Such is the case in B. Skow's latest feature, "These Things We Do", a very good release from the director and Girlfriends Films.

With the likes of Kimber Day, Capri Cavanni, Penny Pax, and Bonnie Rotten filling up the roster of its four, themed sequences, this one is almost certain to be a winner. Throw in Skow's superb directorial abilities, and it's a done deal. With elements that will appeal to both couples and singles alike, this little fuck-flick is easy to recommend.

Review brief: Featuring what appears to be a hodgepodge of tapped together interracial scenes of varying flavors and from disparate sources, Vivid's "Black on White" finds itself in something of a hit-or-miss predicament. Indeed, the sequences range from very good (Bobbi Starr's) to simply "okay" (Evanni Solei's) and everything in between. While nothing here is "bad", per se, this flick simply seems to lack momentum and enough strong scenes to recommend it. It's above average...but "average" is a fairly low bar.

Review brief: It's all Allie all of the time in B. Skow's "All About Allie", a very good release from Vivid Video. Featuring six sexy sequences of the brunette cutie and former Vivid Girl, Allie Haze, this flick certainly delivers on its title and also on the heat. Indeed, with Allie partaking in two scenes of self-lovin' (including a unique one with a fucking machine), a sensual boy/girl scene in the country, some hot and heavy boy/boy/girl action in a hotel room (including some interracial), a super-sexy three-girls/one-guy encounter in a biker bar, and even a blow-bang with five studs, this one certainly serves as a strong showcase of her many and varied talents. Furthering this all along--and also accentuating Allie's good looks--are the strong camerawork, excellent costuming and makeup that match the chosen settings, and the generally excellent artistic direction that has become synonymous with a B. Skow production. In a word, it's worthy.

Review brief: It's "Fucklemania" time, and Chyna has been brought back into the ring to fuck her way through the ranks of wrestling's legendary elite. Such is the attempt in "Chyna is Queen of the Ring", a not-so-great parody from Vivid that features the one-time female wrestling star in a variety of sexual scenarios. While the idea here is a unique one--and had potential--the execution in most of the sequences pretty much falls through. This is particularly true for the gangbang but also for much of the rest of the action, as well. Chyna seems to shine when another, more-experienced actress is partaking in the festivities with her, but when shes on her own, she seems a bit inexperienced (hard to blame her) and, perhaps, not so into the goings-on. Unfortunately, this one simply misses the mark.

With the awesome Allie Haze backed up by the likes of Tia Cyrus (who has the stunning good looks of a mainstream model), Kelly Klass, Adrianna Luna, and Ally Style, this flick certainly hits the mark. In typical Skow style, the camerawork is exceptional here, and the solo-girl intro sequences are top-notch. Aside from Allie, Tia is the standout. Looking deeper into her filmography is a definite must. In all, this flick features hot sex involving wholesome young women that's all captured quite well for the benefit of the viewer. It's worthy.

Skow and Vivid Video, this film successfully parodies the similarly titled cult classic of the 1990s. Indeed, many of its plot elements are similar to those found in the original--in a pornified form, of course--and it's all wrapped together with some suck-and-fuck action of the sexy variety. In all, this one works out quite well as both a parody and as a fuck-flick, serving as yet another convincing example of Skow's superior directing abilities.

Indeed, Skow and his cast have outdone themselves in this heartrending flick about an age-defying lesbian romance that blossoms despite the obstacles and trials placed in its way. With strong acting from all of the participants, an excellent script, high-end production values, and scorching sex, this film truly excels.

Filmed in a fun, faux-documentary style, a cameraman follows Lia around as she goes through a typical action- (and sex-) packed day. Of course, there's plenty of super-hot boinking in this one--both on the set and also at the home of a famous rapper (played by Mr. Pete)--but there's also a good deal of sexy, non-sex antics, as well. Whether it's watching Lia play video games, take a steamy shower, or change between various enticing outfits, there's something here for everyone. All in all, this is a worthy flick.

