For some reason I always have a subconscious urge to write defensively
about Brandon Iron. I don't know why I should. Brandon can look
out for himself perfectly well without me stating a case for him.
Besides, after watching this second edition of Spit Shined - where
girls take on this subservient task - I'm not sure that any defence
would be particularly robust. Let's examine the evidence.
Nikita
In the first of five sex scenes, Claudio Meloni and that anodyne

a tumble. Her goofy manner is more engaging than the energetic but
uninspired sex. She also has a full bust, thighs and ass on a slim
frame. Apart from moments where she demands, obviously under instruction,
that they fuck her, she's generally quietly compliant as the guys
top and tail her and take her through lots of sodomy, crude oral
and a little spanking. Her repeated demand for sperm is met with

This, however, is obviously a different proposition from the moment
the dynamic duo in their fishnet tops and heels stride across a

idea into practise, as the girls really immerse themselves into

mood of abandon. What I really like about Ariana is the way, on

slightly annoying to find this scene ends abruptly to cut away to
a trailer for A Good Source of Iron.
Overall
I suppose it might be too obvious to accuse Spit Shined 2 of being
"lacklustre". I apologise for that. But the truth is that I found
it quite disappointing, with the final scene almost saving the day
but mainly acting as a statement of what might have been. Perhaps
the cast has something to do with it - few of them really make much
of an impression, with the notable exceptions of Selena and Ariana.
Perhaps it's just because the fetish element is something that doesn't
quite work for me. It's not that I find the submissive role-play
objectionable; in fact it's something I can appreciate, just not
in the specific form it takes here. Then again, it actually plays
less of a part than one might expect. Most of the scenes are actually
quite generic hardcore, and that big finale isn't quite enough to
redeem them. It's worth watching in its own right, but much of Spit
Shined 2 is below par, which is a reflection on some of the good
work I've seen from Brandon in the last year.

As seems to be the case with Platinum X, there's a bulging extras
section packed out with a behind the scenes short, extra tease footage
and a bonus POV scene with Brandon and Nikita. There's a recap of
the come shots, trailers, photos, cast list and director's biography
too. One does get the impression that the main feature may (or may
not) have been over compressed to squeeze everything onto the disc,
as there are occasional blips on picture quality. It's generally
perfectly watchable.
