Review:
“Monique’s Lost Footage” is a very good production from B. Skow and Vivid that brings forth some “lost” sequences of ex-Vivid Girl, Monique Alexander. Of the five scenes, Monique stars in three of them, all of which are with male performer, Greg Sterling, and which range from good-to-very-good all the way up through utterly excellent. Of her segments, Scene One is the shakiest, though it still lies somewhere between a good and a very good rating. Of note in this first encounter between the pair is the hand-job / blowjob work that Monique does on Greg from a predominantly POV perspective, as well as the side-entry and reverse-cowgirl action that the two undertake. What really keeps this one from being a total winner, however, is that the heat is a bit lacking and the pop-shot, which is either in or on Monique’s pussy, is pretty much missed and obscured from sight. Monique’s and Greg’s second romp, in Scene Three, is fortunately much better and is able to reach up and touch the excellent mark. It takes place in the back kitchen of a restaurant—a good choice for the setting—and the black leggings that Monique wears really make for a sexy look. Further, the making out and fingering that occur at the beginning of the sequence are not to be missed, nor is the reverse-cowgirl action that takes place. Once again, the cum-shot here is—to a good degree—missed. In this case, though, it looks like it occurs accidentally and is left on Greg’s stomach. Fortunately, Monique is a pro and salvages it by doing some reinsertion, cum-lapping, and oral cock clean-off. This time around, this “botched” money-shot actually kind of adds to the heat and spontaneity of the action. It gives it a sort of “real” flavor, if you will. (As a side note: it’s likely that these two missed ejaculations were the result of Greg’s newness to the business, which is understandable and also a possible reason that this was “lost footage”). Regardless, it is in their last romp (Scene Five) that Monique and Greg fully hit their stride. Technically speaking, this one has the worst camerawork of the disc because it is primarily—though not completely—shot from Greg’s POV angle. As such, the shot gets a little bit shaky from time to time and, when the action is really plowing along at the end of the segment, one gets a glimpse of what it might be like to be watching porn during an earthquake. That said, this all just adds to the realistic feel of the material, and it gives a level of intensity really unseen by any of the other sequences on the disc. Indeed, the playful interaction between Monique and Greg in this scene, as well as the sex itself, is scalding hot. Among the highlights here are the vibrator masturbation to orgasm (at least apparently so) and blowjob work by Monique, along with the cowgirl and doggie-style action that goes on. In the latter, it looks like Monique gets a bit of anal thumb action, as well. The ending is spectacular for this segment, too, as it features Monique jerking and blowing Greg to a sloppy pop-shot on her face and mouth—letting the actress finish the guy off? Priceless.

The other two scenes on the disc are also of the boy-girl, vaginal variety. These include a very good segment featuring Gianna Lynn taking on the ever-enthusiastic Evan Stone (Scene Two), and Lily Lovely getting it on in a good encounter with Jerry (Scene Four). Both of these romps conclude with a facial for the featured actress, followed by some oral cock clean-off, and the Gianna-Evan banging involves some reasonably whacky positions—as is generally the case for an Evan Stone scene.

Some other items are also worth a mention. The production values are top-notch here, as are the camerawork and angles—generally speaking. The advertisements still play when the disc is inserted, but they can be skipped by hitting the “Menu” button on the remote. Also still present is the relatively unobtrusive watermark in the lower portion of the screen. It should be further noted that the first four scenes all start off with the actresses stripping, posing, teasing, and / or masturbating—sometimes with a toy (i.e., Lily Lovely and her large, flesh-colored dildo at the onset of Scene Four). This type of activity serves to set up the various sequences nicely and allows for a smooth movement into the full-on sex that follows. It is a fairly standard B. Skow device.

In terms of bonus materials and other options, there are “Play Movie”, “Scene Selection”—which is as its name implies, and “Special Features” options in the Main Menu. Under this last item, one finds a “Behind the Scenes” segment—which is good but only about four minutes in length—and a “Previews” option—which gives a choice of four, related trailers. There is also a “Vivid Extras” section—which plays through various advertisements for Vivid-related products—and a “Photo Gallery”—which puts forth a slideshow of stills from the production. Finally, one finds a “Bonus Scene” that features Monique Alexander in a lengthy, boy-girl encounter (from the movie, “All Dressed Up”). This is a high-resolution bonus that looks great on the screen.

All in all, this disc is a winner and worthy of a watch—particularly for fans of Monique Alexander. While it does have its rough patches, the last scene alone is so steamy that it would be a shame to pass it up. Generally speaking, Monique’s work has been great—as has B. Skow’s—and this is no exception for either of them.
