Tongue and Cheek 2 Review

“Tongue and Cheek #2” (2003) is one of the more bizarre examples of pornography I have seen in a long time. However, the source of its peculiarities lies outside of the actual product. Truth be told, the actual sex and anal sex in the tape is quite nice. Originally, this title as well as volume 1 in the series was released in 2002 with a different box cover and from a different company. The release went largely unnoticed, with the only website this reviewer could find that carried it being www.excaliburfilms.com. Then it went the way of so many small company titles in being out of print and stock. It seemed then that I was never going to see this tape and the now lost Taylor St. Claire scene that attracted me to it. Quite unexpectedly, it was suddenly revived, repackaged, and reshipped in late 2003 by a new company named Jost Productions. Ms. St. Claire now called the cover, which accentuated her gorgeous face and voluptuous breasts, her own while the rest of the girls were second billing. My quest did not quite end there, as I had to wait well over a month for my copy to arrive from Excalibur. However, now I have caught my Moby Dick and realize that to the rest of you this one might actually seem like a waist of money. There are 5 scenes, with Taylor’s predictably being the best. All of the scenes contain extensive and relatively hot anal action. There is no real connection between the scenes as well as no opening or ending credits, meaning when you press play the tape will just start with no introduction. This makes identifying the girls and guys very difficult.

Scene 1-Nicole Sheridan (blonde, implants, vivacious performer) w/ Voodoo

It appears that recently Ms. Sheridan appeared on the dating game show “Blind Date.” This is a curious appearance considering that not only is she a porn star but she is married to one as well. Voodoo, her scene partner here, is her lucky husband. As we start out, the happy couple is on a couch, playing around together. As we end, he has laid it to his wife’s ass pretty good and dropped quite the load on her face. Did any of the guys on “Blind Date” get to do that to her? I think not.

Scene 2-Lena Ramon (petite, brunette, passable face, decent body) w/?

Lena is one of those women who look better in pictures then she does on film. It is not that she is ugly or anything like that. It’s just that as far as porn stars go she is rather plain looking. This type of girl can actually be refreshing though, a break from the unattainable could-be-supermodel types. And following the rule these type of girls are usually the nastiest in bed. Lena is exactly that. She really gets it on with her man, slamming her ass down on his member. The anal is quite nice in this particular scene.

Scene 3-Taylor St. Claire (cover girl picture speaks for itself) w/Mark Davis

To me, in porn there is Taylor St. Claire and then everyone else. Unfortunately, she is semi-retired now and only does girl/girl when she does work. She produced only a handful of new scenes in 2003 with possibly fewer to come in 2004, which makes this one her best scene in quite some time even though it was probably filmed in 2002. As the scene opens, it appears as if poor Mark Davis was in an accident of sort. He is sitting on the couch with bandages on his arms and legs. Taylor, wearing one of her signature outfits in a two-piece skirt and top black lace combo that barely covers her breasts, is trying to console him with gifts. Essentially, this set-up sucks. Taylor brings Mark stuffed animals twice as well as an acorn. Mark gets upset, as it seems all he really wants is Taylor. He makes this quite clear when she finally brings some sort of wooden animal and he makes her lick it. Next thing you know she is on her knees in front of him and her mouth is on his dick in an extremely sultry blowjob session, filmed with a mixture of over the shoulder shots and straight up point of view shots. The point of view is used quite nicely when she titty fucks Mark while looking straight at him (into the camera). Taylor even rims Mark a little bit, which he really seems to love. Mark reciprocates the effort by getting her nether regions started up with his mouth and fingers, drawing especially loud moans from her when he two finger fucks her ass. He looks like he cannot wait to give it to her and really pounds her, to her immense delight, when they finally get it going. (This is their first scene together where he does not wear a condom) They blaze through missionary, including some great camera angles, and sideways missionary before transitioning into sideways missionary anal. They also do anal in cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, and doggy, with some great point of view work during the reverse cowgirl. In the end as Mark is screwing Taylor in kneeling doggy style the cameraman adds a brilliant touch by crawling under the glass table Taylor is kneeling over to shoot her breast bouncing and her face moaning from below. This effect is again used as Mark chagrins the facial in favor of shooting a rather massive load over the glass table and the camera captures Taylor licking it up as well as rubbing her breasts in it from below. Excellent scene with remarkable camerawork. I was quite impressed with the finish.

Scene 4-Trinity (Malorie Marx) (cute, slutty brunette w/great natural breasts) and Green Eyes (ebony beauty) w/TT Boy

This scene is so old that Malorie Marx is in it and is still going by the name “Trinity.” Her scene partner is an African American performer I had never seen before named Green Eyes. I did not exactly find her that appealing and as such she is the nastiest of the two and does anal. That is always how it works out. TT Boy does his usual schtick, jack hammering away at both of these girls relentlessly until he can take no more and pops a small load on them.

Scene 5-Michele Raven (gorgeous brunette w/great d cup breasts, slightly similar looking to Taylor) w/Mark Davis

Similar to Taylor, the busty Michele was probably in the midst of her big run in the gonzo world when she filmed this. Now that it is being released she has pretty much vanished. That is a shame because Michele was a strong, slutty girl with no apparent qualms about taking big dicks up her luscious ass. She looks especially appealing in this scene and again Mark works her over something awful, eliciting moans just load as he got from Taylor. The cameraman again uses a great mixture of over the shoulder and point of view shots at certain times throughout the scene. Good closing scene.

As you can tell by the disproportionate ratio between how much I wrote about Taylor and how much I wrote about everyone else, this was a one-scene tape to me. To be fair though, the other scenes are not bad. Michele’s closer was very hot as well. Taylor’s was just better. I wish I knew who the director was because the camerawork between those two girls’ scenes was excellent. Seeing the point of view sequences with Taylor made me hopeful that Mike John might someday find Taylor in front of his camera, which does seem unfortunately unlikely.

That being said this is also a frustrating tape. I do not know if I have ever seen a gonzo tape that was not a compilation that did not feature opening or ending credits. And the DVD is unsurprisingly lacking, with the only extras being some nice pictures in a photo gallery and that’s it. Due to such things I could really only recommend this one was a rental, unless you are a big Taylor St. Claire fan.
