Initial Reaction: Its very hot thanks to some great chemistry. Who Should Watch It : Fans of all girl action, fetishwear, and anybody who likes Privates Pirate series but would like something a little lighter Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who doesnt like all girl action, toys, or fetishwear Audio /Video Quality: The audio is normally very clear and well balanced. There are a couple minor spots, however where the audio disappears for a split second. It wouldnt even be noticeable except that it happens while Layla- Jade is getting spanked. The video is also very good.

Running time: over three hours (as claimed on the cover; I didn't have the patience to time it, but given how many trailers are here, it's a credible estimate). "Private DVD Sampler 3" features somewhere in the neighborhood of 130 trailers; there's considerable overlap with the second Private DVD sampler, but this newer sampler include trailers for DVDs like "The Last Muse", "Italian Flair", "External Ecstasy", and "Sex Opera." I've only seen a few of the recent batch of Private DVDs, and the trailers for them come across with more excitement than the movies did. These newer titles I've watched seem to place more emphasis on plot than older ones did, and this is reflected in the trailers (they're showier, with less sex and more depictions of leaden plotting and poor acting).

You might remember Carlos from Kristen Bjorns A World of Men. Anyway, hes got a nice big dick, but we only see him give it a few strokes before we switch over to the video. Its a seven-man orgy. Some of the guys are a little scrawny for my tastes, but its always nice to see a big pile of naked flesh rolling around on a bed. Unfortunately, this scene doesnt really work for me. The oral part goes on for too long (20 minutes is way to long to have to wait for penetration!) Things pick up a bit once the fucking starts, but to be honest, some of the guys here are just plain not attractive. A few are literally skin and bones! The only real bright spot to the scene is at the end, where we get to see the Carlos blow his load.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who loves the natural form of a woman, fans of Andrew Blakes style or Zara Whites, and anybody interested in B&D but is a little afraid of it Who Should Avoid It: Extreme bondage fans and people who want straight hardcore fucking without any eroticism Audio /Video Quality: Surprisingly, both the audio and video are very good. The audio is a little uneven, but it appears to have been done on purpose.

Date of Production: 2/2000 (DVD released 9/2000). Running time: ~ 1 hour, 54 minutes. I wanted to like "Best Friends" more than I did; not least among the things it has going for it are good sex scenes, but I found the movie curiously flat, and I predominantly blame this effect on the plot and acting. I don't watch plotted porn for complex, interwoven story lines, but a reasonable effort is always appreciated, and may even help me enjoy a movie a little more than usual (e.g., Masque). Conversely, a lackluster story and/or setting can really drag something down for me. Unfortunately, "Best Friends" falls into the latter category; the resulting movie is a mostly nondescript affair, despite some fine sex scenes. The story is a minor variation of the old "cool guy tries to get nerdy friend laid" formula (see "Talk Dirty to Me", et. al.).

She is in numerous recent Euro releases, where she usually displays tremendous energy (see Rocco's Initiations 3 and Rocco: Animal Trainer 4 in particular). I've only seen a few of the recent batch of Private DVDs, and the trailers for them come across with more excitement than the movies did. These newer titles I've watched seem to place more emphasis on plot than older ones did, and this is reflected in the trailers (they're showier, with less sex and more depictions of leaden plotting and poor acting).

I don't watch plotted porn for complex, interwoven story lines, but a reasonable effort is always appreciated, and may even help me enjoy a movie a little more than usual (e.g., Masque). Conversely, a lackluster story and/or setting can really drag something down for me. Unfortunately, "Best Friends" falls into the latter category; the resulting movie is a mostly nondescript affair, despite some fine sex scenes. The story is a minor variation of the old "cool guy tries to get nerdy friend laid" formula (see "Talk Dirty to Me", et. al.).

Review: I got no sexual experience in the world and found this disk to be educational. I also thought it was enjoyable to see the women naked and used as instructional aids. It sure beat looking at drawings or even pictures in some book. Cast: Synthia (aka Sylvia Sun), Nomi, Lidia, Dita, Hannah, Evelyn, Claudia (aka Veronica) Laura, Jean-Yves LeCastel, David Perry, Jean-Pierre Armand, Richard Langin This movie isn't subtitled, but if it was, "It's good to be David Perry" would be an apt choice. The man must fuck on film over 300 days a year, and he is in most of the scenes. Unlike the preceding volume 7 and following #9, Debauchery 8 has a minimum of stupid ass tricks. Instead it is the sort of JYL movie I prefer, with mostly one on one and two on one setups. We begin with tease footage of Synthia stripping for us. This is the athletic, hard bodied Hungarian blonde I have written about a lot lately. She is in numerous recent Euro releases, where she usually displays tremendous energy (see Rocco's Initiations 3 and Rocco: Animal Trainer 4 in particular). She is more subdued in her JYL appearances, such as Debauchery 9 and Assman 15 (no DVD for a few more months).
