Review brief: Van Styles still excels at doing the things that make a scene hot: highlighting the women in a way most flattering to them and providing amazing camerawork that always seems to almost intrinsically capture the best angle for what the viewer should be seeing and wants to see, knowing where to hold it and how long to maximize its strokeability. Featuring a rare b/g outing with Lily Paige, an off-the-hook two-on-one with Chayse Evans and one of the single places you can see the most promising porno prospect of 2008, Asa Akira, (not to mention hilarious BTS and a bonus bj with cutie Reagan Maddux) frankly you’d be a fool to overlook this release.

Review brief: When compared to the previous five installments, AZZ FEST 6 represents a new age in porn making and a decidedly different approach. 2008 brings us a new type of performer, a different standard for performances and even the directors themselves have changed. Van Styles is no exception. The way this Azz Fest is shot differs greatly from the great early installments but it is no less satisfying. Its very much the same but also better, if that makes any sense. It feels like an update or a new twist on an old subject; a shiny new paintjob on an old and reliable classic. And while "new" is all fine and good, you simply cant beat a classic. Dont worry, Van Styles is still makinem just like he used to. Review brief: Led by Hustler's contract star, the stupendously stacked and sophisticated Mya Luanna (who stars in two scenes), the new Hardline imprint chugs along with Van Styles' PIN UP HONEYS 2 featuring glamorous lookers like naturally busty blonde Amy Ried, exotic Hawaiian/Japanese delight Nautica Thorn and latina spitfire, Lela Star. There's a heavy focus on providing eye candy as opposed to circus act sex but every scene delivers, nonetheless, with Lela Starr as the standout, burning down the house with Jean Val Jean in the third scene. Mya Luanna ends things on a high note in her paramilitary whore outfit with Mark Ashley.

This is the type of filth the Hustler “Hardline” imprint was created for. More importantly, this is the type of filth Van Styles is capable of turning out on a consistent basis if consistently allowed the resources.

What You Should Know: Apparently, somewhere between Ass Appeal 3 and Thick Azz A Brick, Van Styles learned something. I was admittedly disappointed in Ass Appeal 2 and 3, but for entirely different reasons. The second installment had a dream cast but fell victim to Van shooting it like a regular movie and forgetting to place emphasis on the body part his fans came to see: ass. The third was a noticeable and drastic improvement. The attention to ass was great, but the casting left something to be desired. How many more people can possibly get a slice of this pie?) because once this baby starts, I get the feeling that there won't be a need for a break until "The End" flashes across your screen. Let me tell you just how pressed I was to get this review to you: I had just written FIVE reviews minutes before I popped this in to supposedly "relax." After skimming the first two scenes, I came right to my computer to grab stills, determined to get this info to you all ASAP.

The first thing anyone with any observational skills whatsover will note is that Van Styles is experimenting. He opts to step back a bit in Barely Legal: Corrupted 6 and shoot the action from afar at times, peering around potted plants, stanchions and other assorted obstacles giving his latest an intentionally voyueristic feel. There is still plenty of action presented in his usual gonzo-friendly fashion, but the addition of an atypical approach for Styles adds an interesting John Leslie-esque wrinkle, shows growth on his part and bravery to try new things. The never-proactive and normally reserved Michelle Maylene is more giving to her partner Kurt Lockwood than I have ever previously seen her with anyone.

A simple enough verb. To distort the meaning or form of; pervert. To cause to become mentally or emotionally distorted; warp. During the hiccup in his relationship with Larry Flynt Productions/Hustler, director Van Styles took his act and ideas to upstart Pulse Pictures, home of Bryan Xin and Kevin Moore. That wouldve been quite the stable of directorial talent in the 18-34 age range but I suppose it wasnt to be. Styles came to terms and re-upped with Hustler in the end (DVSXs Bobby Manilla stepped in to helm Barely Legal: Corrupted 5 in his absence) but not before completing two movies featuring themes near and dear to his own heart before departing.

It feels sooo good," says a grinning Anna Pierceson (I Can't Believe I Took The Whole Thing 3, Teacher's Pet 11) to Van Styles of creampies before meeting Mark Wood at a deserted metro station. The bubbly Arizona native grabs almost instinctively at the bulge in Mark's jeans: "Oh, he's perfect. He's gonna fit just fine." I like this atypical setup from Styles. Having girls flash publicly and risk indecency charges aren't usually his way, so this is a refreshing change of pace even if it is short-lived.

Nuh uh. What I affectionately refer to as Take It Black 3.5 was only a hiccup in their relationship and now Van is back where he belongs and doing what he does best -- shooting ass. Ass Appeal 2 fell somewhat short of my expectations considering its really strong cast but rather than wallow in the mire, Styles circled the wagons and assembled yet another powerhouse cast of starlets less known for their asses than ladies hes filmed before but all great performers.

Bobby Manila filled in briefly, helming Barely Legal: Corrupted 5 in Styles absence but Van returns to his Video Team-like roots here, directing white-hot interracial action for the series he debuted for Hustler with, one that has yet to falter or misstep. It has never been hard for Styles to acquire the services of one Jasmine Byrne and before she headed off into the sunset, it seemed Aidan Layne was rather fond of being in front of his camera, too.

Review brief: 3/5ths GREAT Barely Legal: Corrupted 4 2005, 2 hours and 34 minutes Hustler Directed by Van Styles Starring Eve Laurence, Penny Flame, Daisy, Adriana Delfino, Tiger What You Should Know: Let's keep it short and sweet. Tiger and Adriana are newbies you haven't seen before and likely won't see again. They give peformances typical of girls in their not-so-unique situation. They're plenty hot to watch and Styles' expertise behind the camera makes it all pretty and pleasurable to do so but I won't be wasting the ink to tell you about their fairly average scenes. The real story is the first three scenes that start off Hustler's Barely Legal: Corrupted 4. Scene One: Penny Flame with Mark Davis I defy you to see Penny Flame and tell me she doesn't remind you of a younger Jewel De'Nyle. She has the very same sly, come-hither glances and facial expressions and a similarly playful yet uninhibited wanton sexual energy about her that I loved so much in Jewel.
