Review brief: A cleverly descriptive and aptly titled series from Anabolic, NICE RACK continues in the company's tradition of giving steamy hardcore in a well-developed package. Â This fourth edition of the series is a pretty clear winner overall, and will only disappoint those who don't like raw and nasty fucking and sucking, or other who actually prefer to see silicone packed into a porn star's chest like stuffing in a turkey. Â Of course, it does help that NICE RACK #4 also happens to feature one of the most popular starlets of the new millennium, namely Tera Patrick, who is always stunning in appearance and performance. Â This two-hour, twenty minute production features six straight sex scenes with six different actresses.

Review brief: The second DVD I bought, and the first one from big name Vivid. Right off, you notice the difference between this DVD and one from a smaller company like VXI - tons and tons of extra features. Even the quality on the DVD is higher, a direct result of Vivid's production values. Multiple angles show off the advancement of the DVD technology, as you can switch to different views of the action. We'll start with the good points - the women look great in this video, especially Kobe Tai, the star of the flick, and the beautiful Deva, especially when they engage in the final and hottest scene of the video. The dancing between Deva and Jacklyn Lick is also tremendous, and even better, this scene features multiple angles. Ever wanted to see a lapdance from a different angle? Go right ahead. It's fun! Now the bad part. The rest of the scenes are..well, not nearly as good. They consist mainly of Kobe peeping in on couples twice, being caught once and dragged into the middle of a threesome.

All the typical Blake trademarks are here : Fast cutting, beautiful women who are heavily made up and costumized (though less excessively here than usual), and great cinematography and lighting. Indeed, after having been let down by EVERY shot- on-film feature, this was the first that was both properly developed (no extreme grain or bad color correction) and really well shot.

Review brief: Contrary to the misleading title, BRING 'UM YOUNG has nothing to do with the Mormon-based University [drum roll], but rather, is just another porn DVD from the decidedly non- conservative institution known as Anabolic Video. Of course, any xxx-rated movie with a title like this is bound to raise a few eyebrows as well as other body parts, but rest assured, there are no Traci Lords-aged girls in this feature. But like the BARELY LEGAL series from Hustler Video, this video is an obvious (and commendable, might I add) attempt to pander to the dirty old man/woman buried deep in every porn watcher's heart. However, once you get past the novelty of seeing young and the restless at play, maintaining viewer interest in this series will ultimately depend on the strength of its fucking and sucking scenes. Thankfully, BRING 'UM YOUNG meets up to Anabolic standards for raw, uninhibited, and adulterated white hot sex.

That is to say that there's nothing about this production that should leave you wanting more, and yet it does. There are 10 scenes with 10 beautiful women here, and the sex takes place in some very attractive locations. Still, after watching this DVD I was left asking myself, "Is that it?" Filmed in and around a well appointed mansion, America's Ten Most wanted 2 is a collection of unconnected sex scenes. There's no unifying plot or principle. What these scenes have in common is that the female talent is introduced by name, measurements, and some sort of meaningless superlative (i.e., most sensual, most enchanting, etc.). From there, we follow the girls via steady-cam as they walk across lawns or down hallways to meet their appointed partners.

Initial Expectations: '8 to 4' is one of the first pornos I can every remember watching, so I was hoping for a good treatment. Initial Reaction: Great transfer, but not much for extras.

Review brief: Pre Viewing Expectations The case notes this is a classic porn release, and briefly describes the plot. Most of the space on the back is used to list the extras included on the disc, and what a list it is, right down to the Dolby 5.1 sound. I don't have a Dolby 5.1 setup, so I can't comment on this. Too bad the case tells one how to find the bonus photos, half of the fun would have been searching around the various menus looking for the hidden tag. The Main Event This is a golden classis from the early days of Porn. It was produced in the early 1980's and stars the one and only Marilyn Chambers. She brings her own energy to any movie she stars in, which is just as hot now as it was the day she shot it. This movie is no exception. There are eight scenes total, with Marilyn appearing in a majority of those. Many of the scenes show actions we take for granted today, but were virtually unheard of back then.

