Filled with frat-boy pranks and sorority-sister skanks, "Coed Fever", an exceptional, 1980 release from Caballero and Robert McCallum, offers up some of the best that the Golden Age has to offer in terms of collegiate comingling, copulation, and carnality. [read the full review]

If you've seen it before, you know Coed Fever is one of the must own classics. If you haven't and you are a fan of the classics, this is one to pick up now. The movie has been given horrible treatment on the disc by Caballero, as per their norm, but for it's age, it isn't too bad if you can forgive the horrible disc mastering. The disc is hard to find but is well worth seeking out and well worth the purchase price. [read the full review]

review from 10/6/2004:
Synopsis Being a history buff and a porn fiend can be tough sometimes, but The Ribald Tales of Canterbury made it a little fun. I've recently spent some time re-exploring my mis-spent youth, and this is my first review. The Tales is essentially the stories a bunch of travelers tell each other on their way to Canterbury. See Geoffrey Chaucer for more details. There is a bunch of horse riding with recounts (and sex scenes) sprinkled throughout. The Cast There are some ugly motherfuckers up in here, but I feel the women more than make up for it. The Lord of Bath (Bud Lee) is homely, but the Queen (Josephine Carrington) is very fine. Hyapatia is the lead for this flick, and she has 3 really nice scenes, but she wasn't the stand out for my stand out. One thing that I found interesting was the averageness of the women, and I don't mean that in a bad way. For instance Cheri Janvier is an attractive woman, but her proportions are all wrong for porn. Big thighs and butt, with small titties. [read the full review]

review from 8/28/2019:
The lovely 80's lass, Taija Rae, has been three-timing a trio of men--an upscale gentleman (John Leslie), an egotistical hot-shot (Joey Silvera), and a sensitive nice guy (Jerry Butler)--and she's devised a game, wherein each man opens a mystery gift (and fucks her) to determine who will win her hand in marriage. Of course, Taija's jealous "friend", adult industry legend Nina Hartley, concocts some plans of her own upon hearing about the little contest that her buddy has going on. While who--if anyone--will ultimately win Taija's affection remains to be seen, one thing that's for certain is that there'll be a lot of sucking and fucking along the way. Such is the case in "Spoiled", a decent, 1987 release from director Stuart Canterbury and Caballero. [read the full review]

It seems like just about everyone is fucking everyone else, and those who aren't fucking are peeking in on those who are, in "I Like To Watch", a very good, 1982 release from Caballero and director Paul G. Vatelli. While a television fashion show that Pat Manning is putting on with the aid of her lovely, brunette assistant, Bridgette Monet, serves as the backdrop for this sexual escapade, it's truly its finely-captured and well-played erotic encounters that set it apart. Running length: 2 hrs DOP: Compilation Female cast: Sorry, the only ones I recognized were Taylor Moore, and maybe Tiffany Million, but they were all attractive. Male cast: n/a Audio/Video: Although it varied somewhat, for the most part it was very well done. The audio was clear with very little porn music. Extras: Animated scene selection Photo gallery Trailers The Movie: Muff Dive Squad is an all girl compilation from Caballero that was in the $3.95 bargain bin. What comes to mind? Yikes? Earplugs? Time to calibrate the Skankometer? That's what I thought too. The name was cute, and although I consider most cunnilingus fast-forward material, I will sometimes throw one of these blowouts onto an order, with hit and miss results, usually miss. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised. The main menu is a colorful water theme complete with a submarine and snorkle which made me laugh. There's ten unidentified scenes in all, and most of them are pretty good. [read the full review]

