Okay, I like the idea. Men should look like men and not Ken dolls, so I like the idea of using actors who look as if you might actually meet them. I also like the idea of eliminating contrived settings and situations and going right for the sex. But you cannot just throw some men together, run the cameras, and hope you come out with good porn. You sense you are in trouble from the start. The first scene is of rather routine blowjobs (blower kneeling, blowee standing). Remember that review of Manplay 7 I did a while back? Well, this one is pretty much the same, except theres an 8 in the title. Seriously. The guys, while different, have the same look to them. The sex is pretty much the same; the format (one long orgy) is the same. Its even shot on the exact same set (though theres a green light on in the background instead of #7s blue light). I swear, if I was colorblind, I would have a real tough time telling these 2 movies apart. What I Liked: The good news is that theres more fucking in 8. Manplay 7 had extended sequences of oral that went on for far too long. Theres a few more bottoms in the batch this time, too it seems. What I didnt Like: Most of the things that bothered me in 7 still bother me in 8. I wish we had actual scenes instead of this never-ending fuck-a-thon. Dont expect Men at Work to be about or include a bunch of construction workers, because there are none. I dont know who runs the art departments at these video companies but youd think they would get it together! But thats ok, this film has something for everyone! From older, hairy men, twinks in threesomes, and tattooed and smooth guys! It does have some minor flaws like the narration being muffled to a degree and the lighting is a bit off in some scenes but to be honest I found it reminiscent of the old porno days and enjoyed it. It features some newcomers to the industry too and they are great! Ryan Scott, Eric Johansson and well-hung Chris Sullivan! The basic story is about a backwoods boy from Tennessee, Bobby Tyler, whos sick of his life and his father who abuses him and takes to the road. But before he does he tells us of his pleasure in watching a local recluse, Chad Johnson, who lives in the woods that he finds attractive. Bobby appears before Chad as Chad is chopping wood.
