“Faconhead 2” is one of the first works by Michael Zen. A deep movie about narcissism and hot sex. A very well directed and photographed artistic adult movie. If you like gay sex and strange, artistic and deep films, this is your movie without any doubt. If you don’t like to watch men fucking another men, this is not your movie. However, if you are a truly fan of good adult films “Falconhead 2” is a movie you must see at least once. It’s your choice. Enjoy it. [read the full review]

review from 6/4/2006:
I had this on VHS umpteen years ago, watched it twice, and couldnt make head or tail of it. Eventually I gave it away. Now that it has been released on DVD I thought that perhaps I might have grown wiser with age so decided to watch it again. Well, I was just as befogged as before. Some of the problem may lie in the fact that Ive never seen FALCONHEAD ONE, but I doubt it. Its one weird fucking flick. It begins with Paul Barressi wearing a falcons head and a leather jock out in the wild. Smoke crosses the scene and Paul can now be seen jacking his cock to climax. It seems to baptize an attractive blond Rick Taylor whose dream it was. As he showers we hear him say I dreamt a guy with a falcon head masturbated on me. Paul now appears in his bathroom (minus the falcon head) and enlists Rick to go bring back his (Pauls) lover from the falcons clutches. [read the full review]

review from 2/2/2019:
The late John Christopher's final film is a high point in his directorial career. He has taken the age-old a group of people are listed in a will but have to spend the night in a house to secure the inheritance premise and kept it fresh in Hard Money. As a result, Hard Money is an enjoyable gay hardcore feature film. HIS Video's DVD release of Hard Money is frustrating, the video and audio quality is good however, roughly 16 minutes of the film has been cut. [read the full review]

Another of the early pre-condom videos now re-released on DVD, this one has the attraction of having been produced by the prolific Terry Le Grand whose hallmark was having a sense of humor. The premise for this film is that we are watching a soap opera Lust for Life. Our two soap stars meet, sit on the sofa, kiss and..its time for a commercial! How eerie that Le Grand could prophesy from 20 years ago what TV viewing would be like in the 21st century: one minute of program followed by ten minutes of commercials. Of course if all commercials were like these we wouldnt mind watching them. Our first commercial has two lovers waking up in the morning. When one asks for a good- morning kiss the other says, But your breath! Spurts mints to the rescue. [read the full review]

review from 2/6/2004:
What a total rip off this thing is! I had the VHS version and found it so uninteresting that I stored it away in a bottom box in my closet. But I had forgotten how bad it was until watching it on DVD. As a matter of fact the DVD is even worse because it cuts completely the last scene of the filma duo between porn legends Tim Kramer and Michael Christopher that was the only thing worth watching. But this is notI repeat NOTon the DVD. So why is Tims picture on the cover? To lure you into buying it. What we are left with is a dreary, choppy piece of crap that appears to have been edited by Jack the Ripper and silly, boring, lackluster sex. The first name of the director was Vex. It is singularly appropriate. The sound track has unceasing easy listening music form the 80s that will drive you nuts. There are sloppy chapter entry points and nothing else in the extras section. Added to this is the fact that it has been poorly transferred to DVD. [read the full review]
