Review brief: There are two reasons I generally avoid Robert Prions films: Vincent DeMarco and Jay Richards. Prion apparently cannot make a film without them and I find both to be less than attractive. Vincent resembles a greasy street hustler (his fingernails bitten down to the quick is another minus) and Jay (Prions LTC) is too fat, too hairy, and too old to appear in films of this type. Although he is probably a very nice man, I have never read a review where the reviewer didnt wish Jay wasnt in it. Nevertheless, Prions films capture good old-fashioned dirty sex and provide a nice change from the pretty boys on the west coast or the muscular gods in our European films. I picked this one up for Michel Mattel, a handsome Canadian who has appeared in such films as Alex & Bruno and some great films from Falcon, Lucas Entertainment, and Studio 2000 and whom I like immensely. He appears in the final scene with Cody Marshall and his big dick (Michel has a big one, too.). But there are other fine scenes here too.

Initial Reaction: Its okay, but seems afraid to go all the way. Who Should Watch It : Anybody whos more interested in plot than sex Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants to see pop shots and penetrations Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and well balanced for the most part, but a couple background noises do intrude into the movie. There are also a couple spots that appear to have been dubbed. The dubbing appears to have been very well done, but things still dont seem to quite line up like they should. The video is often a bit dark, and also has a bit of grain. I know this feature was made in the late nineties, but the video quality makes it look more like it was from the early nineties.

The story is laid on pretty thick, but is fairly interesting the first time though. What I Liked: The highlight of the whole movie for me was easily the second scene, with Jon Ashe and Paul Johnson. Not only was it incredibly hot, but ingeniously directed. These two studs make out in the lobby of a dentist office that has these huge 10 foot windows looking right out onto main street. While Paul gets the fucking of a lifetime, you can see people walking by outside looking in. It's pretty surreal. Both these guys are gorgeous, but I have a soft spot (or should I say a hard spot?) for Paul... what a hunk! This is probably one of my favorite scenes of the year. Derek's random encounter with Ben Archer was a pleasant surprise.

Review brief: Description This is a feature with a weak plot and average sex. General Impression No real stand-out scenes. Sex Starts with Randy getting his knob sucked in the shower in an average way, ends without a pop. Not a good way to open. Then Ashley does Steve Holmes in an armchair in a lobby - There's some good sex, and it should have been fun, but techno music chilled it, there were a lot of cuts to distant shots that weren't hot, and he plays with her anus but never goes in. Randy Spears is up next with Avy Scott, and I loved her fleshiness and bare feet, but she's not too responsive until the RCG, and as soon as she heats up, he stops her and cums between her tits. The music was video-game type sounds - bird-chirpy, R2D2 crap. Nikita and Steve go at it next, and she's nice, but again it just misses the mark. There's also an inexplicable off-camera cough, and about 20 seconds where the natural part of the sound just cuts off. Cameron Cruise and Jana Cova play together in a scene which is pretty, rather than hot.

Review brief: History or Why I got/reviewed this movie: I love Montreal, probably the greatest sex city in North America. It's not uncommon to see a nice beautiful anglican church right next to a great strip club. As a kid, I would go into the red light district, just so I could play video games. The video game arcades would also have these peep show machines. Call me pavlov cause I started to think that porn was cool in the same way Pac Man was cool. So coming from Montreal, I had an affinity for french canadian girls. Quebecois women are distinctly different from French girls. Whether it's the uglier accent or the more laid back personalities, I can't put my finger on what makes them different. Maybe it's the lack of hairy armpits. My meager knowledge of french was mainly used to pick up these women during college. Despite the communication barriers, they had no problems letting their intentions known. Review brief: This is a DVD release of an earlier VHS film from HIS Studios. I missed it then, so Im glad to catch it now. It contains a good mix of interracial dudes who are hot and like sex. Review brief: Expectations Private has released a number of compilation DVDs in the last few years. These draw upon the vast library of scenes in the Private vault. Most of these DVDs have been solid, even if they are not spectacular. The one exception is the "Private Life" series which has been spectacular. Private's latest marketing ploy is to collect up several of their prior DVDs and to bundle them together as a superpack. Capsule Review I recently reviewed the Private/Penthouse box set and I was thrilled. The care they put into that re-package was obvious. Unfortunately, they do not seem to value all of their re-releases equally. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing flawed about this release. It's just that there is nothing special either. In effect, they have taken three of their Anal compilation DVDs - Anal Toppers, Anal Introductions, and Pure Anal - packaged them in a 4 DVD case with their Sampler 6, and covered it with a new picture. That's it. No booklet. No special features.

