Review brief: Besides this dvd I have seen 3 other Sineplex videos and apart from Enjoy #1, the other 2 failed to impress me. The bad news is that No Limits #4 has not done anything to change my overall opinion of this Porn Company. No Limits #4 has 9 girls but only 3 of them do anal (never mind dp) so I wonder what the "no limits" is all about. Anyway, here is a quick description of the 4 scenes (plus the bonus one): Scene #1; Angel & Betty/Nacho. Flick Shagwell is taken over by an alien life form, which then wanders L.A. at night, feeding off people's sexual energy and their life energies. General Impression This has a very promising plot idea, not fully realized. The first scene is very well-filmed, with decent special effects. The edgy, ominous music fit the slightly apprehensive mood of the scene and I enjoyed the lively sex. But as the same type of music is used loudly in scene after scene, it becomes repetitious and mechanical. As part of the plot, the people are mesmerized into having sex. The idea of slightly glazed-over or zombie-like people fucking, along with the loud techno music, causes a loss of some of the heat. This was a feature movie, but because of the way the movie was set up, no character development was done. I would have liked to have seen the characters of the people a bit - maybe joking around, maybe arguing, maybe being buffoons, whatever -- at least for a minute or two, before being controlled by the alien.

Gregory Dark's set of two films is very different than Gerard Damiano's original film and are very much a product of the 80s in their visual stylings. The two films are well done and definately worth seeing. VCA has done a good job with their release of the two films on this set with good video despite lacking extras.

Review brief: What was one of the first things your parents taught you in life? Never judge a book by its cover. That addage is as appropriate for the adult industry as any other. My impression of I Love It Rough 2 was established when I saw Lana Coxx brandishing a paddle on the front cover. But as the same type of music is used loudly in scene after scene, it becomes repetitious and mechanical. As part of the plot, the people are mesmerized into having sex. The idea of slightly glazed-over or zombie-like people fucking, along with the loud techno music, causes a loss of some of the heat. This was a feature movie, but because of the way the movie was set up, no character development was done. I would have liked to have seen the characters of the people a bit - maybe joking around, maybe arguing, maybe being buffoons, whatever -- at least for a minute or two, before being controlled by the alien.

Review brief: VCA has collected Devil in Miss Jones 3: A New Beginning and Devil in Miss Jones 4: The Final Outrage together for this set which makes sense since the two films are actually one film split in half. Gregory Dark's set of two films is very different than Gerard Damiano's original film and are very much a product of the 80s in their visual stylings. The two films are well done and definately worth seeing. VCA has done a good job with their release of the two films on this set with good video despite lacking extras.

Review brief: What was one of the first things your parents taught you in life? Never judge a book by its cover. That addage is as appropriate for the adult industry as any other. My impression of I Love It Rough 2 was established when I saw Lana Coxx brandishing a paddle on the front cover. Thus, I expected a little spanking, a little paddling, in the film, along with some sex, yet as the film continued, I would be very disappointed. I say that with full acknowledgement that all four female performers end up with very pink asses. However, that comes from the slaps they receive during sex, not any S/M work beforehand, and the latter I better prefer. Now, with that expectation elminated, I still must say that the film is pretty good. Not great, but pretty good, as while the first three scenes are quite good, the last scene is rather deserving, and possibly not fitting for the rest of the film. Kitten 12 actually sets up an interesting, if not somewhat predictable for an adult film, plot. Gwendolyn, played by the stunning new sensation Sunrise Adams, is sent to the home of Mistress Victoria, the beautiful Taylor St. Claire, to learn the ways of lesbianism for the pleasure of her wealthy husband. Gwen must choose between this request or life on the streets, and quickly decides to explore her lesbian side. Personally, I woulld have liked her slightly more reluctant at first, but overall, Sunrise plays the role well, and Taylor St. Claire is an outstanding mistress. In the first scene, Gwen (Sunrise) must watch two girls play along side the pool while Mistress Victoria (Taylor) strokes her young body. The action between the girls at the pool is rather tame, but satisfying enough.
