Synopsis:
Iron Maidens 2 is an all sex film with five scenes that includes no set-up or plot of any sort for the scenes.

Audio/Video:
Iron Maidens 2 is presented with two different audio options for the film, which should please all fans of adult films. One audio track is an English 2.0 Stereo track complete with synthesized music that plays through the scenes. The music is at a low volume so it doesn't interfere with the scene at all. The other audio track is an English 2.0 Stereo track with the synthesized music stripped from it so viewers that hate music with their sex scenes have an option for them as well. Other than the lack of music, this audio track is exactly the same as the first option. Giving viewers the ability to choose to listen to the film with or without music is a great option that more companies should offer their customers. Diabolic hasn't included any foreign language tracks or subtitle options for the feature film.

Iron Maidens 2 is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The picture is clear and although the background is slightly soft, the picture is free from blemishes, glitches, and artifacts. The color levels are correctly set so the resulting picture should please all viewers.

Special Features:
Diabolic has included a few extras on the disc and all of them relate to the feature film so they compliment the film well. There are DVD XXX-tras which contains cut footage from all of the five scenes. They are arranged by scene so you can select the scene you wish to see the cut footage from. There is a photo gallery included on the disc with 32 stills on a track. There is also a cum shot recap, which is located on the chapter menu. It is a montage of all the cum shots from the feature film.

Disc Design/Navigation:
When you put the disc in it auto plays the film. When you select to go to the main menu they are designed with simple animated menus with background music that fit the film. There are five chapters available from the chapter menu for the feature film. They are identified by a video clip from the scene the chapter goes to. There are 45 chapter stops within the feature film itself. There is a time code encoded on the disc for the feature film.

General Review:
Iron Maidens 2 is an all sex film with no set-ups for the scenes and no pretense for being anything other than a straight out sex film. All but one of the scenes are shot in mostly expansive houses. Usually I like a variety to the sets, but since most of these kept an ongoing feel to the film, it worked here. The location in the third scene wasn't as grand, which pulled the scene out a little from the others, I think the film would have had a more even flow if it had been more elegant like most of the other locations. The location used in the fourth scene, which looks like a pseudo-industrial set, doesn't fit in at all with the other scenes and really looks out of place here. It throws off the continuity of the film and would have been better off being kept for another film and having a different scene with a similar setting in it's place.

The scenes all start out with a brief to semi-long lead in where the women enter and slowly bring in the sex scene. The lead ins vary as to their quality. The one in the first scene is too spaced out with way too much happening before the scene and the one in the fourth scene is way too short. Rio Mariah and Melanie Jagger start into what looks like it is going to be a great all girl opening but Lexington Steele enters immediately. I'd have loved to seen this opening played out longer. The fifth scene holds the best opening, which is visually perfect. Bella Marie Wolf is on the stairs masturbating, Lexington Steele is seated raised up at the top masturbating and Venus moves up the stairs and sits between the two and doesn't masturbate right away.

The scenes are rather haphazard, which ultimately hurts them. There are too many participants in the first scene and Lexington spends most of his time with Angel Long and some of the time with Nyomi Marcela leaving Soleil mostly ignored through the scene. The scene would have worked much better if it had been short one participant so they all were included or had been worked out better so they all had some real participation in the scene. As it stands Soleil just appears to be a fourth wheel. Some of the shots used in all the scenes are way to short, Lexington will start a sexual activity with one of the participants and the scene immediately cuts to a different portion of the scene with a different act. There is too much repetition in the scenes as far as the sex acts go and the order in which acts are done. By the end of the film one can basically figure out what the next sex act is going to be and even the positioning of the participants rather well. More variety should have been worked into the scenes so they didn't feel basically the same. The sexual themes in the film are vaginal and anal sex with blow jobs, vaginal toy use, female masturbation, lesbianism, pussy eating, pussy fingering, P2M, A2M, anal fingering, male masturbation, and anilingus. For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the film.

The camera work in the film is amateurish. Although in portions it is perfectly fine in other times the camera is shaky and zooms in and out with reckless disregard for the viewer. I get the feeling that the film was directed on the fly and the camera man wasn't experienced enough at the time of filming to handle it. Or maybe he had spent too much time on gonzo shoots and didn't realize the differences in filming an all sex feature. Not that the film isn't worth watching. If you take the film one scene at a time and not all at once, it isn't too bad.

Scene Synopsis:

Iron Maidens 2 is an all sex film that suffers from being formulaic as far as the sex goes and from a camera man who didn't seem to quite know what he was doing. However, some of the cast members look good and if taken only one scene at the time is watchable. If you are a fan of Lexington Steele or the cast you'll probably want to give the film a look, but I suggest a rental before purchasing as I question the longevity of this title.
