Rebecca Lord A great way to begin this volume, the first interviewee is French brunette Rebecca, who of course more than made her name on both sides of the Atlantic. Some of course, made it. Others, perhaps repelled by the ruthless Frenchman's intrusive questioning, merely flash their bodies for the camera in a fleeting dalliance with stardom and then return, one might say wisely, to the real world. This series features a mixture of roughly-shot castings footage, hardcore scenes and Woodman's infamous initiations - I have said it before and will doubtless say it again, the quality is not all it should be, so be aware of that. But beware, appearances can be deceptive. Though he occasionally treats us with memorable moments, all too often director Pierre Woodman seems to pad out the volumes of this series with less interesting material. Consequently, the quality is extremely variable. This edition is introduced by elegant, dark-haired beauty Yasmine (a Hustler centrefold earlier this year), who Woodman has worked with on other occasions, but her intros are overdubbed with the profoundly irritating narration that Private erroneously seems to consider an enhancement.

Review brief: LES 24H DU GLAND (JTC) Directed by Gabriel Zero Starring: Ovidie, Adeline, Jessica Fiorentino, Justine Dessade, Sylvia Lancôme, Manuel Ferrara, Yann Scott, Andrea Moranty, Pavel This French-released feature production from Gabriel Zero centres on a plot concerning some kind of revolutionary design for a motorcycle, or parts thereof, which Ovidie inadvertently signs over to some scheming businessman and uses her feminine wiles to win back. Doesn't sound exactly enchanting, but I suppose my scanty knowledge of French, for the dialogue is almost entirely in that language, hasn't helped me grasp the intricacies of the plot either. Anyway, what is interesting about this movie is the cast - some of the premier new Czech starlets - and the director. This is the first proper movie that I have seen from Gabriel on his own, though he has others under his belt.

Even though it's only a few months old, such is the furious pace of Jules' release schedule Ass Worship 2 is far from being his latest movie. How does he keep it up? No pun intended.
