Review brief: This is recap of dozens of cumshots from various older Anabolic titles. It was first released on 6/8/1998. This won't be like my usual review, since it is impossible to describe all the action. Safe to say, the usual suspects of porn appear, the same people who have been in countless other titles. These are older scenes, and many of these performers now work for more mainstream companies such as VCA. The video often looks "old" in quality, and the women are significantly less attractive than what is the norm in 2001. The disclaimer at the start claims that all scenes were shot prior to the infamous "July 3, 1995" cutoff date for supplying information. That's far from the truth, since Dina Jewel's scene from Butt Banged Hitchhiking Whores is included (that's her lovely face on the cover), and that was shot in 1997 or early 1998.

It had a somewhat intricate storyline and in depth character development (for porn). I didn't care for the story all that much. Basically Asia is this lady who has shut the world away because of some unfortunate events in her past and her gardner, Devin Wolf, shows her kindness and she eventually emerges. I didn't think that the sex was anything extraordinary. There weren't really any scenes that I thought were totally awesome. It seemed like Devin Wolf did almost all the humping in this one. If your a fan of him, you might want to pick this one up because his is in the vast majority of scenes.

But by around 1996 or so, he seemed to get bored with the porno scene, in part because he has probably done it all. The quality of his work seemed to go down, and Mike John was added to this series as co-director to make the results better. John was a nobody before getting hired on by Anabolic and Diabolic, but he quickly proved his abilities with movies like this one. I believe Sean Michaels still had a part in the creative aspects of Up Your Ass 12, but Up Your Ass 13 is purely a Mike John creation. Since he wasn't the much-lauded director he is now, he had to make do with an inferior collection of female talent.

The video often looks "old" in quality, and the women are significantly less attractive than what is the norm in 2001.
