Firestorm review summaries:
fu_q's
Hired to ghost-write a book by a wealthy socialite (Kay Parker), Eric Edwards encounters--and takes advantage of--a world in which just about everyone is corrupt. From Parker''s and her husband''s (John Leslie''s) cheating ways to an au pair with sticky fingers (Rikki Harte) to Edwards'' quasi-girlfriend/stripper (Tina Marie), everybody seems to have an angle. The only innocent one? Parker''s and Leslie''s blind daughter (Joanna Storm)...who''s naively looking for love. So goes "Firestorm", an exceptional 1984 release from director Cecil Howard and Command Video. [read the full review]

5 Films 5 Years Volume 1: Golden Age Erotica is an excellent limited edition Blu-ray collection of five classic adult films. The set contains Too Naughty to Say No, Hot and Saucy Pizza Girls, The Ribald Tales of Canterbury, Prisoner of Paradise, and Dixie Ray Hollywood Star. The films on the release span from 1978 to 1985 and, honestly, fans of golden age adult films should find several to their liking, even if not all of the films included are favorites. None of the films on this release have ever looked better on home video and 5 Films 5 Years Volume 1: Golden Age Erotica is definitely worth picking up before it is sold out. [read the full review]

Peekarama: Afternoon Delights / Slave of Pleasure review summaries:
Flash's
Vinegar Syndrome has, yet again, put out a beautiful release of classic adult films with this entry in their long-running Peekarama series. This entry features two very different films from prolific adult film director Shaun Costello. Afternoon Delights is one of the best of the vignette films that was ever made by the adult film industry and Slave of Pleasure, the third and final entry in the Dan McCord series, is a hokey detective tale. This release is worth picking up for Afternoon Delights alone. Vinegar Syndrome has done a beautiful job with the audio and video quality on this release. [read the full review]

X-Rated: The Greatest Adult Movies of All Time review summaries:
fu_q's
"X-Rated: The Greatest Adult Movies of all Time" is a good, albeit fluffy, documentary hosted by Chanel Preston that offers up about an hour-and-a-half's worth of material that puts forth its creators' views of the best that the adult genre has to offer. Documenting films both past and present, the selections start with the "Deep Throat" era and go up essentially through the modern day (...to, say, about five years ago). [read the full review]

X-Rated: The Greatest Adult Films of All-Time is a fun look at a series of films and movies that are culturally important to the adult entertainment industry from 1972 until 2013. X-Rated skimps on the historical impact that each of the included films had. However, the documentary is a nostalgic look through some of the best films to ever grace the blue screen. After the documentary is over, if you are a fan of feature films, you will want to rewatch films you had forgotten about and seek out others that you have missed. X-Rated is definitely a fun watch for fans of the feature film genre. [read the full review]

This Ain't Hell's Kitchen XXX review summaries:
astroknight's
This is a barely above average porn parody. The sex ranges from being pretty average to nicely done, with Veronica Rayne's scene easily being the best in the movie. It's helped out by a nice performance by Marcus London as well as some good production values, but often feels like it could have used just a little more effort through the sex scenes. The technical aspects show some very nice care and the behind the scenes featurette helps out the overall DVD nicely. This is far from a bad release, but it just felt like it should have been more. Kayden's Frisky Business review summaries:
Flash's
Kayden's Frisky Business is an essentially plotless adult feature movie that is an attempt at an adult take on Risky Business. Despite offering a great cast, Kayden's Frisky Business falls short with no real plot nor any real reason for existing. This reviewer can't find a good reason to recommend this movie. Adam & Eve have done a decent job with their streaming-only edition of Kayden's Frisky Business on Adam & Eve TV with good video and acceptable audio quality. [read the full review]

"Kayden's Frisky Business" is a fun, comical, and sexy parody of a popular 80s movie of a similar name. It features two great boy-girl scenes by Kayden Kross, which serve as the book-ends of the production, as well as a boy-boy-girl scene with Tatiana Kush and a boy-girl anal scene with Desiree Diamond that are both good. There is a fairly tame girl-girl scene between Marie McRay and Jaslin Diaz thrown in for good measure, as well. Further, there is a cameo by adult legend, Jeannie Pepper, who doesn't have sex but does do full-frontal nudity it would be great to see her back in action. The plot here is decent and serves to move the production forward, while the sex is more than good enough to make this a recommendation for those who are into Kayden Kross, light-hearted porn, and / or couples-friendly features. It is definitely worth checking out. [read the full review]