review from 5/6/2007:
Although described as a hardcore spoof of Charlie's Angels, this is actually a very dark, almost depressing film featuring outstanding performances from some of the most talented late 70s hardcore actors. The production values and atmosphere are also very effective. A very good film for those who just can't stand modern porn. [read the full review]
KCJames'
review from 2/8/2006:
Very "dark" plot including scenes of kidnapping, bondage and forced sex. The acting is fairly good although the A/V quality isn't the best (e.g. - some sex scenes substitute music for the actual sounds from the actors/actresses). This movie is famous for as lustful a lesbian scene as you will ever see. In it, Leslie Bovee eats, nay, devours Abigail Clayton's sweet, young pussy so voraciously, it borders on cannibalism. The camerawork is terrific as Abigail appears to gasp while Bovee firmly holds onto her squirming, orgasming body - feverishly sucking and tongue-lashing the pretty young actress' spasming pussy with all of her sexual energy until it actually seems that Clayton can take no more (this is one scene where the actual moans, groans and lip-smacking from the actresses would have added to the already volcanic nature of the action). review from 2/4/2003:
Length: 84:20 Year: 1977 The Caballero dvd of A Coming Of Angels is presented in full-screen which doesnt appear to be correct because during the ending credits the names are cut off on the left and right of the screen, but during the rest of the movie you dont notice anything really being cut off. Unlike earlier Caballero dvds this one is on one track so you dont have those layer changes that cause the pauses, such as on Amanda By Night. The story to this movie is that Mark (Jamie Gillis) is an evil kidnapper who sells the women he kidnaps to various buyers. Before he does this though he and his evil sidekicks train the women how to be sexually submissive. This movie was meant to be a take off of Charlies Angels, with Carrie (Annette Haven), Jennifer (Abigail Clayton), and Robin (Leslie Bovee) playing the angels. Jennifer has been kidnapped by Mark and his gang and so the other two angels are out to find her and that is the basic plot to the movie. Robert (John Leslie) has a serious problem throughout the movie. [read the full review]

review from 4/28/2002:
There are some pretty hot things going on in this backyard. We start with the cliché of a hunk cleaning the pool. Naturally, the young guy of the house comes out to bask in the sun and swim, spies the pool man, and were off. In this instance the pool man is Zachery Scotthe of the big schlongand the young guy is Brock Hensley, a blond twink who loves sex. While taking Scotts length with ease, the action is spied on by Dante Foxx and Kurt Wagner. These join in at the end, and then Brock and Zachery go indoors to do it. Now Dante and Kurt begin to make out. As Kurt is sucking Dante, Dante strokes Kurts cock with his foot. (If youre a foot fetishist, folks, youll love this. Its a very handsome foot.) Brock returns. (Either Zach had another pool to clean or Brock exhausted him.) Brock goes to work on both cocks, sometimes sucking both at the same time. Then he sits on Dantes, and boy does he ride it! He bounces harder than Paul Revere did when he rode off to warn the colonists. Kurt s not left out. Brock sucks him while riding and then Dante boffs him, too. [read the full review]

Still up to his dirty-talking, deep-dicking tricks, John Leslie, and his slow buddy, now played by Blair Harris, find themselves up to no good again, as the two are both put in charge of a friend's bar whilst she's away and also wind up on an anti-sex "doctor"'s, Bridgette Monet's, failing television show. Armed with a telescope and an overactive libido, Tommy Byron finds himself becoming more and more detached from reality as he peeps in on his super-hot (and super-freaky!) neighbors, Joanna Storm and Laurie Smith. Of course, as he continues his descent into despondence, his aunt (Honey Wilder) begins to take note. Her solution? To hire a private psychologist, the lovely Kay Parker, to treat young Tom while she''s away for a weekend. Needless to say, this brings about its own unique set of sexy circumstances...and things heat up! So goes "Private Teacher", a very good, 1983 release from director Robert McCallum and Caballero. review from 4/22/2012:
A feature from the early 80s. Kay Parker is a therapist brought in to coax withdrawn teen Tom Byron out of his shell. Mainly MF sex with one FF bathtub scene, one solo-female scene, and a brief j/o by Tom Byron. Your opinion will largely depend on whether you like Playboy or Hustler, as this is definitely the former. Sex is vanilla and not so explicit as modern stuff. Kay Parker is only in one sex scene. But overall it's fun and well done. [read the full review]

