gets busy with a guy on the couch in a scene that’s also included on Pacific Northwest Amateurs: Hardcore 1. After plenty of passionate kissing, Georgina breaks out her partner’s cock to stroke and suck. He returns the favor before fucking Georgina missionary and doggie style before popping on her back. It’s a fun scene with great chemistry. The guy has a bit of wood problems, but Georgina saves it with her smiles and comments like telling him to slow down. It’s a nice scene and one that has made Georgina one my favorite girls out of what I’ve seen from the Brookland Brothers.

Finally, Arial, a decent looking brunette with way too many tattoos, takes matters into her own hands. She shows herself off to the camera while diddling herself in a chair and then heads up to a bedroom to strip, shower, and get dressed again while barely ever cracking a smile. Finally she heads back to the bed for a bit of action that’s also included in Pacific Northwest Amateurs: Masturbation 1 slowly warms herself up with her fingers before breaking out a jackrabbit-styled vibe. It’s slow, natural, and basically boring, although it does have a nice and real orgasm at the end.

Casting Couch 4 ends up as a nice surprise from the Brookland Brothers. Yes, it has the same weak technical problems that plague all of their features, but more importantly, it has a couple girls that look to enjoy sex here. Autumn is a little heavier than most girls you see in porn flicks, but also shows much more enjoyment than most porn stars. Georgina shows much the same enthusiasm, and between the two of them and their smiles I actually got some wood and found myself enjoying this one. Sadly Arial brings it down a little with her dumpy looks and lack of personality, but the other two are good enough that I can forget about Arial. Casting Couch 4 is an okay amateur porn flick despite its technical problems.

Overall: Currently, most of the Brookland Brothers DVD can be found online for $10. I’d be tempted at that price here. Georgina and Autumn both do a great job, and Arial is pretty typical for the rest of the girls in the Brookland Brothers movies. The technical aspects are hit and miss, and sadly there aren’t any extras.

Note to Brookland Brothers: If you could continually use girls like Autumn and Geogina, people might actually give you a little notice in the good way. A little care towards your technical aspects would also help a lot.
