The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very well done. The audio is clear and well balanced, even when the performers are talking with Danny behind the camera. The video is just as good. There’s barely even a hint of grain and it’s very well lit. This is a great looking and sounding movie!

Menus: The menus are very nicely done. The main menu has some nice animation and a bit of the movie worked in. The chapter menu is one of the best I’ve seen in a long time, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the performers in each scene.

The Feature

As usual with Danny Case, there’s never anything close to a plot to start out any of the scenes. The girls show off for the camera and sometimes talk with him, but that’s about it to start things out. From then on, you never know what’s going to happen other than smoking hot sex.

I can’t really think of a single thing that didn’t work for me in this movie. Best of all is how what’s basically a one trick pony varied with every scene. Yes, they all start out with a little tease, but the teases vary a little from Gia’s playing with her toys down to Paola’s barely even showing herself off before she’s joined by Mark. The endings are just as good, as every finish is unique. This isn’t the typical “every pop has to go on the girl’s face” movie. Yes, there are facials, but there’s also cream pies, swallowing, and pops on the bush. For what looked at first to be a one trick pony, Chicks & Salsa has plenty of variety and definitely deserves a place at the table!

The behind the scenes featurette lasts twenty minutes. It starts out with Jennifer’s photo shoot led by Chris Streams and Danny Case, Pat Myne’s evil twin. It lasts eight minutes, which normally means I’m a bit bored by the end of it but with how hot Jennifer is I think I was more like a quivering bowl of jelly. Gia is the bigger hole here, but Mark and Paola are fun enough that it’s still a behind the scenes featurette worth checking out.

Currently, many of 3rd Degree’s DVDs can be found online for between about $16 and $25 with quite a few stores offering them for about $20. As usual, 3rd Degree gives you more than your money’s worth. The sex is smoking, the technical aspects are well done, and there’s some effort put into the extras. This is a great DVD!

Note to 3rd Degree: A few more chapter breaks would be a great thing! At the very least, please break up the tease, the fucking, and the pop shot.