review from 7/29/2001:
When Zara White first burst onto the adult movie screen in early 1990, she just so happened to appear in two of the very best works of erotica ever made: "House of Dreams" directed by Andrew Blake, and "Buttman's Ultimate Workout" directed by John Stagliano. Both movies received lots of critical acclaim, and both were extremely popular with an audience who were hungry for quality videos amidst the eighties glut of hardcore junk. Dark-haired, thin and with stunning good looks, Zara became a star overnight with the obviously winning combination of beauty and carnality. In both HOD and BUW, she appeared with the now legendary Rocco Siffredi, performing anal on camera and delivering a performance which made audiences (and their private parts) stand up and take notice. Zara then began to star in other videos, none of which really maintained the quality (not to mention success) of her work with Andrew Blake (where she had another scene with Rocco) or with Evil Angel (as she appeared in Buttman's European Vacation). Pros: Angel, Ginger Lynn, one of my all time favorite sex scenes where Angel masturbates while she watches Ginger Lynn have sex Cons: Audio/Video is horrid, no features worth mentioning, plot is horrid, necrophlia-like sex scene, gives the impression that a woman makes up her mind to have sex with you only after she has your dick in her mouth, sacreligious Captivated by: Angel(she is so attractive and innocent looking), Ginger Lynn(gotta love those hips) Plot: Angel is taken away from her boarding school by Ginger Lynn. She watches Ginger have sex then is taken to a whorehouse where she watches sex. Then she is auctioned off. She escapes and runs into a couple of police officers who take her home for sex. Then she is chased by a flasher who forces her to have sex. Then she is dead and has sex with an undertaker. Then she wakes up and has lesbian sex in a stationwagon while the Village People(YMCA) watch outside and masturbate onto the window. Really bad points: 1. Sex with the undertaker starts out as if she were dead. [read the full review]

Well, this video touts big breasted latinas. First off, not all the women have big breasts. I mean, when you look at a big breast video, you expect them to have something bigger than a C or D. The mojority of these women are about that size. Disappointment number 1. Secondly, not all of them are Latina. A handful could be said to be latina. If the others are, they have it somewhere far back in their ancestry... so far back that they don't look latina at all. The scenes were pretty standard fare, with a little bit of story at the beginning to get the scene going. The first and second scenes were definitely the best and the only reason to even get this video. [read the full review]

I picked up "Load Lovers" because it was on sale for around $6.00. I liked the title and was hoping to watch some hot chicks suck up some hot loads. For $6.00 I had nothing to lose. Quite simply it was "average." But I give it props for a cool blowjob scene that used some cool close-up angles that bobbed with the bitch as she ate her cream pop. The first scene involves a very sexy blonde who videotapes her naughty session with some dude. They take turns putting the camera in various angles while she gobbles on his cock, plays with her pussy, he eats her out from behind, and while they fuck. Nothing all that exciting here. A lot of common angles. Things heat up a touch more when he finally pops her super-tight ass...but unfortunately the best angle of that (her ass up high as his cock pumps down into it) only lasts for a few seconds. All bets are off when a struggling actor who also happens to be a smooth-talking ladies' man, Jamie Gillis, signs on to be a part of a plot hatched by a wealthy, Hollywood mogul to cheat his relatives (a sister and four nieces) out of their inheritance from his dying (...and wealthier...) anti-sex crusader of a brother. Of course, this is a porno, so Jamie and his pals (John Leslie and Paul Thomas) are tasked with bedding all of the women in the family (with proof) to demonstrate their profound lack of morality and to get them kicked out of the will. Here is a splendid little classic from 1979, produced by Harold Lime and directed by Robert McCallum. As is usual with "Golden Age" classics, the plot, acting, exterior shots and general production values are outstanding. This flick was shot on location in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and San Francisco. They dont make them like this anymore. Jamie Gillis plays a washed up B-movie star who is down on his luck. He has been reduced to escorting starlets to movie premieres, a service for which his agent pays him a few bucks plus expenses. He still makes the rounds of Hollywood parties, however, and at one such event, his host, J.C. Church, observes him seducing Desiree Cousteau. It is a hypnotic scene; Cousteau was a beautiful girl with wonderful, natural breasts. Georgina Spelvin secretly observes them, while being secretly observed herself by J.C. Church telephones Gillis that night with an interesting proposition. J.C. is the brother of Edgar Church, a rich industrialist from whom J.C. stands to inherit money. [read the full review]

