Review brief: NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies dont have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. Im rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also arent normally the glamour stars one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as its often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesnt have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. That said, amateur and homemade features have a great charm to them, simple because the people in them are doing what theyre doing to have fun and because they enjoy it.

Initial Reaction: After this one Im going to have to check out more POV movies! Who Should Watch It : Fans of anal and POV sex Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who doesnt want to hear the guys with POV sex The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty darn good. The audio is nicely balanced and clear, but there are a couple very minor background noises. The video is much the same way. It has a hint of grain and the lighting varies slightly, but its far from bad or from interfering with the action. Instead its just enough to notice. Music: None Menus: The main menu is okay.

Hes been fairly hit or miss for me, so Im not quite sure what to expect here. Initial Reaction: Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting passionate sex Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a new girl in every scene The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The audio is very well done. Its clear and well balanced for the most part, and the few times there are background noises they feel like they belong in the scene (which I dont doubt with John Leslies reputation). The video is also very well done. Theres a touch of grain, but Leslie often uses filters with his video to give it a slightly more artistic look.

With the cast hes put together here I couldnt help but look forward to this one with sky high expectations. Then it arrived, and my expectations shot even higher. Why? The box. Cheek Freaks comes in a Super King jewel case and the cover has a comic book styled look that made the package remind me of those super cool old comics that you always dreamed of having as a kid (or college student or even as a grownup) that was packaged super tight at the comic store and displayed up on the wall. Yeah, Im a geek, but I cant remember the last time I saw a DVD package come out looking this cool. Okay, yes I can.

The audio has a bit of a hiss in the background, which I think is the microphone picking up the video camera. Theres a couple minor background noises, but for the most part Megan is easy to hear and understand. The video also feels a little dated. Theres some very minor pixelation, but very little motion since Megan has a very good camera mount that she can adjust by remote control. The lighting is pretty good, and comes across at a very realistic level.

Im really looking forward to seeing what Daniel Dakota is going to do with it after taking over for Kira Eggers. Initial Reaction: Ive been a pretty strong supporter of this series, and I think this is the best yet. The audio is clear and well balanced. Theres almost a hint of echo in some places due to the hard surfaces, but no more than a hint. The video is also very well done. I cant go into his movies with anything but extremely high expectations. Initial Reaction: This DVD should come with a drool rag! I think its the hottest movie Ive seen from Jules Jordan, and thats saying something! Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting straightforward, down and dirty sex Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting the extremely anal side of Jules Jordan Audio /Video Quality: As usual with Evil Angel DVDs, the technical aspects are excellent. The audio is clear and well balanced, without so much as a hint of background noise. The video is much the same way. Theres almost a hint of grain and its extremely well lit.

I cant help but go in with very high expectations. Initial Reaction: It has a slightly different feel from the other episodes Ive seen from this series, but its still every bit as good as the others! Who Should Watch It : Anybody who loves strippers and the female form Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants actual sex Audio /Video Quality: The audio and video are fairly similar to what youd get with a home movie. Although I normally consider this a bad thing, everything here is done with hand cameras and on the movie, so Im not sure how one could get it much better.