Review brief: It's all about zany gags and steamy sex in "Pee Wee's XXX Adventure", a very good production from B. Skow, David Stanley, and Vivid that parodies the mainstream title of a similar name. In all honesty, I wasn't sure what to expect when I popped this one into the DVD player. Whose thoughts are really on sex when they think of Pee Wee? Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised. Tommy Pistol plays the Pee Wee character to near perfection, Capri Anderson is in top form, and Evan Stone cleans up in all of his varied roles. In essence, what's presented is a version of the movie in which all of the antics have been transformed into sexualized caricatures of themselves. The result is a clever, fun, and bizarre trip that also stays true to the flavor and plot of the original...all the while throwing in a good deal of hot boinking.

Savanna's in top-form in all three of her sequences here, which include two vaginal encounters and one anal romp. Also presented are one scene apiece from tattooed and cool Juelz Ventura, barely-legal-type Delila Darling, and superstar Tori Black. In all, the sex never drops below the "very good" level in terms of its heat, and--about half of the time--it rises above it. The best segment on the disc belongs to Tori--who's popular for more than just her looks--but they're all worthy of checking out.

While all of the ladies throw down some hot fucking in this one, it's fairly safe to say that Lily LaBeau is the stand-out performer. Not only does she both lead off and close out the movie with her two scenes, but she also takes on a couple of gentlemen at once in the first and rocks the human monster that is Lee Stone in the last. Of course, having the likes of Alexis Texas, Charley Chase, Meggan Mallone, and Sara Jay rounding out the middle of the production certainly doesn't hurt, either. This is some good stuff.

Review brief: "Experience Required" is a very good production from director B. Skow and Vivid that stars former Vivid Girl, Savanna Samson. The focus in this one is on more mature women, which--in the world of porn--are those above the age of 30...in this case, those actually in their 30s. Each of the sequences starts off with the featured actress being interviewed by B. Skow and involves some stripping, teasing, and posing. These introductions often also involve multiple rooms and typically transition to a bit of masturbation on the ladies' parts prior to the male leads making their entrances and delivering the goods. While there are only four scenes, each of them is very good (or often better) as far as the sex goes, and the movie still clocks in at around 3 hours. All in all, this is another strong endeavor from B. Skow and company.

Review brief: "Runaway" is an exceptional production from Vivid, B. Skow (the director), and David Stanley (the writer) that centers around Capri Anderson as a young woman who--after finding out that her mother (Lisa Ann) has lied to her about her father--goes on a quest to find him. Along the way, she encounters a prostitute-obsessed trucker (Tom Byron) who helps her out, and she narrowly escapes the clutches of her bizarre and perverted mother's boyfriend (Barry Scott). There are more twists (and kinks) in the plot of this one than there are turns in Lombardi Street...but, fortunately, the storyline remains both coherent and strong throughout. Of course, an adult film cannot simply live on plot elements alone...and this one is no exception...as the sex is also excellent and well-captured. This is most definitely a worthy release.

Review brief: "Spread Eagle" is an exceptional and comical feature from B. Skow (the director), David Stanley (the writer), and Vivid that features Tommy Gunn as a superhero known as Spread Eagle. Tommy becomes Spread Eagle after a criminal shoots him and his girlfriend (Asa Akira) in an alleyway after an attempted rape gone awry. Fortunately for Tommy, an eagle descends from the sky and not only saves him but also gives him the ability to grow claws, a beak, and wings. With this, Tommy is able to fly, and he also gains a head-splattering shriek that he can use to finish off his opponents. One nice thing about this production is that its storyline--which is strong for an adult film--doesn't take itself too seriously. For instance, Tommy's beak squeaks when it's pushed or bumps up against something, and a lot of the goings-on appear to intentionally parody the whole superhero genre. Also very fortunate--and of utmost importance--for this release is the top-notch cast and the white-hot sex.

Of course, as one might judge from the title, the scandal itself--particularly the purported text messages aspect of the whole affair--is the obvious focus of the storyline.

Bailey--in five separate boy/girl scenes that all rock...hard.