Trouble, the 1989 Vidco release, stars Tori Welles, one of porns steamiest performers of all time. This is a decent flick, as directed by Fred J. Lincoln, but it includes most of the standard porn film clichés of that era. That is, marginal storyline, plenty of large breasted women (not a girl in the bunch), lots of from-behind camera angles (grrrr!), and quick cutaways after the money shot (another grrrr!). Tori wakes up one morning with amnesia, not remembering what she did the previous night, and not having the slightest idea of the identity of the dead guy laying next to her in bed. She splits and meets up with her attorney, Randy West. He tells her to go home, that hell take care of her mess. Next thing you know, Tori is in jail on murder charges. Once all the bets were placed, the girl that was hired to do the blowjob was allowed to start. A few minutes into the bj, the girl got angry at her manager for constantly yelling at her, so she quit halfway thru the event. Suddenly the cheering crowd quickly became an angry mob, and demanded their money back. Gina decides to stand it for the girl that quit, and after easily getting the guy off under the time limit, Gina is informed that there is alot of money to be made in these contests. The girl that quit calls her friend Cythia Silkthroat on the telephone and tells her about this new girl that gives great blowjobs, and that she may be entering the Superbowl of Suckoff Championship. If people want to have sex for my entertainment, who am I not to watch them? That means, among other things, that I have absolutely nothing against "old school" porn. By the same token, however, I don't think "classic" movies are inherently better than what's made today. With that in mind, Blue Ribbon Blue presents itself as a greatest hits package of classic stars. Unfortunately, it's not. In fact, it was produced years ago before its performers were even considered legends, and its poor mastering reflect just how much of a thrown together effort it actually is. Had they known that it would be released in the 21st century, it's producers may have paid closer attention to what they included. [read the full review]

review from 10/23/2004:
Most of what I wrote about "The Ecstasy Girls" also applies to this film. This is a 1982 Harold Lime production, directed by Robert McCallum. With Veronica Hart and Annette Haven, there's more star power in this flick, but the final product is not quite as good as the wonderful "Ecstasy Girls." The plot is "Ecstasy Girls" in reverse. Here, Georgina Spelvin is the publisher of a soft-core porn mag called "Panther," featuring centerfolds of smart college girls. Some morality guardians form a committee called Morality over Madness (MOM), and try to put Panther out of business. Spelvin has to round up her centerfold graduates to go out and seduce the committee members, retain evidence of the hanky-panky, and ultimately blackmail the members into ceasing their assault on Panther magazine. Running Time: Approx. 95 min (There are no scene indexes or time codes on the DVD) Cast: Annette Haven, Veronica Hart, Jesie St. James, Georgina Spelvin, Desire Cousteau, Lisa De Leeuw, Tara Aire, Jacqueline Brooks, Frank Hollowell, Richard Bolla, Michael Morrison, Eric Edwards, and Mike Horner (who isn't even listed in the credits) Director: Robert McCulum Extras: Photo gallery and Jump to a Scene (I guess this is actually an extra feature when you don't have chapter markings on a DVD) Audio / Video Quality: The audio and video quality is better than what I would have expected for an adult film this old. The video is average and the audio echoes in spots, but is much better than other adult films of this age, such as the Original Debbie Does Dallas. The Review: Centerspread Girls kind of reminds me of my youth. It revolves around MOM trying to stop porn (or at least not let me have it). In this case, MOM is Morality Over Madness, a moral majority group which has been trying to shut down Panther magazine for years. [read the full review]

Let My Puppets Come is a real oddity in the world of adult film being the first, and only, adult puppet musical movie. The film is an adult puppet show that lampoons the adult film industry, with well-made puppets, extensive musical numbers, and a good heaping of low-brow humor. Let My Puppets Come isn't going to be for everyone in fact, the viewers that will genuinely enjoy the film will be in the minority. For the right viewer, though, Let My Puppets Come is a fun film. Caballero has done a poor job with their DVD release of the film with a low-quality picture and even lower quality sound and a version that is missing 35 minutes of the film. [read the full review]

I had heard some disturbing comments about it, but I can't imagine what it was that bothered people about this movie. I thought it was kinda cute. But then, I'm not 100 certain that I'm not some kinda pervert, because this is listed in the 'Fetish' category, too, so there could be something here that I'm missing. Sure, there was the part about about the dog fucking his mistress, but they're dang puppets, for christssakes! "The Violation of Tori Welles" is a good 1990 release from Caballero that’s essentially a compilation and that brings with it something of a bizarre twist. Weaving the various scenes together is an interspersed sequence of an intruder who’s apparently broken into Tori’s home. He rifles through her photos, magazines, and pictures…and he watches her videos, touches her AVN award, and ultimately sniffs and steals a pair of her panties. All of this is inter-cut between the five segments that make up the disc. [read the full review]

