Review brief: "Spread Eagle" is an exceptional and comical feature from B. Skow (the director), David Stanley (the writer), and Vivid that features Tommy Gunn as a superhero known as Spread Eagle. Tommy becomes Spread Eagle after a criminal shoots him and his girlfriend (Asa Akira) in an alleyway after an attempted rape gone awry. Fortunately for Tommy, an eagle descends from the sky and not only saves him but also gives him the ability to grow claws, a beak, and wings. With this, Tommy is able to fly, and he also gains a head-splattering shriek that he can use to finish off his opponents. One nice thing about this production is that its storyline--which is strong for an adult film--doesn't take itself too seriously. For instance, Tommy's beak squeaks when it's pushed or bumps up against something, and a lot of the goings-on appear to intentionally parody the whole superhero genre. Also very fortunate--and of utmost importance--for this release is the top-notch cast and the white-hot sex.

Review brief: The "11th Hole" is a very good production from Vivid that features Joslyn James--of recent celebrity scandal fame--in a number of interracial scenes. Most of the sequences here are of the one-boy / one-girl variety, and all but one of them features Ms. James taking it anally from the faceless gentlemen. Of course, as one might judge from the title, the scandal itself--particularly the purported text messages aspect of the whole affair--is the obvious focus of the storyline.

Bailey--in five separate boy/girl scenes that all rock...hard. While there isn't any meaningful plot here, there really isn't a need for one, as the performers are in top form and the sex is scorching.

Review brief: "Teases and Pleases" is a very good production from Vivid and a variety of its directors that showcases--at one scene apiece--some of their more-recent (though former) contract performers. On the agenda for this one are scenes from Nikki Jayne, A.J. Bailey, Lia, Meggan Mallone, and Savanna Samson--an all-star lineup, no doubt. While there is something of a compilation feel to this one, I couldnt match any of the sequences to any that I have seen in the past...though I certainly don't have a comprehensive knowledge of the entire Vivid catalog, either. Compilation-feel or not, the ladies really deliver in this production--as they're apt to do--and bring home the goods.

Review brief: Review: Sweet Pussy is an excellent production from Vivid and B. Skow that really hits the mark on a number of levels. The cast is stellarAlexis Texas, Katie St. Ives, Bridgette B. (who really steals the show), Tanner Mayes, and Tori Black all light up the screen with excellent performances. Beyond this, the production values, lighting, camera angles, and editing are all top-notchand there are cool trailer-like intros to the scenes that are both sexy and slick. These really serve to raise the level of anticipation for the primary action that follows. Andnot to worrythe sex is off the charts, as wellas if one needed to ask, given the female stars. In terms of the sex, all of the segments are excellent in quality, and all of them feature some solo-girl actionstripping, teasing, posing, and / or masturbatingprior to the entrance of the lucky gentleman. In Scene One, Alexis Texas takes on Johnny Sins in a steamy romp that includes some hot blowjob and hand-job work, as well as some bouncing cowgirl riding and doggie-style action, as its highlights.

Skow and Vivid that showcases a new pair of female twins that the company has (more or less) discovered—Tati and Taylor Russo. They are clearly true twins, as they are essentially identical…and, as such, there isn’t really much twin-to-twin contact in this film (for obvious reasons), though they do have scenes together. It’s fairly clear that Vivid isn’t interested in pushing the incest envelope with this one, which is fine. Fortunately for the viewer, however, the sex is generally quite hot regardless.

Nikki is captured so that she can become a part of the group, as her entire life had been thrown into a tailspin as a result of a past rape. Indeed, as a consequence of this assault, Nikki met her husbandBen Englishwhom she loves and misses very much while being held captive and being indoctrinated by the womenwho are led by Krissy Lynn. As it might be obvious at this point, the plot here is very well-developed, and the acting, settings, camerawork, and production values are all also high-end.

Review brief: Quote of the Movie: Shove that dick in that pretty, fuckin pink hole. Tori Black demands of Mr. Marcus in Scene Two. Review: Squeeze is an excellent production from B. Skow and Vivid that features an all-star cast of top-name female talent in a number of sexual scenarios that are generally very good or better in terms of their heat and passion. While the star is nominally ex-contract girl, Hanna Hilton, its really difficult to pick out a top perfomer when the likes of Tori Black, Faye Reagan, Charley Chase, and Meggan Mallone are also on the roster. Indeed, the casting here is spectacular. In terms of a plot there really isnt any, other than a loose beach / tropical-climate theme that is conveyed via various digital backdrops that the actresses typically dance and strip in front of prior to their scenes. Along these lines, various propssuch as ice cream cones, popsicles (see Charley Chases pre-sequence for how to use one of these correctly), watermelon slices, and the likeare sometimes employed, as well.

Review brief: Review: Meggans Big Ass Adventure is a very good production from B. Skow and Vivid that features as its premise a day in the life of Meggan Mallone. While the movie could have followed this overall plot / theme a bit better than it did at times, it still works relatively well at framing the various sex scenes. As always, Meggan puts forth sexy performances which are driven home by her combination of stunning good looks and almost tom-boyish charm. She is a unique combination in the adult industry. In terms of the sex, Meggan has three full sequences and one mini sequence on this disc. Her first scenethe mini one (Scene One)features her in the shower posing and soaping up (great footage!), followed by her putting on some makeup and getting dressed. Review brief: Review: Gritty, by B. Skow and Vivid, puts forth exactly what its name implieshardcore, nasty grit. Not only does the sex in this exceptional feature live up to the title, but so do the realistic settingsgrungy bars, a dilapidated bathroom, etc.and the various effects, the camerawork, and the editing, as well. Indeed, everything is brought together quite well in putting forth a product that is exactly what one would expect when purchasing this DVD. There are no failed or cheesy attempts at being gritty to be found hereonly the real deal. In terms of the sex, the sequences are presented with the same overarching theme, but there is no real plot holding them together. That said, one isnt really necessary for a production like this. Headlining the disc is A.J. Bailey, who has two scenesone of the boy-girl variety (Scene One) and the other of the boy-boy-girl variety (Scene Five). Review brief: Review: Getting Off with Monique is a very good production from B. Skow and Vivid that features former contract performer, Monique Alexander, in half of its four scenes. The general theme for this movie revolves around the actresses getting themselves, their partners, and the viewer offhence, the title. Along these lines, the boy-girl sequences all start off with the relevant female performer doing some sexy posing, stripping, teasing, talking to the camera, and / or masturbating to try to both work the viewer up and also include him (or her) in the segment that is to follow. For the one girl-girl scene, the ladies strip down together prior to the action, and there is still plenty of speaking directly to the camera on their parts. Typically, this all works to good effect and adds to the overall production.