However, unbeknown to her, is the fact that the girls at the school, are already a little frisky in their own right - and it is Caroline's arrival that gives them an extra spark. In the film, PRIVATE SCHOOLGIRLS from 1983, Caroline Lamont(Shauna Grant) is a teenage Nymph, whose promiscuity is so bad, that she has attended a total of 7 different schools in the last 4 years alone. Following the most latest incident, as she is caught by the school's Principal, Mr. Treetops(J. Boomer Tibbs) having sex with a boy in the boy's bathroom, Caroline's mother sees that it is time for a change of scenery for her, when she ships Caroline to the Mrs. Marmastein School for Girls. Can You Be a Pornstar? 3 & 4 review summaries:
Tongue in Groove's
Can You Be a Pornstar, Episodes 3 and 4 might be used as a primer for aspiring smut sluts. However, it should not be construed as a true hardcore XXX feature. Episode 3 follows the lives of four porn star wannabes as they audition for a part in a movie and $100,000 cash. The girls, however, are anything but rookies to the jizz biz. Blonde Brit Jamie Brooks and brunettes Demi Marx, Kat, and Erica have been around for years, so experienced viewers will throw out the storyline immediately. This self-acclaimed reality story is shot in MTV-style, with lots of switches to black and white and tons of distracting editing cuts. Its also done in Playboy Channel fashion, which means there is really no hardcore sex (meaning boners and insertions) shown. The girls arrive at a house, welcomed by hostess Mary Carey. There are a series of interviews, posing sessions, more interviews, a shopping spree for dildos and toys, more interviews, some oil wrestling (with Tabitha Stevens hosting and Ginger Lynn, Mr. Marcus, and Veronica Hart judging), and a group therapy session with Dr. [read the full review]

It's a hefty dose of reality--and reality ain't always fair--for a trio of young women trying to chase down their dreams and make their way through the dirt and grime that is the Big Apple of the early 1980's. Indeed, "Roommates" from Chuck Vincent and Video-X-Pix, an exceptional, 1981 release, brings together a former prostitute trying to escape her past (Samantha Fox), a drug-addicted model who seems to find trouble everywhere she turns (Kelly Nichols), and an aspiring actress from out of town (Veronica Hart) as newly-minted roomies in the rough life of NYC. Quickly bonding, the women go through all manner of life's trials and tribulations together, often finding solace and comfort solely in one another's arms. [read the full review]

Bella Loves Jenna is an excellent release from Club Jenna and is well worth the wait it has taken to see the title. The film isn't for all viewers due to the darker nature of the film. Viewers that hate plot based films or like a light hearted adult film will find that this isn't a title for them. Viewers that like a different type of porn film that what the masses put out would be well advised to pick up this title or at least give it a rental. [read the full review]

Well fresh from chatting with Jenna the other night I decided to give this title the ole once over. It has two big name stars going for it with Jenna and Bella. You also have the ultra hot Monica Sweetheart making this a power trio of babes to look forward to watching. This is unlike any Jenna Jameson movie I've seen and whether or not that's good or bad for you I suggest you keep watching to find out. The Premise: First off you get a long title sequence where the lengthy cast is listed all the while disturbing images flash on the screen. This movie does have a plot which may or may not confuse you! As far as I could tell Jenna has led a rough life as her parents died on her quite young but it was months before this was discovered so young Jenna was forced to eat her parents in order to survive. This naturally fucks her head all up causing a life of institutionalization and while locked up it seems she snacked some more on living people leading to the opening sequence where she's being led down the hall. Pandora's Mirror (Caballero) review summaries:

A curious, young woman (Veronica Hart) finds herself further and further entranced by an enchanted mirror that she and a friend happen upon in the back of a low-rent, New York City clothing store. Offering up myriad sexual visions and flashbacks of times past, the mirror pulls her deeper and deeper into its erotic, though ultimately devious, web. Such is the case in "Pandora's Mirror", a very good, 1981 release from Caballero and director Warren Evans (Shaun Costello). [read the full review]

From my local smut peddler, I recently picked up a used DVD of PANDORA'S MIRROR (1981) with the lovely Veronica Hart as Pandora, a woman who becomes obsessed with sexually charged trysts revealed in a mirror at an antique store. This top-notch 88 minute Warren Evans-Shaun Costello production expands on the bewitched mirror motif used in mainstream films like DEAD OF NIGHT (UK, 1945) to include tales of sexual obsession and perversion as told by this enchanted mirror. If you are interested in Ron Jeremy, this is a great film for you to watch as it gives a great insight into who he is. Likewise, if you are interested in the industry, this might also make a good watch for you as well as it gives some insight there as well. Viewers will probably want to rent the film over purchasing it as it may be one you'll never want to watch again. [read the full review]

Makin' It (Wicked) review summaries:

Description This is a feature with condom use. Stephanie Swift is a small-town girl who leaves her daddy to travel to the city so she can make it big in the music business. Along the way she faces some really small, almost non-existent obstacles, weakly 'struggling' against them for about two weeks before a talent scout 'discovers' her. General Impression Reasonable but lackluster. There is a lot of time devoted to 'plot' in this movie, but it never really holds together well. We are supposed to believe that the main character has forged some deep friendships, but it sure doesn't look like it. There's also a lot of time watching people practice their music and sing onstage. Scenes Stephanie says goodbye to her boyfriend Trevor Zen with a blowjob and some bouncy cowgirl on the hood of a car. Then Daddy's Little Girl takes it in mish. Now settled into a seedy motel, she puts a glass to the wall to listen in as Brad Armstrong gets it on with Nikita Denise and Lezley Zen. [read the full review]
