Review:
“Fresh Picked” is an excellent production from B. Skow and Vivid that showcases some of the absolute best of the younger talent that is out there in the adult film industry today. Presented via high-quality and well-captured sequences, the viewer is treated to Tanner Mayes, Mallory Rae Murphy, Blue Angel (whose height and weight you need a conversion table to figure out), Lexi Belle, Ally Kay, and Ashlyn Rae. The scenes are all of the boy-girl, vaginal variety and typically start off with a bit of an interview-like segment that is accompanied by posing, teasing, and / or masturbating prior to the male lead entering the picture. After that, things generally get hot and heavy—half of the scenes here are exceptional and the other half are very good—nothing is bad nor even average. (As an aside and in the interest of full disclosure, I will mention that seeing the names Tanner Mayes and Mallory Rae Murphy in the cast list jumped this one ahead in my watching / reviewing list—it was a good move.)

In terms of the sex, it’s really quite difficult to pick out highlights from these segments because everything is so good, but I’ll give it a shot. In Scene One we have Tanner Mayes—in cowboy boots—and James Deen going at it in a passionate and erotic romp that really showcases Tanner’s flexibility nicely. She takes some heavy rimming in this one and also gets anally thumbed by Mr. Deen. The blowjob work includes some deep-throating, and there is some crazy-hot reverse-cowgirl, reverse-cowgirl-like, and upside-down (for James) pile-driver action (for lack of better descriptors). The festivities close out with an apparent cream-pie (likely real), followed up by both James and Tanner doing some fingering to push some of it out. Overall, this is as excellent a scene as there is. Scene Two brings us Blue Angel—a Hungarian star who seems fairly uninhibited—and Billy Glide in another excellent encounter that—as with Tanner’s before it—highlights Blue Angel’s flexibility. Again, there is rimming by the male lead on the female lead, and the reverse-cowgirl and missionary-like action—particularly where Blue Angel has her legs wrapped behind her head—are amongst the best moments of the segment. Things close out with Billy popping on Blue’s pussy, followed up by a cummy reinsertion and some oral cock clean-off—too hot!

In Scene Three, it’s Mallory Rae Murphy (who purportedly lost her virginity in a prior adult film) and muscle-guy, Johnny Sins, who get it on. There is some deep-throating that goes on in the oral work here, and—as with the other girls mentioned thus far—Mallory gets rimmed. The doggie-style action over the front of the couch is exceedingly hot and so is the standing “cowgirl” fucking, where Johnny holds Mallory in the air as she bounces on him. For the finale, Johnny drops a load on her pussy, tummy, and chest and then follows it up with a cummy reinsertion and some continued fucking. One of the best things about this excellent sequence is that Mallory is visibly aroused throughout the bulk of it. The strong chemistry between the two performers doesn’t hurt the proceedings, either. It is fan-favorite (and self-proclaimed crab-free) Lexi Belle in Scene Four taking on industry legend, Steve Holmes, in a very good romp. Again, there is rimming (male-on-female), and the missionary-like and side-entry positionings that the pair undertakes are quite sexy. Also of note is the bit of a double-foot-job that Lexi administers—too bad that this doesn’t go on a touch longer. A money-shot to Lexi’s bush and pussy closes this one out—good stuff!

In Scene Five, we have Ally Kay—a blonde, barely-legal type whom I haven’t seen before—and her male lead—Bill Bailey—in a steamy, very good sequence. The deep-throating by Ms. Kay here is admirable, and the doggie-style, reverse-cowgirl, and side-entry action is hot. This one finishes off with Billy-boy (had to say it once) depositing a load on Ally’s tummy, pelvis, and pussy—followed up by a bit of cum-tasting on her part—very nice. The sixth and final segment brings us porcelain-skinned brunette, Ashlyn Rae, in a very good encounter with Mr. Pete (Scene Six). There’s some rimming here by Pete, as well as some anal fingering. The doggie-style and cowgirl positions that are employed are particularly sexy, and everything ends with a pop-shot to Ashlyn’s pulled-open pussy—followed up by some oral cock clean-off—sexy stuff!

Some other items should also be mentioned. Advertisements play when the disc is inserted, but these can be skipped by hitting the “Menu” button on the remote. The Vivid website watermark is still present in this production at the bottom of the screen. As always, this doesn’t make much difference due to its tiny size, though it would be better if it were absent. As a note, the film clocks in at around the 3.5 hour mark—which really gives the buyer a good deal of bang for his / her buck. Typically, this would be a bit too lengthy for my tastes, but with this cast, it isn’t a problem at all. As is often (always?) the case with B. Skow’s work, the camerawork and lighting are great. Finally, it should be noted that the settings and lighting for the action are visually pleasant, as well.

In terms of bonus materials and other options, there is some nice extra material presented here. One finds a “Photo Gallery”—which puts forth a slideshow of “pretty-girl” shots and stills from the production—as well as a “Previews” section—which gives a choice of four Vivid trailers. Also present are a “Vivid Extras” option—which plays through various Vivid-related advertisements and an anti-piracy public service announcement—and a “Behind the Scenes” featurette that is about 27 minutes long and features some really nice extra material of the actresses. Finally, there is a “Bonus Scene”—a girl-girl sequence featuring Ashlyn Rae and Tiffany Star (from “Lia’s First Time”). This is a nice, high-quality bonus.

Overall, this disc is worth the price of purchase simply based on the Tanner Mayes scene alone. The same goes for the Mallory Rae Murphy scene. The combination of the other four sequences would also make for a recommendable movie on their own. Putting everything all together, then, should make purchasing this exceptional B. Skow / Vivid showcase of these young starlets a no-brainer. Buy it!
