It’s been a while since I’ve written a review, but Manplay 8 is giving me some serious déjà vu. Remember that review of Manplay 7 I did a while back? Well, this one is pretty much the same, except there’s an 8 in the title. Seriously. The guys, while different, have the same “look” to them. The sex is pretty much the same; the format (one long orgy) is the same. It’s even shot on the exact same set (though there’s a green light on in the background instead of #7’s blue light). I swear, if I was colorblind, I would have a real tough time telling these 2 movies apart.
What I Liked:
The good news is that there’s more fucking in 8. Manplay 7 had extended sequences of oral that went on for far too long. There’s a few more bottoms in the batch this time, too it seems.
What I didn’t Like:
Most of the things that bothered me in 7 still bother me in 8. I wish we had actual scenes instead of this never-ending fuck-a-thon. There aren’t any stand-out hunks in this version, either. 7 had Carlos, who was significantly hotter than all the other guys. The only one who sort of fits that description in 8 is Owen. He’s cute, has a nice dick, and is very versatile, but sadly his stupid mohawk ruins his whole look for me.
One thing that really bummed me out… about 1:07 into the movie, if you watch real closely, you’ll see one of the models has what looks to be a “herpes-like” sore on the underside of the head of his cock. I really hope that wasn’t what I thought it was, cause the thought of all those guys sucking on that cock kind of gave me the willies.
That’s why my mom always says, “Make sure you inspect that cock closely before you swallow it!”
Audio/Visual Quality
Once again, the picture quality is crystal clear…. Titan certainly deserves accolades for their a/v quality. The music is kept in the background so you can hear all the moaning, groaning, and butt slapping with ease.
Extras
There are no extra scenes this time around, but you do get previews for Manplays 4-7. That’s it, though. It’s a bit on the skimpy side for a Titan flick.
Final Word
I don’t mean to imply that Manplay 8 is a bad movie… it’s actually pretty good. The sex is very good, and there’s a lot of yummy close-ups. Anyone who dug number 7 should run right out and pick up number 8. It should be right up your alley. Me, I’m actually going to give up on the whole Manplay series, though. I like the idea of using more “amateurish” guys, but this whole orgy concept just doesn’t work for me. Someone send me an email when they start putting these guys in real movies.
