Spanish actor Toni Ribas further proves his burgeoning talent as a director with this movie, which more than just tips a hat at the leg fetish genre, while still supplying a substantial serving of Ribas' patented high-energy approach to hardcore porn.

Melody & Aniko
Melody and Aniko? Well, to me it's Russian blonde Alissa (who's in lots of stuff these days - that's her in the centre of the front cover) and the slim, tattooed Lisa - sometimes AKA Lucy - to be Aniko (she's in Matador 15, Beautiful Girls 4). Anyway, Alissa enters a spa room with sauna and tub, and begins showing off that long, slender form to the camera, from her lovely legs that need no adornment to the beautiful bum that so delightfully graces the cover. One thing that struck me is that the camera takes a more removed view for a lot of the time, concentrating on the overall picture, the legs, the body, the facial reactions, rather than the close-ups of penetration (though these are still shown) - this is absolutely ideal for me. Naturally, Toni Ribas approaches the scene with customary energy, and Claudia is a perfect foil. The come shot is delivered onto her super stockinged legs, then Toni walks away as Claudia curls up on the floor.

Diane and Niki

Overall
It's easy to get carried away, so close does some of Leg Love come to my personal fantasies (which is very unusual), making it profoundly horny viewing for me. Although it is flawed, such is the wealth of memorable imagery, that even in the rare event that things aren't quite working out, it's likely that another piece of delightful eye candy will come along quickly. Beautiful women showing off toes, feet, long legs, nylons, heels, and then throwing themselves into sex that is both energetic and erotic - it's hard not to be enthralled.

The flaws that I mention are mainly to do with the camerawork, which is somewhat inconsistent (Ribas is credited for camera, but obviously someone else is doing it when he's in action) - sometimes inspired, sometimes awkward - and also lighting, and editing by Alex Sanders (remember him?), which is generally very good but could easily have snipped out a few clumsy moments. But really, I am applying a much higher degree of scrutiny because with a few tweaks Leg Love could have been absolutely stunning. It'll have to settle for just plain wonderful for now, but it's scary to think how good Toni Ribas' movies will be when he puts all the elements together.

DVD Comments
Picture quality is good, and better than some Elegant Angel products, though not always brilliant under close scrutiny. From the boxcover to the menu graphics, it seems Elegant Angel are really improving their DVD product. However, what I really want to have a go at is the extras. The "behind the scenes" clip is very interesting - but it's not from Leg Love, but rather for Exxxplosion, Ribas' preceding movie. There are some very mediocre photos from Big Bottom Sadie, some trailers, and a few more crappy pics. But what's worst is this guy who insults himself as much as the audience when he introduces the DVD extras - I hope Patrick Collins is paying him well.