Review brief: There are two reasons I generally avoid Robert Prions films: Vincent DeMarco and Jay Richards. Prion apparently cannot make a film without them and I find both to be less than attractive. Vincent resembles a greasy street hustler (his fingernails bitten down to the quick is another minus) and Jay (Prions LTC) is too fat, too hairy, and too old to appear in films of this type. Although he is probably a very nice man, I have never read a review where the reviewer didnt wish Jay wasnt in it. Nevertheless, Prions films capture good old-fashioned dirty sex and provide a nice change from the pretty boys on the west coast or the muscular gods in our European films. I picked this one up for Michel Mattel, a handsome Canadian who has appeared in such films as Alex & Bruno and some great films from Falcon, Lucas Entertainment, and Studio 2000 and whom I like immensely. He appears in the final scene with Cody Marshall and his big dick (Michel has a big one, too.). But there are other fine scenes here too.

While Paul gets the fucking of a lifetime, you can see people walking by outside looking in. It's pretty surreal. Both these guys are gorgeous, but I have a soft spot (or should I say a hard spot?) for Paul... what a hunk! This is probably one of my favorite scenes of the year. Derek's random encounter with Ben Archer was a pleasant surprise.

Review brief: This is a DVD release of an earlier VHS film from HIS Studios. I missed it then, so Im glad to catch it now. It contains a good mix of interracial dudes who are hot and like sex. Its a clichéd opening with a big black stud wearing only a posing strap that we know is going to eventually take out a big dick and stroke it to climax. But long before he will shoot, we segue right into our first scene. Two guysone of whom is Ryan Blockare moving into a new pad. Ryan is a big muscular beige-skinned hunk; his roomie is dark brown. Review brief: Expectations Private has released a number of compilation DVDs in the last few years. These draw upon the vast library of scenes in the Private vault. Most of these DVDs have been solid, even if they are not spectacular. The one exception is the "Private Life" series which has been spectacular. Private's latest marketing ploy is to collect up several of their prior DVDs and to bundle them together as a superpack. Capsule Review I recently reviewed the Private/Penthouse box set and I was thrilled. The care they put into that re-package was obvious. Unfortunately, they do not seem to value all of their re-releases equally. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing flawed about this release. It's just that there is nothing special either. In effect, they have taken three of their Anal compilation DVDs - Anal Toppers, Anal Introductions, and Pure Anal - packaged them in a 4 DVD case with their Sampler 6, and covered it with a new picture. That's it. No booklet. No special features.

Review brief: Expectations I haven't watched many of the JM DVDs, but this one caught my eye. I love DPs and Aurora Snow has become one of my favs, so I'm hoping that this disc really pans out. Capsule Review This is not a bad movie. If you enjoy straightforward, no frills gonzo, you will probably enjoy this DVD. The Aurora Snow scene is very hot. Technical While there is nothing fancy here, the video and lighting are adequate and the sound is good. The set is a large mansion that is attractive. The girls are reasonably well groomed. Synopsis There are 3 ordinary scenes on here, a nice one (the fifth), and an extraordinary one (the second). I saw this movie 4 months ago, but I'm re-watching for review, just so I can tell you about the second scene. That scene just stays in my mind. There's nothing in it for raincoaters, so you guys can move on to the next review.
