The audio is fairly consistent and well balanced here, but there are a few scenes that have some dubbing.

Extras: four biographies, 17-photo slide show, 19 min. of previews (and a static scene selection menu, although box says "full motion") Audio/visual quality: A narrow artifact appears along the lower edge of the screen, but is fairly easy to ignore. Light levels vary noticeably at the beginning, probably due to changing cloud cover during different portions of the dialog. Otherwise, visual quality is quite good. Sound levels are low, though not overly so. Audio has good clarity. (Great sex sounds; no dubbing!) Music is gentle, upbeat and unobtrusive. Why I chose this DVD: I was intrigued by the scenario of an older woman with a younger man. Nina Hartley is 40 here, and Dale DaBone is 27. First impression: It's a slow simmer, yet surprisingly sexy.

A Russian soldier gets abducted by the KGB, and 2 and a ยฝ hours of sex ensues. The story is actually quite interesting for the first half of the movie, but it kind of looses focus towards the end. Of course, it could be that I was just too busy jacking off to catch what had happened. Scene One After Slava gets picked up and thrown into prison by the KGB, he recalls the time he watched 4 young soldiers get busy in a hotel. Damn, these boys are cute! This movie displayed some god awful acting and stunt work, but I guess that's what you get with a porn movie re-doing an action film. Review brief: After a poor first half, Dangerous Obession picks up and ends up with a very decent second half. Due to the plot problems I have trouble recommending this film to anyone. If you are patient and are willing to watch this film twice it will be worth your time. Don't be fooled by the limited edition tag on the case and feel like you have to pick it up fast. There are few special features on the disk, nothing to justify calling it a limited edition and probably on the regular edition, when released, the only change will be a shortened behind the scenes feature. I definitely don't recommend this film to anyone who doesn't like plot based adult entertainment. New Era has done a good job with their Limited Edition DVD release of Dangerous Obsession.

OVERALL: A fun movie for Christy Canyons 90s comeback. The story is light but entertaining though, as always, Vivid sex leaves a fair bit to be desired particularly as Christy doesnt seem too enthusiastic with men. A decent film overall with some funny moments and some erotic moments, especially in the scene with Christy and Jenteal. FEMALE LOOKS: I got started in porn after Christy retired, so I dont know how she looked at her peak. Here her face is a little gaunt but she is still attractive with a natural appeal, though the famous massive (natural) breasts are starting to sag. The girls in the first three scenes Christa, Dallas and Shelby are average, and Ive never thought highly of Asias looks. Jenteal however looks gorgeous and suitably innocent for her first girl-girl scene. MALE LOOKS: About average with Ian Daniels, Michael J. Cox, Steve St. Croix, Tony Tedeschi and TT Boy.

I didn't see the first part of the film, however there is a brief recap at the beginning of the film. Somehow, this film just felt like it was put together with the parts of the first film that were left on the cutting room floor. Even though the film was well produced, looked great and the stars were hot, there was no real heat there. There are some good scenes however. The first one on Earth with the two oversexed astronauts and the two girls was enjoyable. The girls looked good, and it was fun. Then we have the two spaceships docking with a three on three in alleged no gravity. The scene is slow, a little dark, and quickly intercut with eachother so you don't get that much of wach. Saint, Curtis and Gabriella look great though. Back on Earth, there is Bettina with a guy, then Julia and another girl in the sauna.

Review brief: After a poor first half, Dangerous Obession picks up and ends up with a very decent second half. Due to the plot problems I have trouble recommending this film to anyone. If you are patient and are willing to watch this film twice it will be worth your time. Don't be fooled by the limited edition tag on the case and feel like you have to pick it up fast. There are few special features on the disk, nothing to justify calling it a limited edition and probably on the regular edition, when released, the only change will be a shortened behind the scenes feature. I definitely don't recommend this film to anyone who doesn't like plot based adult entertainment. New Era has done a good job with their Limited Edition DVD release of Dangerous Obsession.

The first one on Earth with the two oversexed astronauts and the two girls was enjoyable. The girls looked good, and it was fun. Then we have the two spaceships docking with a three on three in alleged no gravity. The scene is slow, a little dark, and quickly intercut with eachother so you don't get that much of wach. Saint, Curtis and Gabriella look great though. Back on Earth, there is Bettina with a guy, then Julia and another girl in the sauna.
