The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty darn good. The audio is clear, but there are a few minor balance problems here and there. The video is also very nicely done. It’s very well lit and makes good use of natural light. It has just a hint of grain, which gives it a slightly artistic feeling, and a little motion, which gives it a slightly primal feeling at times which also works very well.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu nicely combines a bit of animation with the boxcover for a very good first impression. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the girl in it. There’s also a “Select a Star” menu which lets you choose a scene based on the girl in it and then go to a specific sex act in the scene.

The Feature

For his second Hustler movie, Van Styles makes his mark on the Barely Legal franchise. Obviously he sticks with young women, but he takes them to the dark side of sex here. Barely Legal Corrupted is only my second Van Styles movie, and I gotta say that it’s very easy to see why Hustler grabbed him to try to bring a harder edge to the company. He’s got one heck of an artistic eye and I’m amazed at how much he’s able to capture with what looks like just one camera. With one camera Van Styles captures more action and keeps a better balance than I’ve seen some directors do with two or three cameras. It also helps that he’s gathered together a cast that obviously loves sex. There isn’t even the hint of a bad scene in the movie, and every chick here qualifies as a knockout babe. If I had to make a complaint about the movie, I’d almost say that it was too long, but at the same time the scenes never drag or feel like they’re too long. It’s almost like Van Styles collected five short porn movies here rather than five sex scenes, and I can easily see it taking some people a couple weeks to make it through all of Barely Legal Corrupted. Van Styles has put together another fantastic fuck flick with Barely Legal Corrupted that’s well worth checking out, and he’s put so much here that you probably better buy it rather than renting.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for Cumswappers, Professianals 6, Barely Legal Ski Camp, The Harder They Cum, Centerfolds, and Young Girls Fantasies 7. The slide show lasts just over three minutes with roughly six seconds per very good looking full screen photo. There’s also commercials and a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts nearly a half hour. Van Styles makes his way around the set chatting with the stars as they hang out or get ready. It’s a great look around the set, and Van Styles does an excellent job of keeping a fun and playful feel through it all. I’ve heard that Van’s a pretty cool guy, and this featurette really reinforced that by making it look like he keeps a fairly loose set where everybody enjoys themselves. This is an excellent behind the scenes featurette.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Hustler’s newer line of DVD, such as Van Style’s line, can be found online for between about $19 and $30 with many stores offering them for around $20. Let’s see, over three hours of great sex, very good technical aspects, and effort put into the extras. I’m not sure how I couldn’t recommend this one!