Synopsis Nurse Nancy is a VERY loosely plotted movie starring Sandra Scream and Zara Whites. Sandra and Zara are roommates. Sandra is a nurse who is over worked and under-paid. Zara is a call girl making big bucks but wishing she could do something more "meaningful". So they decide to swap jobs for a day. Cast: Zara Whites Sandra Scream Alicyn Sterling Peter North Marc Wallace Woody Long Tera Heart Rebecca Scene 1 In the opening scene, Zara is taking a bath in a Jacuzzi and we get to enjoy watching her play with herself. She is looking very scrumptious here and fans of Zara will appreciate this extended scene. Peter North appears and Zara immediately gives his ample member a little tongue bath. This is a very extended blow job starting with Peter out of the tub with clothes on, then he is in the tub with clothes on, then finally he is naked. Zara does a good job of pumping and sucking his timber here. Peter eventually returns the favor with some cunnilingus on the edge of the tub before giving her a little Doggie. [read the full review]

A simple call from a shady and manipulative ex-lover, Jamie Gillis, for a pair of hookers to service a high-end client goes horribly wrong for a madam with a heart of gold, Veronica Hart, when one of the two ladies meets her untimely demise in a swimming pool whilst on the job. Quickly, and despite trying to get out of the skin trade, Veronica finds herself buried deeper and deeper in a high stakes game of drugs, sex, and murder that can end in only one of two ways for the unsuspecting young woman...and only one of them is good. review from 3/7/2003:
Here is a Harold Lime/Robert McCallum classic from 1982 that is still famous over 20 years later. It won six adult film critic awards, including best picture. Because it was filmed near the end of the "golden age," there aren't quite as many exterior shots as there would have been in movies a few years older. The plot involves a madam named Amanda (Veronica Hart) who, as a favor to her former pimp and lover (Jamie Gillis), sets up an S & M session for a local politician. The girls that she sends for this session (Lisa de Leeuw and Samantha Fox) are later found dead. R. Bolla plays the straight-arrow homicide detective trying to solve the case, without much help from Amanda. To make matters worse, there's a corrupt vice squad cop (Ron Jeremy) who is constantly getting in the way. By today's standards, this is couples' fare, with relatively short sex scenes, and loads of plot. It's so good-hearted, it could almost be on the Family Channel. Veronica Hart gets to over-act and ham it up ridiculously. It's a good movie, but a poor DVD. [read the full review]

Well this was a recommended title I was put onto recently as I was looking for a good Zara White facial. This movie is a typical Andrew Blake style movie except there is more b/g sex than I have seen in the other films of his I have seen but I have only seen a handful so there that is but I quite enjoyed this one. It features the lovely Ashlyn Gere in a great role for her. She is riding around in a limo playing with herself in between the sex scenes. Rather than bore you with plot details which I don't really care about let's get to the sex. I will hit the points I really enjoyed in this film and there were many. It starts off with Zara being a voyeur while I believe it was 5 girls get in on with a guy in a room in another building. [read the full review]

Though she's buried among more recognizable actresses, she's the actual star of the movie. But that's not the secret. Sarah Bellomo is actually Roxanne Blaze, who like many pornstars, worked under a very temporary alias after first entering the business. That might not be news to some, but for many, Roxanne Blaze equals sex. She was not in the sex-for-entertainment business for very long, but while in front of the cameras Roxanne was placed upon a pedestal and considered by many to be the next big thing. Films like this built the reputation of the "golden age" of adult, i.e., the years 1975 through 1982. This 1981 film is, of course, a spoof on the 1980 mainstream film "9 to 5" that starred Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Dolly Parton, and Dabney Coleman. In the adult version their parts are play by Loni Sanders, Annette Haven, Lisa DeLeew, and Herschel Savage. There's even a very nice theme song take-off on the famous Dolly Parton song that went with the mainstream movie. Plot and acting are superior to most seen today, and the sex scenes not only fit the plot, they advance the plot. Although the sex is by today's standards strictly couples fare, this is still a very hot movie and well worthwhile. Technically the disc is quite good, although the reverse angle gimmick was simply annoying. The video quality and audio are very good, given the age of the source material. [read the full review]
