House Of the Rising Sun: The Bordello (Gourmet) Review

Review:
Nothing but trouble (...and hot fucking...) ensues when an arrogant, corporate VP finds out about a semi-profitable New Orleans brothel that his company owns, the keys to which have just been handed over to a former--and now returned--working girl. Such is the case in "House of the Rising Sun: The Bordello", an overall-good, 1985 flick from director Chuck Vincent and Gourmet Video. Indeed, the suit goes about changing the beloved, traditional, N'awlins' flavor of the French Quarter funhouse, quickly introducing all manner of gimmicks, upsetting both the girls and their clients, and ultimately putting the establishment in jeopardy. It seems that only a miracle will save the entire endeavor. With a strong plot that's both fun and engrossing, a sexy female cast, and authentic sets and settings, this one will definitely appeal to the vintage feature crowd. While the sex itself could be a little bit spicier, it's still more than good enough to get the job done, as well. For fans of the classics, features, and / or getting sleazy in the Big Easy, this flick's worth a look.

In terms of the sex, Scene One finds the dirty blonde working girl, Tish Ambrose, breaking in a client's just-legal son up in her room (oral, vaginal ; spurting pop on her tummy and chest out of cowgirl). In Scene Two, a redheaded Taija Rae literally swings from the chandelier in entertaining her new, rough-and-rugged western boy trick, Buck Adams, in a fun and quirky romp (oral, vaginal ; pop on her backside). Scene Three pairs up two newbies at the house--a client (Jay Serling) and a working girl (Marita Ekberg)--for a romantic rendez-vous in her chambers (vaginal ; cum-shot on her pelvis and inner-thigh). In Scene Four, Scott Baker takes the gorgeous adult industry legend, Amber Lynn, upstairs for a quickie at a party (oral on her, softcore vaginal), while Scene Five has De-Ahna ripping off the corporate asshole's, Steve Lockwood's, clothes, chaining him up from the ceiling, and fucking him (apparent cream-pie). In Scene Six, Taija Rae plays the part of a bitchy "queen" who forces her slave, David Christopher, to beat off to completion as she berates him. Scene Seven finds the delicate flower of the film, Maritka Ekberg, baring her soul (...and then offering up her hole...) to the initially forceful, but then understanding, Paul Thomas (vaginal ; pop on her thighs and bush). Fun stuff!
