Review brief: Running Time: 114 min. Director: Akebi Haruno Cast: Anime featuring the voices of Inari Vachs and Tabitha Stevens Initial Expectations: I wasnt quite sure what to expect going into this one, but had some hopes. Initial Reaction: Its a decent series, but the set leaves me feeling ripped off. Who Should Watch It : Anybody who likes anime or is curious about it Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting to watch consensual sex or wants to feel a little value for their buck Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty impressive. The audio is clear and well balanced, as is the video. There arent any great feats of animation here, but for Japanese anime, it looks about as good as Ive seen it. Music: The music is about the same as what you hear on Japanese cartoons today, or at least it sounded about like what I heard in the thirty seconds of Pokemon I once endured. Its nicely balanced with the rest of the audio, and fits the cartoon feel very well. Menus: The menus are animated with the same feel as the movie.

General Impression This plays a bit like a documentary/science experiment. Luc Wylder hosts four 20 minute scenes. Review brief: Nikki Dial Exposed begins with a smiling, engaging, and very young Nikki in a scene from Ed Powers Dirty Debutantes 23. Even Ed, nearing 40, looks comically youthful. The scene, though standard Powers fare, is, thankfully, not one in which Ed takes a sexual role; the closest he comes to making love to Nikki is licking her juices off the dildo shes just finished using. Typically sloppy, the scene begins with a dog whining in the background, a little dog we eventually see nosing up to Nikki on the sofa; at one point the telephone rings. Review brief: Andrew Blake's "Adriana" is a disappointment and a continuation of the tailing-off that his movies have made in the past couple of years from their fetishistic high of editions such as "High Heels" and "Exhibitionists". Fetish - well, that's the problem, isn't it. Earlier Andrew Blake titles traded on his work for Penthouse, and they were a solid mix of truly beautiful women and genuinely erotic scenarios. There was plenty of stylish nudity, erotically-styled costumes and beautiful women finger-fucking. You'd get a token male who'd pork one of the ladies - usually as a punishment or to show her who was boss, but proceedings tended not to be in-your-face. It was like Penthouse but with fucking. Like the two films that have preceded it, ("Justine" and "The Villa"), "Adriana" is moving away from that style into the realms of mild BDSM and the result is not very erotic. Connoisseurs of BDSM - of which I am most definitely not a fan - will undoubtedly find "Adriana" too tame, and fans of Blake's earlier works will probably find the movie too fetishistic.

The biggest problem with this release is the fun usually contained in the Shane's World releases isn't present here and it is missed. Fans of tame sex will probably find the sex here to heavy for them whereas fans of really nasty sex probably won't find the sex intense enough for them. If you are a fan of previous Shane's World releases, I'd recommend a rental before a purchase to make sure this film is right for you.

Let's cross our fingers and find out... Capsule Review I'm really disappointed by this release. The cast looks strong, the NinnWorx label has promise, and Private doesn't skimp on their releases. Who Should Watch It : Orgy Fans Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who want complete and separate scenes Audio /Video Quality: The audio is very clear and nicely balanced. Although theres a ton of action around all the performers, you never have a problem hearing whoevers on screen at the time. Although the video is well lit with very few shadows, this is probably the worst video quality Ive seen on a Wicked DVD.

Review brief: Expectations I'm not sure what my expectations are. I really like some of Ninn's stuff, but other bits of his work are overproduced and goofy. This is actually directed by Barry Wood under the Ninn Worx log. I really like Jenna when she does hardcore, but I have no idea what her work will be like here. Let's cross our fingers and find out... Capsule Review I'm really disappointed by this release. The cast looks strong, the NinnWorx label has promise, and Private doesn't skimp on their releases. But this is really average overindulgent porn. There is nothing here that is really memorable. Technical I'm dissapointed by the technicals as well. While they are not bad by a long shot, they are not superlative either. Many scenes are too dark and somewhat fuzzy. Initial Reaction: Its the worst of the three titles in the Real Deal Amateurs series, but its still pretty good and a very good first time effort. Who Should Watch It : Anybody who wants to see realistic sex with real people who obviously love to fuck, suck, and play with themselves Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants enough silicone to raise the Titanic or women who moan as soon as somebody looks at them Audio /Video Quality: Amateur titles are notoriously low budget titles, so you dont expect all the bells and whistles technically. That said, the feature is much better than most people would expect. The audio balance comes and goes a little through the feature.

Review brief: According to her audio biography, Syren, the pretty Oriental who gets squaw duty in Brad Armstrongs The Good the Bad and the Wicked, carefully selects the movies she appears in, preferring those films that really showcase her acting ability. Maybe thats true. But I guess sometimes a check is nice, too. I cant imagine what else would have drawn her to appear in this picture. Though the boxcover, with its chicks in Old Western garb and the tagline, Missys in town with a few days to thrill, gives an impression of narrative, Wicked is, instead, a collection of seven more or less random sex scenes strung together like beads on a thin Western theme. No, not a theme, a gimmick: the sheer number of sex scenes tells you that much. Clocking in at just under an hour and a half, this film cant support seven sex scenes AND a story, or pay anything more than lip service to the Old West. So, sure, Missy rides into townpacking a big bag of nothing. Its up to the towns unofficial historian to jumpstart the action.
