I really have tried to like this series from Wicked, but it seems to fall flat every time I view another volume. They do an outstanding job of assembling some wonderful talent, and the production values are once again top-notch, but the performers themselves dont really seem to be into it, and the editing leaves something to be desired. Once again, too much time is spent on reaction shots of the female performers and not enough time on penetration shots. Plus, once it seems the fucking is hitting a steady clip, the camera then zooms in onto another couple or small group fucking. The biggest problem with orgy movies is that there always seems to be the feeling that the viewer is missing out on something because he/she can hear moaning and fucking going on elsewhere. Maybe this series needs to be longer. Maybe shorter. But, if these problems dont get corrected, it will stay the same as it is now. It must have a fan base out there for it to be all these volumes, and with the star-studded lineup, you would think that the product would be better. Sadly, its not. [read the full review]

"A Gay Man's Take on Straight Porn" So, I bought this movie not expecting much. I haven't really been impressed with Kira Kener in the past, and the back cover really didn't tell me much. Yet... I found myself intrigued with the movie. So, was it a waste of money? The Movie: I was very impressed with Les Bitches. The direction, acting, story, and sex are all very tight. I would have to say this is up there with HeartBreaker in terms of quality, and Paul Thomas really has some interesting little touches in the movie. The movie follows Kira Kener, Roxanne Hall, and Lezley Zen, the three bitches. Each woman has a seperate story that get pulled together by the men in their lives. This does create a slightly disjointed story. Still, each character is very fleshed out, and I felt that the story focused on each character as much as it should. There is less a plot, as there are simple characters heading towards their downfall. Kira plays a woman who is so obsessed with herself that the first time we see her she is masturbating to a mirror. With a few minor edits, Barely Legal Innocence #1 could be an X-rated flick fit for hotel rooms instead of a XXX-rated flick for strokers. Call this Porn Lite! In typical Clive McLean style, the cameraman remains about 25 from the sex action, thereby giving us great shots of the surrounding scenery, but not much in the way of close-ups. My major complaint with McLean throughout his illustrious career is that he seems to be so proud of the sets he utilizes that he insists on showing us these panoramic shots instead of in-your-face close-ups. As for the sex, cute blonde Keri Sable starts things off with Nick Manning, who finally looks decent with his new, shorter haircut. This is a great scene, full of heat and enthusiasm. Keri never looked so good. She rides Nick (both CG and RC) like shes on a Disneyland thrill ride and takes a good facial. Very strong opener! Unfortunately, it goes downhill from there. To be clear, this is NOT a compilation with an emphasis on babes wearing sexy lingerie prior to or during the sex action but rather it is a standard compilation of mish, mash scenes with a catchy, marketable title. The compilation contains the standard Private fare hot looking females engaging in group sex, anal, DPs and hot sex. I found the scenes to be a mixed bag with my favorites being the 1st scene with Sophie Evans looking as hot as ever as a blonde getting a DP in cowgirl, the 4th scene with Shay and Wanda dressed in sexy latex outfits, and the last scene with Delphine, who is a gorgeous blonde getting some good anal. Ninn's strengths lie in his understanding of lighting, his eye for settings and his ability to frame the best shots. Unfortunately Ninn lost me with his constantly skewed yellow color pallet and effects that failed to compliment the sexual action. This disc does manage to produce a few quality scenes and a great find in Mercedes. Plot "San Fransisco 1965 and the CIA is using brain bending techniques to test the psychosexual extremes of their subjects. Mind control is the name of the game, and mind blowing chicks are the bait. Wicked Sex Party 3 is not a huge orgy, at its core, with couples only inches apart from each other, at least for most parts of the film. Instead, its a sex party in which couples gather in parts of the house and fuck quite intensely. There's one scene where there's some switching of partners, but for the most part, that is quite limited. I had high hopes for this title, being a huge Gere fan as well as being impressed with some Antonio Passolini's other works. After watching Club Sin I am hard pressed to believe this is the same Antonio Passolini that directed "Cafe Flesh 2", "DMJ5", and "Flesh". As far as capturing the sexual action Passolini does a horrible job in my opinion. There are a few powerful performances in this one that are "dulled" by his poor camera work. This disc is a real shame, because Ashlyn Gere, Gwen Summers, and Chole deliver, but Passolini fails to make the most of their talents.