The audio bios are some of the best I've seen and cover the entire cast. Audio Quality: During the sex scenes, the audio is great. During the lead ins, however, Missy's voice is so soft and quiet that I could barely understand anything she said. Video Quality: With the exception of the first scene, the picture is very clear with little sign of any pixelation. The first scene has several sequences that look like they were recorded on a poor digital camcorder. The pixelation is awful! The quality reminded me of still pictures taken with a bad digital camera. Music: Very good. It matched the many moods of the various scenes. Initial Expectations: Item #1 - Wicked has some of the highest quality DVDs out there.

Review brief: 'Chameleons' is one of John Leslie's later creations for VCA.. shot on film with a substantial (if not great) plot and (for the time) good production values. It centers on Rocco Siffredi and Deidre Holland as a couple of shape-changers who can turn into any person they like if they drain their sexual energy; and on Ashlyn Gere as a woman who gets involved with them.. They first meet at an orgy-style party where one can briefly see a young and hot Sunset Thomas riding on hubby Zach. Deidre stands in a corner looking bored while being touched by another woman. Meanwhile Ashlyn goes to the bathroom and is interrupted by Deidre who suddenly turns into Rocco, the 'real' Rocco still having fun at the party. A sex scene follows between the two and there's quite some energy between them, Rocco finally shooting on Ashlyn's chin and breasts. The Review: Centerspread Girls kind of reminds me of my youth. It revolves around MOM trying to stop porn (or at least not let me have it). In this case, MOM is Morality Over Madness, a moral majority group which has been trying to shut down Panther magazine for years.

Review brief: Right from the start, let me say that CASHMERE is a great-looking movie and ana amazing production from VCA. This video directed by the one and only Michael Ninn occasionally goes overboard with the digital effects used throughout the various sex scenes, but unlike his previous efforts like SHOCK, LATEX and the highly disappointing NEW WAVE HOOKERS, they never distract or get in the way of the eroticism (his best work, DECADENCE and DIVA I through III have yet ato appear on DVD. However, I do have a aesthetic complaint about this film, which unfortunately cannot be helped due to the visual setting and theme of this movie. The powder white bouffant wigs which are placed on the head of every girl gets to be a bit much, and makes most of the girls lookalike. Costumes in adult movie are okay, but I prefer spiked high heels and stripper outfits and Victoria's Secret lingerie over period fashion designs any day. In any event, this early DVD release merely represent standard VCA excellence.

Review brief: After youve watched enough X-rated DVDs, you start to notice little clues about them that can tell you whether or not this particular disc has a future in your permanent collection, or if it is going to be used to prop up that pesky table that wobbles. Review brief: The Plot: Oh boy, thats a tough one is there plot on this disc? Well, kind of. There is a plot of sorts, but this really is more of a compilation disc than anything else. There is plot for each scene, but its never part of a cohesive whole. Its like watching the Club Massacre from the beginning of Blade, the boarding of the plane from Passenger 57, and the final inning from Major League on a Wesley Snipes compilation disc. Is there a plot? Sure, but you dont see much of it. Im just going to address the plots in the scene breakdown; its really not worth it from here. The Cast: You know, those of us who are old enough to remember the Golden Age of Porn (i.e., old farts like myself) have fond memories for the great stars of the years gone by. These warriors of the sexual age were the few warm bodies who were able to rise above the tab A into slot B routine and show us how much fun sex could be. Review brief: In our chat with Peter North, Peter described one of his goals with the North Pole series:I try to focus on the chemistry between the talent and match up the right people. It's the thing that I thought was lacking in a lot of movies - where they were matching up characters instead of performers. They don't always put together couples together that have great physical chemistry.In North Pole 6, Peter definitely succeeded with the chemistry project. Bonita Saint and Steve Jagger look like an actual couple having sex. Charlie and Dante also have a great rapport. Review brief: Cameron Grants Fantasy Chamber, shot on film, could have been an incredible DVD. Essentially its a collection of beautiful sex scenes. The performers are exceptionally attractive, the scenery is erotically intriguing, and the music is excitingly sensual. Sadly, the video quality is poor enough for me to notice. When lighting and camerawork are the main attributes of a movie, sharp video is imperative. That said, I still very much enjoyed some of the sex (and theres plenty of it!) While its unlike me to list out sex scenes in a review, its appropriate to this movie (and people keep telling me they want to know who screws who.) Thankfully the disc lists out acting credits by scene.1. Nicole Lace, Barbara Doll, Mark Davis apparently I havent watched enough porn cause I never before noticed what a great body Mark Davis has. Sometimes threesomes look like a couple with a third wheel. Not so in this mirror laden scene. All three beautiful bodies intermingle. The music (I guess its jazz) drowns out the moans a little too much, but its the perfect score for the scene.2.

