Initial Expectations: Normally I think of Ed Powers as the kiss of death, but I enjoyed Cockless 8 so much that I can’t help but check out a few others in the series.

Initial Reaction: It’s another well done all girl feature that’s going to have me coming back for more.

Audio /Video Quality: Ed Powers is well known for his low budget approach, and things are no different here. The audio is pretty good, but sometimes a little off balance. It’s often hard to hear the girls if they’re talking, but Ed is always loud and clear. The video is fairly clear, but does have a kind of soft feel. There’s occasional soft focus problems, but they rarely last long. Ed also gets his camera into the field of view and shines an extra light or two around for his pictures that also interferes with things a bit.

Music: None.

Menus: The main menu is extremely simple and fairly unimpressive. He works the chapter menu into the main menu, which gives a nice view of the girl you’re choosing to see.

The Feature: Once again, Ed Powers takes his place behind the camera. It’s amazing how much truth there is to the old sayings such as “out of sight, out of mind”, as well as ones like “For the love of God, somebody put clothes on Ed Powers!”. In his Cockless series, Ed brings together some newer female talent, something his Dirty Debutantes series is well known for, with female talent that’s been around for a little while, while keeping his clothes on.

Blanca Day starts things out being interviewed by Ed. She says she’s bisexual, and throws a little attitude around while saying so that isn’t all that appealing. She lays back for Ed and plays with herself as he talks with her and takes a few pictures. She starts out with her fingers, and then uses a vibe Ed hands her, thankfully only letting his arm get on camera. She’s soon joined by Cherry Rain, who’s saved everybody time by showing up naked. Cherry’s an extremely cute girl with auburn hair and a nicely natural body. She quickly moves after Blanca’s tits while playing with her pussy, and then moves her mouth down to help her hand. Cherry takes her time working on Blanca’s pussy, and comes up occasionally to kiss her. She moves back and forth nicely, and finally gives Blanca a chance to show her appreciation. Blanca sucks on Cherry’s tits as Cherry plays with herself, and then moves down to much Cherry’s muff. Unfortunately, Cherry doesn’t receive for long before putting on a strap-on and giving Blanca her very first strap-on experience. Sadly, Ed comes on screen and kisses Blanca as Cherry’s finishing up fucking her from behind, as well as stroking her face, but luckily he stays dressed. With the exception of Ed, it’s a very hot scene. Cherry and Blanca have great chemistry together, and their sex feels very natural and realistic. It’s something that seems very rare in the all girl scenes of today, and something I’m really happy to see still exists. This is exactly the reason I enjoyed Cockless 8 so much, so I’m thrilled to see that it wasn’t just a fluke.

Carrina, a cute and natural brunette with a great body, and Jacynda, a cute dishwater blonde with a tongue stud, pierced navel, and a few tattoos, hook up on Ed’s bed for the next scene. They start off with some nice kissing as Carrina and Jacynda slowly explore each other’s body. After they both get undressed so you can see they’re both bald, Carrina takes the lead and pushes Jacynda back so she can get the first licks in. She tenderly licks and fingers Jacynda’s pussy until Ed hands her a vibrator to use on it. Once again, Carrina is slow and methodical as she works the vibe around Jacynda’s pussy. Jacynda rewards Carrina with a tongue on her own pussy, as well as using the vibe Ed gives her. The girls move it up another notch with a double dildo before Carrina finishes off Jacynda with a strap-on. It’s another slow and tender scene that has great chemistry. Although Jacynda seems a little out of some of it, Carrina seems very into it and picks up a lot of the slack. It makes for another very good scene with another very natural and realistic feel.

Cherry Rain returns, this time to work on Barby Dare, a blonde who looks quite a bit older but still has a pretty tight body and who’s supposedly having her first lesbian experience. Cherry works her magic tongue around Barby’s pussy, which puts a look on Barby’s face that makes her look like Cherry’s either doing an amazing job or that she loves weed as much as pussy. The more I watched, the more I think it’s probably both. Cherry looks like she’s doing an amazing job, but Barby looks like she’s too busy watching the pink elephants on parade in yellow submarines to notice. She does come alive to give a little back to Cherry, and Cherry seems amazed that this is her first time. Surprisingly, there’s no toys here, but with Cherry’s enthusiasm, they’re not needed. It’s not too much of a scene, and one that the remote control seems made for.

Finally, Cherry Rain initiates Angie Kane into the joys of all girl sex. They start off with some nice kissing, and lots of it for those who love that sort of thing, before their pants come off. Once again, Cherry takes charge and dives into Angie’s pussy with her tongue and fingers before giving Angie a chance to repay her. The girls both work each other over slowly, but don’t bring out any heavy toys. At the end they break out pocket rockets that they work on themselves with, but they get the tongues involved there as well. It’s a little slower scene than some of the earlier scenes, but still quite a bit of fun.

Cockless 10 is another well made all girl feature. Unlike most features like this, nobody bothers with making it realistic and showy. Instead it concentrates on real girls and real bodies working each other over. Cherry Rain leads the way in four of the five scenes, and is a big part of what makes the feature work. She has a great reality about her, and her enthusiasm drives her scenes almost every moment she’s on screen. Ed also helps out by keeping quiet for the most part and staying off screen. Cockless 10 is another well done all girl feature from Ed Powers.

Extras: As usual, there’s company information as well as a photo gallery. The photo gallery contains a dozen photos from Ed’s other features, and nicely labels both the star in the photo as well as the feature it comes from. The photos look pretty average, but they’re also from some features that came out quite a long time ago which means they were probably treated pretty good.

Planet Powers lets you know about all things Ed. In the biography you learn that “Since 1989, Ed Powers has produced an incredible array of adult entertainment that has had a profound impact on out society. He is known throughout the world for his ability to explore the world of sex with humor and insight.” I’m sorry folks, but even this is too easy for me. Unlike many of the people who perform with Ed, I have to have some standards here, and am going to let this one go. Clips are included for Cockless 1, The Real Naturals 3, Global Warming Debutantes 11, Dirty Debutantes 47, Dirty Debutants157, and Dirty Debutantes 185. Finally, there’s a commercial for Ed Powers on the radio. I’m not sure who came up with the idea for putting Ed Powers on the radio, but it’s a great idea to put Ed in a place where he can’t be seen.

Overall: Currently, Cockless 10 can be found online for between $19 and $25 with a couple stores offering it for under $20. If you’re a fan of all girl action, this is a great DVD to consider. The sex is very natural and realistic, with Cherry Rain putting on another great show. Although the extras aren’t much worth mentioning, the transfer is pretty good.

Note to New Machine: A few more extras would help to turn this into a really great DVD. Perhaps you can convince Ed to part with some of his extra footage or add an interview with some of the recurring girls such as Cherry Rain.