Review brief: The Plot: You know, its a pity to start a review on such a downer, but this is really the failing point of the movie. The movie is supposedly about our favorite perpetually confused generation, with no role models and no goals in life, right? Being a member of the tail end of Generation X myself, I was hoping that this movie would have some people my age doing the old what have I done with my life? routine in a coffee shop. (This would, of course, lead to sex in the coffee shop.) I dont know what I was thinking. Its a porn movie, for nogs sake. This movie is completely devoid of any plot whatsoever. There is dialogue, there is some semblance of time passing linearly, but thats about it. Our plot follows the adventures of some apartment dwellers as they go through one day. We start with Tom Byron annoying the hell out of his neighbor Roxanne Hall by blasting his stereo and playing on his air guitar. We set up the fact that she cant work while he plays his music. Then, we jump jarringly to a photo shoot of Nikole Lace and Sindee Coxx, who are performing for Alec Metro.

Review brief: The second DVD I bought, and the first one from big name Vivid. Right off, you notice the difference between this DVD and one from a smaller company like VXI - tons and tons of extra features. Even the quality on the DVD is higher, a direct result of Vivid's production values. Multiple angles show off the advancement of the DVD technology, as you can switch to different views of the action. We'll start with the good points - the women look great in this video, especially Kobe Tai, the star of the flick, and the beautiful Deva, especially when they engage in the final and hottest scene of the video. The dancing between Deva and Jacklyn Lick is also tremendous, and even better, this scene features multiple angles. Ever wanted to see a lapdance from a different angle? Go right ahead. It's fun! Now the bad part. The rest of the scenes are..well, not nearly as good. They consist mainly of Kobe peeping in on couples twice, being caught once and dragged into the middle of a threesome.

Review brief: Pre Viewing Expectations The case notes this is a classic porn release, and briefly describes the plot. Most of the space on the back is used to list the extras included on the disc, and what a list it is, right down to the Dolby 5.1 sound. I don't have a Dolby 5.1 setup, so I can't comment on this. Too bad the case tells one how to find the bonus photos, half of the fun would have been searching around the various menus looking for the hidden tag. The Main Event This is a golden classis from the early days of Porn. It was produced in the early 1980's and stars the one and only Marilyn Chambers. She brings her own energy to any movie she stars in, which is just as hot now as it was the day she shot it. This movie is no exception. There are eight scenes total, with Marilyn appearing in a majority of those. Many of the scenes show actions we take for granted today, but were virtually unheard of back then.

The quality reminded me of still pictures taken with a bad digital camera. Music: Very good. It matched the many moods of the various scenes. Initial Expectations: Item #1 - Wicked has some of the highest quality DVDs out there.

They first meet at an orgy-style party where one can briefly see a young and hot Sunset Thomas riding on hubby Zach. Deidre stands in a corner looking bored while being touched by another woman. Meanwhile Ashlyn goes to the bathroom and is interrupted by Deidre who suddenly turns into Rocco, the 'real' Rocco still having fun at the party. A sex scene follows between the two and there's quite some energy between them, Rocco finally shooting on Ashlyn's chin and breasts. After the orgy, on their way home, Rocco is grumpy since his energy has been partially drained by Deidre during her transformation... Things get worse when Ashlyn turns up again at their home.

Review brief: Right from the start, let me say that CASHMERE is a great-looking movie and ana amazing production from VCA. This video directed by the one and only Michael Ninn occasionally goes overboard with the digital effects used throughout the various sex scenes, but unlike his previous efforts like SHOCK, LATEX and the highly disappointing NEW WAVE HOOKERS, they never distract or get in the way of the eroticism (his best work, DECADENCE and DIVA I through III have yet ato appear on DVD. However, I do have a aesthetic complaint about this film, which unfortunately cannot be helped due to the visual setting and theme of this movie. The powder white bouffant wigs which are placed on the head of every girl gets to be a bit much, and makes most of the girls lookalike. Costumes in adult movie are okay, but I prefer spiked high heels and stripper outfits and Victoria's Secret lingerie over period fashion designs any day. In any event, this early DVD release merely represent standard VCA excellence.
